Could not have asked for a better moving company!! J.R. and his team were friendly, courteous, and extremely efficient. They came in under the estimate (for a two part move). I will definitely be using Riverfront again!!

We had a large move that would normally take 2 days and Riverfront Moving and Storage accomplished it in one.  It's best to take as much time as you can, but because we were in a pinch the owner (J.R.) went above and beyond to fit our 5 bedroom house in.  His estimate was spot on and he was very helpful by giving us strategies for packing that made this our smoothest move yet.  We hit a few snags with cramming such a large move in one day, but in the end J.R. came through and took great care of us.   We give our strongest endorsement of this company.  Integrity and great follow up and follow through are hard to come by these days.  This is the kind of company you choose to work with your precious belongings.  Moving is personal and can be stressful so make sure you choose a company who can empathize and treat you and your belongings with care...for us that company was Riverfront Moving and Storage!

JR and his team were so helpful and friendly. The job took less time than estimated and my cost wound up being less than I was quoted. These guys did a fantastic job, I would hire them again in a heartbeat, and I would refer them to friends and family with confidence.

JR and team did a great job of moving me on time and on budget. They were as careful as they could be given my stairways were too narrow for my furniture. Also, they worked carefully to pack all my things (we packed a bunch also) the day before so they were ready to go. I paid a small extra amount to have them move my refrigerator to a neighborhood woman whom I sold it to, so they were able to accommodate me on that without an exorbitant charge.

Great experienc easiest move I've had

My initial phone call with JR was very positive. He was very friendly and spent at least 15 min with me explaining all the details and gave me an estimated time of how long the move would take which ended up being correct. The only complaint I had with JR was that after we talked he told me he was going to send me an email that afternoon with the details so I could confirm the move, but I didn't get an email. I called later in the day and he said he would send the email. The next day I still didn't have an email so I called again and he said he would send it that afternoon, but still no email. I finally did get the email 2 days after our initial conversation and then was able to confirm I would hire them for the move. I was getting nervous not getting an email for 2 days from JR because the move was less than a week away and by not having an email to confirm in writing it was not leaving me much time to find another mover if I had to. The movers were very courteous and careful with our items. A lampshade did get crushed in the elevator which they did tell me about, It was old so it didn't really matter too much. So the only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of the 2 day delay in a confirmation email and the crushed lampshade. On a very positive note there were no hidden fees and they made an additional drop off stop for me with no additional charges.

I have to say that JR and his guys are fantastic. From his home walk through to his detailed explanation of what to expect. Not only was he very honest and upfront his estimate was absolutely dead on and on the low side of his quote. The team he sent was a great group of guys and they worked quickly were courteous and showed care for our belongings. I've moved many times with a few different moving companies and by far this was my best experience. I would never recommend another company or use another one. Thank you JR for having a great company and hiring the great employees that you do.

Absolutely fantastic team. They were efficient and professional from start to finish. The quality of the work makes the prices too good to be true...but they are! Would recommend to everyone.

Movers were on time, extremely careful with antiques and art, wasted no time. Moreover, they were very polite and professional, pleasant to work with and happy to assist in any way. Having an on-site estimate eased some of the anxiety. Outstanding.

From initial contact with JR, I was very impressed. He answered all my questions and even provided advice for choosing a moving company. He is very professional, friendly, and was available every time I called. His staff was very friendly and respectful of my belongings. I would use them again if I have to move and would recommend them to family and friends.

JR and his entire team were nothing short of excellent from beginning to end. JR personally came out to assess our needs so we weren't guessing at truck size, boxes, and logistics from the start. He went through each room and took a full inventory, then sat down with us to explain rates, how many people were needed, how to make the move more efficient, and how important it is to shop around to make sure that we were getting the best value. After looking at a few other places, it became clear that no other company was willing to put in the work that Riverfront was. Nobody else was even willing to give an in-person estimate. Other companies required me to figure out what size truck I needed as well as how many boxes, etc. on my own, and would have charged significantly more if my (completely uneducated) guesses were off. I would have been WAY off - it would have cost me a fortune and quite possibly another truck and another day of work. His team was prompt, courteous, respectful, and very friendly! They never once stopped to chat or waste time, but they were conversational while carefully and quickly packing up our entire lives for us. I would welcome the opportunity to work with them again in a heartbeat... they made a very stressful event into an enjoyable experience and I cannot thank them enough! By the way... they LOVE cheese steak pizza :) Thanks again, JR and the crew!!! P.S. I ended up paying just BELOW what I was quoted for our move, and it was significantly less expensive than I thought it would be. They also broke down/rebuilt all of our furniture which I did not expect to be included in the quote
