Wonderful company to work with from start to finish! Krista scheduled our home inspection and was extremely helpful and polite. Marc Adams inspected our new home and we were thrilled at the thorough job he did. The report he supplied after the inspection was delivered in a timely manner and was very detailed and easy to read including pictures of concerned areas taken the day of the inspection. Marc was extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this company to anyone in need of a home inspection.

Started off great my first call to their office, Very polite and professional office staff. The Technicians that were sent out to provide their services were great guys also. Very professional, explained the aspects of all the tests that were being performed. The reports that I received were excellent as well. Very detailed, picture charts, explanations and diagrams of the septic system. Being from out of state, I really had no idea how the well and septic systems worked, the reports were clear and the men explained everything to me. They did a very great job and they found issues with the house. They were very professional and very helpful. We are a lot of back and forth and I thought they were very helpful in taking the time to answer all questions so that we could talk to the realtor and seller.

Our Inspector, David Taylor, did the inspection at a home we were looking to buy in Mountaintop, PA. He also did an inspection for us at a foreclosure in Shavertown. Both inspections were professionally done and thorough. He was considerate, answered our questions and brought to our attention the big items that cropped up during the inspections. Unfortunately we did not decide to buy either house, but his findings kept us from making big mistakes! We are under contract on another house and will be using ComfortSpec again. We have purchased 3 other homes in the past 5 years (investment properties) using other inspection companies and ComfortSpec is as good as they come! Highly recommend!

Jason was our inspector for the whole home inspection. He was on time and very professional about everything. He answered all the questions we asked as we are first time home buyers, so all of his recommendations were appreciated! Jason took lots of pictures for our report which is helpful when we go back through and look for things that need fixed. He also gave us a binder full of information about the general upkeep of our home, recommendations on services, fact sheets, etc. Jason eased our minds about buying a home!

We had a great technician named "Z"! He did a fantastic job inspecting every area of this home. He made sure to let us know what he was doing and why along the way. He encouraged us to ask any questions we had apt any time. We really felt at ease from the confidence and knowledge Z had. If you are thinking of buying a home do yourself a favor and call this company. I had a full 25 page report including photos with descriptive highlights for each. Great job, great technician and a great price!

The Inspector Jason showed up early and got right to work. He walked me through the Inspection and informed of things that I needed to know. He answered questions that I had and listened to my concerns. His assistant Dave was also courteous and professional. Overall we feel like we got a great Home Inspection with pictures and informative narratives on findings and recommendations on how to remediate the problems found. A thorough and professional Home Inspection like this was well worth the money we paid to have it done.

The inspection went well, we got there about 10 minutes late, they had already started the water pressure and septic system tests. they walked me around the whole time showing me things that were questionable and how to maintain the appliances, well water system etc. They finished up in about an hour and a half and that night I received an e-mail with the initial findings. 3 days later, as promised the water findings came in and 2 days after that, as promised, the radon findings were presented to me. ComfortSpec kept me informed the whole time and I would definitely use them again.

It went GREAT! As home inspections go, we DEFINITELY got what we paid for. At the end of the inspection, they gave my wife and I a binder full of great information and useful tips, along with base estimates on EVERY type of home improvement and a paper for children stating "they informed the tooth fairy of our move." He was a great help on pointing out a lot of stuff that we missed, along with great tips on how to fix the problem. My mother and father-in-law were also there and they felt the same way, answering all their questions.ALL of our questions were answered with confidence informing us that he was very experienced and knowledgable. He brought up A LOT of different problems with the house, along with his 2 cents on how to fix it. He explained everything in great detail, and gave us sense of comfort that our inspection was being down by a true professional.

I had used comfort spec for another home purchase and then used him again for my new home purchase. I needed to have the house reinspected after corrections were made for the first inspection. He employee came out and noted that the seller had put a dehumidifier in the basement. After settlement I discovered that it was not a dehumidifier but a humidifier. I had to replace the humidifier with a dehumidifier. When I asked the company to make good on their guarantee they said they would if I would give them the humidifier. The humidifier's value was more than the dehumidifier and I did not feel they had a right to the humidifier as they made they mistake and should honored their guarantee and not be able to obtain a something they are making money on for THEIR MISTAKE! I would NEVER use them again and will tell as many people I know not to use them!

iHe found carpenters ants in a wooden panel on the outside of a sunporch, roof was patched and leaked, hose connecting the dish washer was installed wrong, installation in basement was installed upside down, small amount of mold on a basement wall behind a freezer, seal on toilet in master bedroom needs to be replaced, none of the appliances were on the recall list, house was structurally sound, septic was in good condition as well as the furnace, hot water heater and air conditioning unit, 3 filters on the water system. Over all I was very impressed with the throw inspection ComfortSpec provided. Also gave me a binder with a list of local professionals and utilities, how to maintain the house and what hazards to look for such as mold, and tips on energy efficiency and much more. The inspectors were polite and informative. I was very satisfied.

ComfortSpec Home Inspection Company was recommended to me by local Real Estate agent. Company's representative, Zbigniew Szalkiewicz 'ZEE' showed up on time. The inspection took a few hours with all aspects of it explained to me in a very professional and knowledgeable manner. I did not feel being rushed through the whole process which was a nice experience considering the fact that 'time means money' for majority of companies. Mr. ZEE is a very professional and experienced fellow. His detailed and thorough inspection of the property gave me a piece of mind and addressed all of my questions and concerns. I can honestly recommend him and his company. Thank you again!

Zee and David met us at the house exactly on time. They both explained all the details of how they inspect a house and how long it would take. They then went to work with my husband tagging along asking a hundred and one questions. Their patience was amazing! When they found something that needed repair they not only wrote it down but took pictures and then explained to us what they were looking at and why it was important for them to note it. They were very exacting in there work and totally professional. I believe we paid an excellent price for the full service they preformed.

Initially I requested an inspection for structure, septic and water. I had to have a second inspection for septic. In both instances two employees came for the inspection. I only expected one. In both cases. the employees arrived in a clean company marked van. Both were wearing clean, pressed uniforms. They used shoe protection when entering the house. During the second inspection which was only for a septic test, I had a number of questions which I neglected to ask during the first inspection. The inspectors "Z" and George, gave me plenty of time to ask all the questions that I wanted. "Z" even went into the crawl space with me to show me a few things that I neglected to ask during the first inspection. During both inspections, all of the inspectors were knowledgeable. There were no questions they could not answer. I had to contact the office of ComfortSpec several times regarding scheduling and payment. The phone was answered promptly. Krista ,(I think) was very pleasant. I was able to schedule without a problem. I was given the option to pay online, by check or over the phone. I highly recommend ComfortSpec.

My inspector was named Zee. He arrived at the site 1/2 hour early and was polite and courteous as he went about his business getting ready to start the process of inspecting a home that I was hoping to buy. He definitely had a very organized plan as he surveyed. He was beyond thorough. I know more about that house now than I know about the house I've lived in for over 25 years! When he saw a potential problem he traced it until he found the source. I was taking notes and he had no problem when I needed him to repeat something or slow down in his remarks when I needed more time to write. I could tell he knew his stuff. He didn't just tell me what was wrong with the property, he told me how old systems were, how to maintain things, what to expect in the future, proper use and care, things to watch out for....very, very thorough and knowledgable. He had special tools that I had never seen before to enable him to get into every nook and cranny. When I first called this company, I was just researching from a list of inspection companies my realtor had offered. The person on the phone told me they could look at my property within four days. I wanted to call around before committing ( being a price conscious person) and was told that they would honor a competitor's price as long as it was for the same exact service. They also offer a 100-day ( from closing date) warranty on anything they have inspected. I think they were a few more dollars in cost than their competitors but I definitely got what I paid for - and more! When the inspection began, Zee presented me with a three ring binder which contained information that anyone buying a home would find useful. The binder is over 100 pages on home maintenance facts, energy tips, local companies they recommend for other services, etc...Comfort Spec offers a lifetime Recall Service which notifies me if anything in my house ever has a recall. Within hours of the inspection, I received the basic written inspection (over 28 pages which included photos of any areas of concern as well as written instructions which echoed everything he had told me in person - I could throw my handwritten notes away!) I think I spent a tiny bit more using ComfortSpec but I feel that I got way more than my money's worth by using them. Zee, my inspector, was one smart guy. He made sure I knew what was in store for me if I were to purchase what I thought was going to be my "dream house." I felt that he really worked for me. An honest and thorough inspection that made me see the light. As disappointed ( heart broken, really) as I was, I am grateful that I went with this company. They really worked for me, not just telling me what I wanted to hear. I've heard that Jason is great as well ( I think he owns the business) but, if you request Zee you will not be disappointed!

Our home inspection Jason did an excellent job. Was extremely professional and very helpful with our questions. Jason discovered several issues with a house that we thought was perfect, and kept us from possibly making a huge mistake by buying this home. We are able to move on without regret, and now we will be closing on our new home that we love. Would highly recommend Jason and Comfortspec for any home inspection.

Zee did a great job in showing us the plus' and minus' of the home. I was really impressed at the professionalism and the genuine care displayed by him when asking all questions even if some of the answers were obvious to most. He was on time and helped us get access to the community. My wife, her family and I left the appointment with complete reassurance on every topic relating to the home. We will definitely use CompfortSpec in the future and also recommend them to my friends and contractors in my field. 11 out of 10.

This was the second time that our family used the services of Jason at ComfortSpec. A small price to pay for the service we received. The reports were very comprehensive, Jason is a professional! When looking at a home many times the view of the potential purchaser is an emotional one. Jason looks at all aspects of a home from an analytical point of view. From his review we were able to determine if we wanted to get involved in the purchase or not. We were looking at a home with a lot of work that needs to be done and his information was priceless!

Extremely thorough. Checked all structural details on the exterior and interior of the house. Covered 400 points related to electrical, heating, plumbing, water quality and general condition of all appliances. Inspector Joseph Steo was very knowledgeable with all aspects of building codes and safety issues. Very professional and willing to answer all questions. Would recommend this service without hesitation.

Joe and Jason are really helpful. They explain everything they are doing and they hold no information back. We have used them twice. The first house had so many issues that Joe found holding nothing back, so even though we loved the house we left. The second house is the house we ended up purchasing. As long as Joe said it was sturdy we believed him! Best purchase ever! Inspection comes with multiple pictures emphasizing issues or potential problems. All suggestions were spot on and were repairing everything before making the final move.

The home inspection went extremely well. The tech was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain to me how many of the homes systems worked. He did find a number of issues with the house that I would never have found. Everything was completed professionally and all the reports where sent to me digitally. They even checked to see if any of the appliances/heating etc had recalls.

usComfortSpec was very accommodating. We had to reschedule the appointment in less than 24 hour notice. We met with Jason, and he was at the house early and had already started the inspection. Jason was very thorough with his report that included pictures, and he went through all the incentives and policies included with the inspection.
