Pointe Pest Control

Pointe has done a great job for several years at our 200+ yr old house. They are always polite and knowledgeable. Sincere was our technician today and he was wonderful. Highly recommend this company.

I used their coupon for the carpenter bee treatment. Excellent work. They also came back 2 weeks later for follow up and re-treatment of the areas with some activity.

I called Pointe to request service, but I am not in their service area. The person I spoke with on the phone was very friendly, and the were very help in referring me to another service provider.

While the company did their best to try to rectify the situation, they did not do as good a job as Ehrlich has done in the past. I realize my neighborhood has an ant issue, however, with Ehrlich, y yard was any free all summer. Today I unleashed an ant infestation and I was covered in ants while weeding.

The company respond quickly to my Angie's list request for a quote. I did remind them of the 5% discount for Angie members. The amount quoted was then lowered. I really appreciated how the representative took time to check with his manager to ensure I was given the lower amount. I received a call to set up the appointment but I didn't answer right away because I did not recognize the caller. I returned the call but the person answering did not have information about who had called me. However, the person who I have first been in contacted got in touch with me and all issues were resolved. The invoice bill did arrive in the mail and the wrong amount was written. But the person who I was communicating via Angie list made sure everything was corrected. This should me that the company will take steps to make sure their customers are treated with the most highly respect and professionalism. Orlando called before he came and was very pleasant and professional. He was extremely knowledgeable about the hornets. He explained about the difference kinds and their behavior habits. Hopefully, the hornets will not come back and if they do I will not hesitate to hire Pointe Pest control again.

We have used them for years and are pleased. We had one problem with ants last year which they successfully treated.

The first time a tech can put for the bees he was here for a total of 17 minutes and left a very simple and I detailed note about his work. I called and asked to speak with the tech about what was done and his response was that he put some repellent spray down but couldn't find any nests to take care of. He claimed that the 17 minutes was plenty of time to search and spray. Then when I asked him to come back to look and service again when I was home in a few days he put me on the schedule for four days later. It rained that day and no one came out or called. Now 14 days later I am calling again because I have found the nests myself and they say they can't come out for another 3 days. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told they had left for the day. Let's see if I get a call back tomorrow as promised

They came out within a couple of days - they evaluated the situation, they got rid of the ants on the first try. I did sign up for a service contract. They come out every quarter to spray around the exterior. They do call before every visit to make sure there are no additional issues.

I was very satisfied with their prompt response. They started with conservative remedies. They proceeded with more aggressive approaches as necessary until the nest was destroyed. In the meantime, I have used their quarterly maintenance program to keep my woodland environment under control, with good success.

All of their techniques work. They're friendly and professional we continue to use them on a routine basis.

Well. We have a monthly service from them to check for pests around the outside. If we have any problems inside, they will take care of them too. They recently started a termite service too and just used that - the prevention injection treatment around the outside of the house.

It hasn't gone well. The customer service is horrible, the woman I spoke to acted as if I was bothering her day by calling in to lodge a complaint . . . she is in customer service . . . isn't that her job? She took no responsibility for any part of the company other than the conversation, which she didn't want to have with me. She simply stated that the sales rep shouldn't have guaranteed that my property would be free of ticks, when I stated that there was a training issue with their sales force her reply was maybe. When I complained about communication she said she didn't control that, about the service - not her problem. It was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had in my entire 47 years on this planet. She absolutely made up my mind that I would never use this company again. Please she was just plain rude.

Their customer service is extremely responsive.

All of a sudden, we've been experiencing a problem with moths. I emailed Pointe Pest Control on a Tuesday. Aaron called within a couple of hours and made arrangements to come out on Thursday. He was on time and did an extremely thorough walk through of our house, closets, cabinets, even looked at the collars of my jackets, and couldn't find an infestation. He explained what to look for in case we do have an infestation at some future point. He didn't charge for this service. He was professional and pleasant and, if we do end up with an infestation at some later time, I will definitely call him back.

I've been quite happy with them. I have been doing business with them for several years. I was talking to one of their reps and he said they are on Angie's List so I looked them up and see what other people had to say. I had water problems which kind of started all of these various services because I had to recreate drainage areas and shore up my foundation, relandscape all across the top of the course because it was all dug up, take down the deck so that they could shore up the foundation under the deck in the house that was why the deck was down and had to be replaced, etc. One of the byproducts of that was a couple of sink holes. One of which turned out to have been taken over by a particularly nasty type of wasp that built their nest inside the sink hole which of course we didn't know until we disturbed the sink hole and tried to fill it in. We found out really fast. Fortunately, nobody got stung. It turned out that because the wasp probably built their nest in the side of the sink hole rather than down in the bottom because that's how they do it. We couldn't figure out once it was filled in which we filled it in before we realized the problem we had. The wasps came digging back out again and we couldn't kill them because we didn't know exactly where the nest was to get the insecticide into the nest. It was quite a challenge. They had to come out about 3 times before they got a special permit to use a especially toxic insecticide that isn't generally permitted in residential areas to kill the wasps because the normal stuff just wasn't working because we didn't really manage to get it into the nest. It was not routine because I had an emergency when I realized what was going on. I was really happy with how persistent they were and conscientious, and how they tried to do the least poisoning they could do and still take care of the problem. It turned out that the least poisoning was not a successful option but they certainly were out here 3 or 4 times trying to figure out and had to get a special permit to use what they finally used. They tried not to use it to the best of their ability and finally we all agreed that we needed something stronger. I was just really impressed with how determined and conscientious they were to solve my problem without poisoning my property. It was a very fair price.

We live in Chester Springs near open fields and get field mice who like to come into our warm home as the nights start to get cooler. We had another company come out in the past and every year, their service went down and their price was high. Pointe Pest is competitive plus their technician, Carl, was very professional and confident about how to manage our rodent problem. He gave advice on a few things he didn't have to share.
