Description of Work: The mother board went out on my high efficiency water boiler. I called Dennis and he came out and figured out what was wrong and replaced the part as soon as it came in amid a busy time of the season. | I had to find a HAVAC person in the Pittsburgh area several years ago for a radiant heat system installed in the 1950's. Dennis is one of the few people in the area who specialized in this area. I had to call Uponor to find a person in the area. If I was in Seattle, California, Utah, or Colorado there are dozens of people who install this stuff. Pittsburgh is still into forced air heaters. When Dennis said he put solar panels on his roof 20 years ago I knew I had the right guy. Dennis is honest and not out to gouge you. he has a small business consisting of family working for him. I trust Dennis completely with my heating system. He is also one of the few dealers of high quality high efficacy boilers.

+ -1 moreExcellent! I'll call him for all my HVAC work forever. He services boilers, gas and electric equipment. I've passed his name along to friends.
Description of Work: I called to have A/C checked for the year and have coolant added. He came after his work day because I couldn't get home any sooner to let him in. He found a leak, corrected with a new connector. Then I had him check out the furnace. The air clearner has been broken for a good 20 yrs. and not repairable. He made it serviceable by replacing the filters with something more appropriate to do the job. All of this may seem like routine business, BUT I've had at least 5 different HVAC companies in there and no one else found the A/C leak nor did they have an inkling of a suitable substitute for the useless metal filters in a broken air cleaner. If I had known about Orient at the time Obama was offering a $1,500 rebate on new furnaces, I would have a new furnace and new A/C today. I just didn't trust any of the quotes I got from other vendors because I knew their installation was not according to code. I have yet to receive a bill, so I can't comment on the cost. I know I have working A/C, proper air filters for the furnace, and motor oiled. It's worth as much as the bill is!

+ -1 moreThey were great. I have an unusual heater and nobody knew how to take care of it but I finally found this guy who is trained in Munchkin heaters and knew what to do. He was here for a long time but he didn’t charge too much; I think the price was really reasonable.

+ -1 moreMy furnace went out on Thanksgiving Day and the owner came out within an hour of us calling him. Eventhough he doesn't normally work on the type of furnace we have, he was able to get it working. While he was there, he did maintenance on the unit, cleaning etc. We were very impressed with his promptness and professionalism. And eventhough this was a holiday/emergency visit, he did not over-charge us like some companies do for emergency visits. I would definitely recommend this company and would use them again.
