Description of Work: Refurbished our cottage. Howard did a very nice job. As a matter of fact we remodeled this cottage to rent out... but after Howard was finished with it, it was to nice to rent out so we are using it as a second home.

+ -1 moreEverything went very well. He made an estimate then gave us a date of starting and competeion and was 100% on target with those dates. And the fees that he quoted were right on track. He acctually threw in some extra siding for free because he forgot mention it in the estimate.
Description of Work: We had a shed that needed door replacement and he replaced the doors. He had to repair some wood on the house as well as siding. He also also replaced two steps leading in and out of the house. There were also a couple posts that needed replaced in the car port and he replaced the posts in the car port. Then on the deck in the back of the house they had to add some 2x4's to support the flooring and he did that as well.

Description of Work: I use Howard Jonson Contracting on a regular basis. I have two rental properties, a retail store as well as my personal home. I trust his advice and greatly rely on his expertise and experience. Mr Johnson has done every-type of home/property maintenance and remodeling imaginable for me; from roofs, to concrete, windows, hardwood floors, siding, bathroom and kitchen remodeling. Probably the most notable work he has performed is a gas fireplace and mantle in our family room that has become the center piece of the house.

+ 0 moreHoward has worked at my home on numerous occasions. I don't even ask him for a price anymore. He is always fair with me and does A+ work. Shows up on time. Gives expert advice and guidance. Does the work of three people. Has all the tools and gadgets to get the job done right and in a timely fashion. He is the ONLY guy who does work at my house. Howard is always a pleasure to do business with.
Description of Work: New Hardwood flooring. Two bathroom remodels. Installed new fireplace. Built in bookshelves.... and a great deal more.
