They do good work. They keep me supplied with oil and service my system every year. I have been using them for years. They have 24/7 service which is great.

They came out several times for service calls on my old furnace and they have always been prompt, courteous, and fixed it the first time. They call to schedule my maintenance calls and are always on time. I highly recommend them.

I had Meenan come in for a separate service call and the technician noticed that the oil tank was leaking slightly. I was in the process of selling my home and had two home inspections done. Neither indicated a problem with the oil tank so I am a little suspicious of the technician, especially since no mention was made about having an independent inspection of the oil tank done. However, I was trying to sell my home and decided it would be a good effort to have the tank replaced anyway. The tank was over 53 years old and certainly was not in the best state. Meenan does not do oil tank replacements themselves, instead they hire a subcontractor (Superior Tank & Energy). The service personnel arrived on-time and made fast work of the removal of the oil tank. No oil was spilled and no damage was done to my house. By mid-afternoon, they were done. The area was cleaned up and all piping in the basement was painted. The personnel were friendly and answered the several questions I had without appearing irritated. I was very happy with Superior Tank & Energy's work. I can't really rate the cost as I didn't get other estimates due to the time constraints imposed with selling my home. The bottom line: I wouldn't hesitate to contact Meenan for this work in the future but I would have liked to get some other estimates. I also would have liked to get an independent analysis of the oil tank to see if a replacement oil tank was actually needed. However, I suspect that even if the oil tank was ok, being that the oil tank was over 53 years old, it was due to be replaced soon and I rather replace the oil tank before a leak than have to worry about cleaning up an oil spill.

Meenan has been my furnace and air conditioning people forever. They have installed both my furnace and my central air. The technicians are all very helpful. The office staff is responsive. All work has been completed successfully, cleanly, and, when an emergency, quickly. My only complaint is that sometimes there is no one to answer the phones or if you're scheduling a regular appointment, it could be weeks before they can come to your home. But don't let that stop you from contacting them. I have never had bad service in 10+ years.

After responding very quickly, coming out the same day as the call, they resolved the issue quickly and at no additional cost to us since we're under annual contract.

They are local and they have been servicing this area forever so they are kind of a given. Their pricing per gallon for oil was the best at the time.

It’s okay. There’s an automatic delivery thing where they throw it up with whatever oil we need in the tank. I call them up on the phone to make arrangements. I agree on some sort of pricing arrangements and they put me on automatic delivery. I’ve had this arrangement with them for at least 3 years now. I’m pretty happy with them. The last time around, I agreed to pay a little bit more money to stay with them than one of those more locals so I guess I’m happy with them.

Many years ago, the service guy mouthed off to me. His boss showed up and we settled it. Their price was not good. In terms of what they deliver and the service of how they deliver, they're good.

I don’t think they belong to Angie’s List. We started out at one price and ended up at another which cost us a little upset. When I contracted with them to install the new heater, I asked if the chimney needed to be checked and they said yes and somebody would and he just kind of eyeballed it and he said it was okay and it turns out that after we got this new heater, the chimney leaked because it did need repair and it also needed a liner which they installed for free because we complained. After we had the chimney rebuilt and it was still leaking, they agreed a new liner and we felt we should have been warned this was a possibility at the offset so they installed the liner for free. I really didn’t like the installation crew. I think maybe they were doing this type of unit the first time and one of the men was actually spitting all over the basement when he was working which we didn’t really appreciate.
