We interviewed a few people and felt this individual was very knowledgeable and interested in performing the work. We had a challenging job and others weren't up to the task. It started well as the install was done on time and at the price quoted. This is when it fell apart - the system never worked properly - they tried to adjust one or two times but then I assume grew frustrated that they could not make the system work. It was always difficult to get to the owner as the gatekeeper was highly unresponsive and always would say they tried to tell the owner and that he would get back to use. It got worse and worse. When we finally requested they remove the system since it never worked and they were not willing to work with us to get it to work ... they absolutely disappeared. No responses. Very unprofessional. Pursuing with attorney general but that will likely go nowhere. Buyer beware.

Did not install furnace to code which cause significant damage that required a new unit after seven years. A/C unit had a leak in it after one year. They refused to fix it and their solution was to recharge it at our expense. I had to replace this unit as well. Duct work was not connected properly and they refused to come out and inspect it. I had to complete the work myself. They were not my choice to do the work in the first place, but had to use them as part of the construction contract. I would have written a review sooner, but Angieslist wasn't around

Not well. I had to use them as part of a package with the builder. They took out an air cleaner that was supposed to stay. We noticed that the air flow was wrong and found upon inspection that a lot of the duct work was not attached. When we complained, they sent out a kid to inspect it. He didn't even have a roll of duct tape with him. I had to attach the duct work myself. The following summer we noticed that the air conditioning wasn't working. There was a leak in the system. Even though the unit was under warranty, they refused to fix it. Each year we had to have the system recharged. The final straw was on the coldest day of the year the furnace died. It turns out that they improperly installed the furnace not up to code. Water built up and shorted out the motherboard. Finally, we took advantage of a tax incentive and had a new system installed by a real professional. This happen a number of years ago, but recently friends told me that they are having similar problems.

Excellent. The technician went above and beyond and, as a result, the problem got fixed way quicker and probably cheaper than it would have anywhere else. I am basing this on second opinions I received at the time. The technician called the manufacturer, ran some tests, and ultimately made sure that the cost for parts was minimal, where other shops insisted the entire assembly would need replaced and said it would be backordered for weeks. Ultimately, my family (especially the baby) appreciated the diligence.

I called Coleman Mitchell to fix my air conditioning after the hottest weekend of the year. They were able to get someone out the very next morning to take a look. The technician, Thomas, was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, parts needed to be special ordered, so it took a couple of weeks to get things up and running. But Thomas was very responsive, and went far above and beyond to get things working. This included being in a sweltering attic during a thunderstorm reassembling everything! He called to follow up after his visits, and came back a final time to make adjustments to get things working perfectly for me. They worked with my home warranty company as well, getting prior approvals for everything so I would get the maximum reimbursement. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

I will give them A+ and will definitely use their service again and recommend them to my friends. My AC compressor didn't start. I called two different companies to check the problem before calling Coleman-Mitchell. Both the other 2 guys told me that I need a new compressor or an entire new system, which cost me ranging from $2,000 to 3500. I called different companies to get some quotes. C-M came back with the best price, so I decided to go with them. Matt, the technician, spoke with me before arrival. He said he would run some test and make sure if I need a new compressor. Guess what, he fixed AC within an hour. Matt just saved me $1,500. Thank you so much, Matt. C-M offers very good service and best price (trust me, I called 10 different companies to get quote for replacing compressor). I really appreciate their professionalism and honesty. The installers were professional and thorough with the entire process.

I called for an annual routine maintenance check on my air conditioner and requested the technician I always have do the maintenance. I was given a date and time of my choice. The technician called to let me know when he would arrive. He cleaned and checked the AC unit. He also installed a new, lower cost, but very efficient box filter on my furnace. I had coupons which he honored. He completed the entire maintenance in less than an hour. I use Coleman Mitchell for all of my maintenance. They also did a furnace replacement in 2012 and have been doing my semi-annual maintenance ever since. CM is an excellent and professional company. They are prompt, courteous and easy to deal with. I would not use any other company but Coleman Mitchell.

Randy came out quickly to provide a quote. It was a little high but not outrageous given that I was trying to get it done somewhat quickly (but not an emergency). They scheduled the work for the following week. There was a little mix up in the scheduled install time, and the guys ran a little late (~45 minutes) but they worked quickly, neatly, and were very friendly and professional. They discussed everything they did and cleaned up. It is clearly a well run, hard working company and I would contact them again.

Arrived on time, installed furnace with minimal issues. There was a product issue with the unit but they addressed it and fixed it in no time. I would definitely call them again for any furnace or a/c issue.

I received a phone call 30 minutes prior to arrival time of service person. I told him I may be at the bus stop when he arrives. He offered to come 15 minutes later. WOW was that nice! The service person explained everything he was doing and answered my questions regarding the furnace. He allowed my 4 year old to watch everything he was doing. Overall I'm extremely pleased with the Coleman Mitchell company. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

They were very friendly and courteous. Arrived on time. The technician was very thorough. He found the problem and fixed it. During the process he kept my husband up to speed with what he was doing and what needed needed repaired. I will use them again should I need their services.

I called, scheduled the service without delay and they arrived exactly when the said they would.

Two workman arrived around 8 AM and worked until 3 PM and introduced themselves to me.The old furnace and air conditioner were removed and replaced with new more energy efficient models. One worker replaced the furnace and the other the AC unit. They worked throughout the day with no formal lunch break. They even used a tent to cover the AC unit while working in the rain. All of my questions about the units were answered courteously. The older units were taken and discarded. Everything was cleaned up. All the work that I contracted for was completed. While carrying the old AC unit out, It fell and broke one of my side step slates. One of the workers removed it and bought and replaced it with a new slate at no charge to me. I appreciated their doing this. Then I had trouble with my garage door opener. Apparently, when they turned off the electricity to the furnace, it shut off my electric garage doot opener too so one of the workers opened it manually and forgot to return it once the electricity was turned on. I phoned the shop when I could not close it and one of the workers came back and explained what he did and fixed the garage door for me. The AC is working just fine. I will have to wait until cooler weather to test out the furnace. They told me I qualified for a rebate from Duquesne Light, which was a bonus. I was happy with the service provided to me.

We were very pleased with the service. They were reliable and we felt like we got great service. It went very well. I would recommend them to anyone.
