GJC Electric LLC

I noticed a fishy smell coming from my outlet in bedroom. The outlet was hot to the touch. I put a claim in on America Home Shield. I was assigned GJC Electric. I called and spoke to Bree. She called Greg and hole said he would be out the next day in the morning. Greg came out at the time I was advised. He diagnosed the problem as the outlet was overheating and the wires were burned. He explained why I was smelling a fishy smell. He told My husband and I do not use space heaters on the same circuit that could be overheating the outlets. He replaced the outlet and wires and was done in about 20 minutes. I would highly recommend Greg and his company GJC Electric for all of your electrical needs.

Very bad experience with these people. A technician came after request made through American home shield. 5 issues were reported to him he confirms he would report all five to AHS but he reported only one which would no be covered. he was told not to report this. When called office . the person, named Bree, says she will call me back after getting more information,never calls me back this has happened 8 times. she once asked me to call American home shield and request recall however when ahs called her she'll tells them that she will call coustomer. Now I have to call from different number each time because she doesn't she doesn't pick up my phone. can see the response from the owner. 1 did AHS not call you today, why did you not explain this to them? 2. why would you report one thing that is not covered over other things which were covered. 3 why are you not picking my call or calling me back? why did you tell ahs that you will call me to set up appointment and you don't call me. 4. it has nothing to do with warranty as you said you would perform the examination again but don't respond to me or ahs. just schedule the examination and I will delete this review The Bree now picks call and tells me they are offended by my review. The owner calls me and asks me more money and tells me he doesn't care about reviews. An he tells me if I don't pay him or through ahs he will continue to be no responsive O h*** ....felts like talking to store with the owner.....things don't make sense here and they don't care

Service was excellent. Technician was courteous, professional, and honest in my opinion. Work was carried out efficiently. I have other electrical projects that I would like them to perform once I decide what materials I would like to use. Fairly charged for services rendered.

Top notch service. The crew arrived as fast as they could, diagnosed the (pretty major!) problem in minutes, and went to work right away. The price was absolutely fair. I would definitely trust them with any electrical work in my house moving forward.

Greg was great. Contacted GCJ electric in the morning about my problem, he was out later that evening to take a look at my problem. After about 25 minutes he had it fixed and power restored to my outlets. He was very courteous and answered a few questions that I had. He was very responsive and did the job quickly.

Called and scheduled a time to meet at the property and he never showed up. And I did pre-pay for this one.

Contractor came as scheduled. He did the work quickly and neatly. We are happy with the result.

They identified the problem and corrected

We were very pleased with every aspect of our working with GJC--so much so that when we had an electrical emergency caused by another tradesman, we called them in immediately. Everyone we've dealt with was very professional and personable.

I received a response to my phone message within an hour or so. We made arrangements for service later the same day. Mark and Blair called to advise they were on their way, as agreed. Both were extremely friendly, knowledgeable (and dog lovers!). The work was completed quickly and neatly. I was very pleased with the entire experience and would highly recommend GJC.

Great, they where punctual, clean and polite. The work was done in a condo so the had to provide proof of insurance to the management and did this before scheduling.

They did no know how to fix open circuit problem. They did not know how to find problem in circuit and they stated they would have to go through every circuit in the house. They stated that their boss would call. I never heard from him.
