Very badly could not come out for 2 weeks, finally came out the repairman was very elderly asked for 75.00 dollars deductible up front, diagnosed problem as faulty water pump had to order the part. After two weeks and several tries to get ahold of him finally got someone in and had not ordered the part. Another two weeks went by and finally made arrangements to repair. He was unable to repair it said he had to look on u-tube to see how he can get it repaired. He left part, I looked on u-tube and my wife over the weekend replaced the water pump and washer is running just fine. I called sears to cancel said not able bound by contract for one year has a 150.00 cancellation fee and cost of the repair-which I did. Since I was unable to cancel contract my refrigerator stopped cooling, again happen on the 15th of April not able to send anyone out till the 30th. I found out that my refrigerator had extended warranty still in effect called them able to send someone out on 26th. On the 26th the guy from Sears showed up first wife did not know he was from Sears, about 1/2 hour later LG called and repairman arrived and noted that the Sears repairman was connecting the compressor incorrectly. We asked the Sears repairman to leave and was very satisfied with the LG repairman. Moral of incident don't purchase home service companies hire substandard repair employees. If I am to get out of this service I would have to pay for both repair jobs including parts which was over 200.00 dollars and 150.00 dollars early termination fee.

Sears requires a payment in order to get an estimate. After I made the payment on my Sears CC, I called the local service rep multiple times. The repair man was unresponsive at first. He finally gave me the appointment, and 2 workers came by to look at the job on a Saturday morning. They were on time and seemed knowledgeable. I was told this is definitely an installation they could do, and that I could expect a quote from their boss, the owner the following week. It never came. I called the owner of the repair company, and I called Sears and Sears called the owner. got nothing. I never got a quote, let alone a return phone call. So I called the credit card company (Citibank/Sears) and filed a dispute, but then notified me that Sears would not be issuing a refund. I paid for a quote and got nothing.

I was not impressed with the service technician. Water behind my refrigerator was not from the refrigerator but from my dishwasher. He replaced my ice maker and that was all he did.

Horrible, the worst service ever!
Description of Work: I bought all new appliances from Sears 3.5 to 4 years ago, three of them died all at once. I had no dishwasher for two months, no washer for 3 weeks and no refrigerator or freezer in my kitchen for 5 weeks. ( I still don't have refrigerator or freezer) They sell you the master protection plan but when something breaks, they take 10 days to come and then they take another 10 days to come back with the part. They do not have enough man power. I would not recommend dealing with them. Most important, DO NOT EVER BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT. ( $3,500 refrigerator and freezer gone in 4 years)

VERY smoothly. The initial visit was promptly scheduled, the person arrived early in the 4-hour window that was given to us, he did a good analysis and ordered the needed part. The part was delivered promptly (sooner than predicted), and the second visit was scheduled for the next day. The new repair person arrived at he promised time (early in the window of time predicted), did the job, checked it out, and left. Both workers were very professional. They worked quietly and steadily, and cleaned up when they were done.
Description of Work: One repair person determined (om 12/18) that the main heating unit in the upper oven of a 2-oven wall-mount oven unit had failed, and ordered a new part. The part was delivered to us the next day, and another repair person came the next day (12/20) and installed the new heating unit. He verified that it worked.
