Everyone at Comfortspec was incredibly patient and professional. We had a bit of difficulty with the listing agent on the home we are buying and had to reschedule the test several times which was frustrating for all of us, but the folks at Comfortspec were nothing but professional and understanding. The home inspection itself was incredibly through and informative, and the tech was excellent! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Inspector arrived early, was extremely friendly, thorough, and helpful. Answered all of our questions throughout the inspection, called us over when something important was discovered and we weren't there. Made sure we understood the house from the inside out. Would highly recommend!

Our inspector Jason, was completely professional and punctual. He was patient, friendly and informative, and answered any questions we had, as well as bringing to our attention things we hadn't thought of. He had an extensive knowledge of all the systems that ran our home, heating and central air unit, propane and our appliances, and was happy to have us follow along and learning from him along the way. The inspection is over, but I still feel as though I can contact Comfort spec with any questions that might come up. They also give you a great manual to consult as you might need to.

Mark from ComfortSpec came out to inspect a home I am purchasing. I had him do a full house inspection as well as a water and mold inspection. He was friendly, informative and very thorough. He pointed things out that I never would have seen which certainly helped me evaluate the condition of the home. My family and I had many questions and he took the time to explain everything to us with concise and clear answers. He gave great insight on what the issues were and suggested solutions for them. Over the phone and emails, Krista was prompt with getting back to us and was helpful with explaining services. I recommend ComfortSpec if you're looking for a professional and thorough team to inspect your home.

Marc was already at the property and setup by the time I arrived. He went over the process and answered all questions I asked. After the inspections were done, Marc gave me some additional materials and told me I would have the initial reports around 7:30 PM. Sure enough, I received the e-mail at 7:15 PM and was very pleased with the information and how it was presented. I would use ComfortSpec again in the future.

This is 2nd time using this company. We highly recommend them. In all the years of my buying and selling homes, I have never come across a company that made the inspection seem so effortless. Both employees doing the inspection were so helpful, giving us money-saving tips for the property. They were willing to show us areas that needed attention and go over everything thoroughly. We felt confident. We will be buying more properties in the future and we will ALWAYS use them in the future.

Our ComfortSpec Inspection was great! The gentleman they sent was on-time, professional and very knowledgeable. The entire inspection took about 2 hours and he made sure to check in with us throughout to let us know what he was finding and what we could do to correct any issues. On-top of the great in person experience, ComfortSpec sent us a very thorough document that outlined (with photos) all of the items we needed to address with detailed explanations. As a first time home buyer, this experience has been extremely valuable and I highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a home inspection!

Scheduling an appointment was very simple and pleasant. I was on a serious time crunch so they were able to accommodate me two or three days before the deadline. Also, I was able to pay my invoice via credit card online, which is a plus in my book! The Inspector was early, prepared, personable/welcoming, knowledgeable and patient all the way to the end. I am a first time homebuyer so he was able to explain/repeat his observations regarding the home?s operating systems and maintenance tips (righty tighty lefty loosey), hence the needed patience. He followed a protocol and documented his findings in the written report with pictures. Even with all the questions and confused looks I had, he was still able offer exceptional top to bottom inspection. He explained what he can and can?t offer; to fill in that gap the company gifts us with a handy dandy homeowner?s manual which lists local services as well as estimates of construction and remodeling costs. Can?t go wrong with all these and much more details in one booklet. I can say that the inspection report is thorough and puts me on the path of preparedness for homeownership! I believe I will continuously refer to the report and booklet as well as take advantage of the support services offered.

I have purchased two other homes prior to this home. This was by far the most thorough inspection of any home that I have purchased. The inspector met us at the scheduled time. The inspection was updated on the computer with pictures of inspection concerns. Following the inspection a 29 page inspection report with pictures was sent to me via e-mail. Following the inspecction I was able to call the inspector with any questions or concerns with phone calls promptly returned. I highly reccomend this inspection service provider.

The Home inspector was very professional and gave us all of the facts on the house that we were going to purchase.I would recommend this company.

My boyfriend and I are purchasing a short sale home in Fountain Hill, PA. Comfort Spec was recommended to us by our realtor, but before booking anything we got an Angie's List subscription to do some research (with a groupon, and buying a short sale, where you never know what you'll run into, BEST investment EVER! Has already paid off for this and searching for a plumber.) Anyhow, Comfort Spec seemed to get rave reviews all around, so we booked our home inspection. With the joys of a short sale, we were unable to get the water turned on for our scheduled date, and we had enough time to cancel and rebook. We were told our inspector would now be Z. I arrived at the property 15-20 minutes prior to our scheduled appointment and Z was already there, looking around the outside of the home. After introductions, he inquired if I wanted to follow him around, to which I said absolutely!! He explained that he would start off inspecting the outside of the property and then would move inside. While walking around the property Z took the time to point out everything that was good and those items that could use improvement and how we would improve them. He also took pictures of all things that needed attention to include in the report. He also provided us with suggestions about cutting back vegetation to avoid potential water or insect issues with the foundation. Now, because it was a short sale, there had been a break in while the property was unoccupied and we needed to make some plumbing repairs. My boyfriend was finishing up while I walked around with Z, and suddenly we heard screaming and yelling. Well some of the plumbing work didn't hold and Z jumped right into action helping us anyway he could to get the water to stop. He was also patient while we searched for a plumber on Angie's List (shout out to Lehigh Plumbing, you rock as much as Z!!), and even provided valuable input while discussing with our realtor whether or not we should move forward with the sale. Z totally went above and beyond in our home inspection!! He was thorough, polite, helpful, flexible, and answered any and all questions we had for him. Leading up to this, we had been watching a lot of Holmes Inspections on Netflix, which made us incredibly neurotic and we could not have asked for a better, more thorough inspector than Z. We'll be requesting him for all future real estate purchases!!

Although the house is not perfect, the inspection was a very Educational experience. "Z", our inspector, was very knowledgeable and informative on all aspects of the process. He took a lot of time to explain all that he was doing and what to look for in the future in case we should have any problems. I cannot express the gratitude that my wife and I have toward Comfortspec for sending such a knowledgeable and caring person to inspect our future Forever Home. When all was said and done, I knew so much more about this home and felt so much more comfortable and confident about our purchase decision. The Respect that was given to me By "Z" and the rest of the Comfortspec Company cannot honestly be Graded. It was what my family needed to ease our anxiety and tensions on this home. I Would 1000000% call and recommend Comfortspec for my future needs and for my family and friends.

The process was very easy. Our inspector was TJ Rohleder and he was very professional. He walked us through ever piece of what he was doing that day and answered all of our questions. He was easy going and always willing to take time to explain things to us. In addition, he would stop what he was doing to answer any follow up questions. TJ created an open and honest atmosphere for my wife and I, which was great considering this is our first home purchase. The company gave us details on estimates for costs too. In the future I will continue to use this Comfort Spec.

Inspection went great! A few things need attention as soon as we close on the house but TJ the inspector was great on giving us solutions for our issues. We had no idea how detailed and thorough TJ would be but we were definitely thankful and appreciative of all of the input and information he willingly provided.

Limitations existed because of no working plumbing. Recommendations for repairs on the roof and trim of the house. Some insect damage was brought to attention. Mold issues were addressed.

Marc was very informative throughout the process. He would explain what he was doing and why. Then he elaborated on the implications of the information he was providing.

The home inspection went really well the house is in great shape he advised me on 2 things 1 Carpenter Ants were detected He explained what type damages they can create if go untreated and 2 the main circuit breaker panel which needs to be put in order he also explained to me on how to keep the roof gutters cleaned to avoid potential roof damages and other areas that can be easily repaired

It was raining outside pretty heavily when we had our home inspection. Mark did a great job checking out our home we are looking to purchase! All of the areas of the house were checked and throughly explained to us. We liked the guarantee's and discounts when purchasing our services.

Comfortspec performed a very thorough home inspection. They let us follow them around and explained things to us as they went. They also would let us know if there was anything concerning or important found right away. They were 15 minutes late, but did call to notify us of this. Jason and TJ arrived promptly (actually, before me) and had already completed the outside inspection of the house by the time I arrived. When I came in, Jason introduced himself and was very professional in explaining everything that had already been reviewed, as well as what they still had to do. TJ introduced himself shortly after, and both were very personable. The two of them together worked quickly and efficiently, including taking pictures. Jason would, from time to time as they were working, explain to me what they were taking pictures of and what might or might not need repairs. At the end of the inspection (which only took an hour of my time since both TJ and Jason were there), Jason went over all the elements of the written review with me, as well as the pictures and where various items were located in the house that needed repair. He also provided me with a binder of information that included approximate costs of repairs for many items in the house, house maintenance suggestions, and things to check for in the pre-closing walkthrough. The company also does a "Tooth Fairy" address change and "Monster Free Guarantee" for children - I found this to be adorable. Overall, I was very impressed with the price, service, and professionalism of Comfort Spec. They also offer a year's subscription to the Home Owner's Network (explained to me as AAA for houses), and a subscription to Angie's list for free. I would most definitely recommend them to anyone else.
