3 days later still haven't heard from the store

I was very pleased with their service. Their technician was knowledgeable, worked very quickly, diagnosed the problems, the parts were ordered and all repaired within the specified time frame. I had used another well known appliance store for past repairs and their service was abysmal. The technician appeared incompetent , they took over four months to attempt repair with ordering the wrong parts and the one component never was repaired properly. Jeff from Bridgeville Appliance correctly assessed the situation, ordered the right part and it was fixed in a matter of minutes literally. I will definitely use them again.

I needed a new fridge and delivered next day because we were leaving for vacation. I went to Bridgeville appliance. They helped me choose a new fridge. They were reasonably priced compared to the big stores out there and were able to deliver the next morning. Very nice and professional. The delivery/installation team was very conscientious, timely and made sure everything worked before they left.

Because I would want to shop around the price is what didn't turn out to be as well as I expected to be.

He charged per item and took apart my light switch for my kitchen ceiling light thinking it was connected to the disposal but it wasn't. He then told me that my electrical system was messed up and that I would need a new garbage disposal that he would be glad to sell me. I brought in an electrician that said my electrical system was fine and the electrician also fixed my disposal. I feel that Bridgeville Appliance was only interested in selling me a new disposal and that he did not know what he was doing with any repairs. I think that I wasted a lot of money on them.

I went with another repair company. I feel this company really should be categorized as only a sales company. The person I spoke to was more interested in selling me something new rather than helping get what I had repaired. Which this is great if you are looking for something new. If your goal is to keep another dryer out of the landfill and reuse what is still good, then look elsewhere. I also expected a more pleasant disposition of the scheduler as I was under the impression that since they advertised doing appliance repairs, that they wanted this business. Instead, advertising they do repairs seems to be a Marketing conduit to get people to purchase new appliances. Which again, is great if you are looking for a reason to buy new, yet frustrating if you are looking for an actual repair.

Friendly, professional, punctual and very quick at installing a new ice maker

It was a great experience. From the scheduler to the tech.... professional all the way. The tech arrived on time. Identified himself; was very friendly and courteous. Upon entering our home, without being asked to do so, he removed his shoes ( we have white carpeting). He made a quick diagnosis, had the parts with him and within an appropriate time frame had the igniter installed and the problem fixed. We highly recommend Bridgeville Appliance not only for excellent service, but also for appliance purchases. ( have purchased a refrigerator in the past). We feel their prices are fair and the quality and professionalism outstanding. Tom, the tech, is a real asset to Bridgeville Appliance

Were willing to look at my Microwave - many appliance people won't. I hadn't purchased the microwave from them and was contacted by them 3 days later. We set up an appointment and Jeff arrived right on time. He repaired the door switch and was done in a timely fashion. I was pleased especially because a microwave is low priced and you can easily be faced with the decision to repair or just buy a new one. I will use them again if needed.

Excellent service received for repair of my dishwasher. Part had to be ordered for a leak that was dripping through to basement. Repair man was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. Repair was made successfully and have had no problem since. Will use this company in the future.

Washer had bad tub bearing and cost to repair would have been more than the cost of a new one. The serviceman was friendly & knowledgeable. I found a Whirlpool Duet at Lowes but Bridgeville Appliance said they would match their price which Included set up and taking away old one. Delivery was on time and set up was quick & easy. Love this new washer. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

Our serviceman was excellent. A very personable man who had no problem diagnosing the problem and setting up the repairs. We recommend Bridgeville appliance if your dishwasher breaks.

They were right on time and made the necessary repairs on site. Very satisfied with service and also the technician was very professional and well trained.

I called them first on 12/26/2013. My refrigerator had stopped working. They came and fixed it on 12/31/2013. There was another problem and Tom saw it and said he would talk with his manager and get back to me. He had a plan and had to order some parts. He came and fixed it 1/23/2014 and did an excellent job. Tom was prompt, courteous and cleaned up after the work was done. I definitely will cal them again if I need to have an appliance repaired.

I called them on a Friday morning asking for service. They said that they'd have to pass my message to someone else who would call me back. I was expecting a call back later that day, however, we didn't get a call back until a week later, when we made the appointment. They didn't come until about 3-4 days later, and he said that he needed to order the part. The tech said it would take a couple of days. After 9 days, I called them asking about my valve. They acted surprised and said that the valve just came in that day and they would be coming out the next day. The tech fixed our fridge in the end, but overall, the experience was terrible. I should've heeded the previous Angie's List comments more closely.

I called the morning of 10/22/13 and spoke with a person who took all of the information about the service that was needed. I received a call back by Chris who was able to schedule the service later in the afternoon. She gave me a 2 hr window in which we could expect the repair person. She provided me with the name of the person to expect. Tom even arrived early which was greatly appreciated. He was very professional and completed the repair efficiently. Since my mother had wash hanging on a clothesline in the basement this dryer repair which was done the dame day was very much appreciated.

Ray told me if I were to get this repaired it would cost almost $400 and I might as well get a new refridgerator. He was very honest, has great customer service, always takes his time to answer any of my questions and I would recommend him to anyone.

Excellent. The repairman was very professional, focused and knowledgeable. He worked steadily and cleaned up after himself. Very polite and efficient.

We scheduled an appointment with Bridgeville Appliance Co on 7-17-2013. They said a service technician would show up between 10 am and 2 pm. My wife was out of town, so I took off to meet the service technician. They never showed or called to cancel/re-schedule the appointment. When we called to find out what happened, they said that their answering service had called the night before to cancel. I had received a call from a foreign speaking person with severely broken English in Connecticut the night before on my cell phone. After listening to the message several times, neither my wife or myself could understand it and assumed it was a telecommunication ad of some sort. So, I assumed this was the call that they had referred too. Very unprofessional and they did not even bother to reschedule. We will never call them again.

We were having our kitchen remodeled and the company doing the remodel recommended purchasing our dish washer and microwave from Bridgeville Appliance. It was a further drive for us but we were to go there to support a small business. We purchased these 2 appliances then went back a week later to pick them up. The kitchen remodeling company installed both the dish washer and microwave. Upon inspection of the dish washer, we found the the plastic stoppers which stop the top tray from coming all the way out were missing. I contacted Bridgeville Appliance to see if they had a set in stock that they could mail us. When I called and explained the problem, their only answer was "You have to call the manufacture" They did not offer another solution (such as taking them off another washer), did not give us the manufacture's number, or even offer an apology for the inconvenience. All the guy said was "You have to call the manufacture". I said "OK" and was about to ask for the manufacture's number but before I could, he hung up on me. I went and got the number off the manufacture's website and contacted them. The lady I spoke with was very nice and apologetic. She ordered the parts even over nighted the them for free. Too bad Brigeville Appliance doesn't provide the same quality of service to their customers that the manufacture provides. I will NEVER EVER buy another appliance from this place if this is how they treat customers. I will also never recommend them to others.

The only problem was with the manufacturer; there was very poor product information online. When I brought this to their attention, they said the dealer should be familiar with the content in the owner's manual. I thought that put the vendor in a difficult situation. I liked Bridgeville and I thought they were a decent group. They provided good delivery and they were good about helping me get everything working properly. Their prices were very competitive and they provided excellent service.
