They were very professional. When they came into the house, they put booties on. They were very pleasant. They explained everything to me about what they were going to do.

Tech arrived promptly at the beginning of the agreed upon time frame Came in and explained exactly what would be happening in that treatment Explained again price for treatment and when to expect following services (these were well explained when we signed up) Ask to have me show the house so no area needing treatment would be overlooked Knocked down 6 wasp nests under construction When finished tech reported what had been done on the exterior of the house and in yard She was very polite, efficient and knowledgeable. I was impressed when she put on disposable shoes covers before she entered the house. I have had many different companies handling the pest control for the homes I have owned. Never before has any of them had the tech cover their shoes to protect the floors of the house they were treating! This was a first treatment. I give them high marks. I will report how well I think they are doing with the following treatments.

Joe arrived on time and asked for specific problems, if any. He told me what he would treat for. We discussed and assessed the needs for the season and he completed the work in an efficient manner.

I've been using them for a couple of years now. What happened is, this house isn't that old, it's only twenty years old, but under the front door foyer area, it had little carpenter ants that made a little nest in there, unwanted guests! And so I had professionals come out and do it. They did their job, and now they come as maintenance every three months they are fantastic, they are great, they are professional, they always knock when they're leaving, I have no problems with them. They will come out in between if you see. I saw more (ants) around the garage, and they came out and sprayed the area just to make sure. What I like is just the professionalism and then, not having any problems with bugs! They actually have solved the problem, but they'll come if you have any problems again.

The team of two showed up about one hour early. They were very professional and completed the job on time.

I have mixed feelings about Pointe. First and foremost I had to come in and revise the original review from May 2013 because on Pointe's first visit, they hand over their Angie's list form and make you fill it out in front of them, AND they do not allow you to mail it but insist that they will mail it for you. (At least my technician did) It makes it difficult to be honest with your review as they are watching you fill it out, taking it unsealed and mailing it themselves. Completely unprofessional in my opinion. I purposely joined Angie's list to give an accurate account of my experience. They came to my neighborhood of 130+ houses to offer their services where they lock in deal prices with each house depending on the issues. Most of us have similar if not the same issues, and we all talk. So while the sales guy (who I will say was very knowledgeable) locked me in at $120 each for the 5 yearly services, I found out that afternoon he locked in my neighbor at $89 for the 5 yearly services and when we compared notes, we had the exact same issues. We also found out a few neighbors were being charged even higher than that. When the technician arrived to do my service a few days later I spoke to him about this and he tried to convince me to that I was getting a deal, but I would not let him start until I called the office and spoke to them. They told me that although my neighbor was getting the same services she was given a better price because she was switching from another provider, which while I can understand it certainly doesn't seem fair that my price was higher, and other neighbors were yet even higher. For 130 houses EVERYONE should be offered the same price. When the man on the phone (I believe he was the manager or owner, and he was very nice and helpful) asked me to put the technician on so he could tell him to rewrite a new billing contract and they hung up, the technician got very angry/offensive, asking me why I had to go and call when he told me I was getting a deal, and that he gets paid a percentage of each time he sprays so now it wasn't even worth it to him to do the job. Angry at this point but still trying to be polite, I asked him "would you pay $20 more 5 times over the course of a year for the same service that your neighbor was getting for less?" I would like to point out that he was training someone at this time and in my opinion, setting a very bad example. Throughout the rest of the visit throughout my house he made several inappropriate remarks regarding the size of my house, the cost of it compared to his, etc. There were more. I politely informed him that we work very hard, and had just moved into the larger house after my husband and I sold our two very smaller houses. Why I felt the need to justify my 2900 sq ft home that my husband and I saved to buy I don't know, but I he made me feel guilty as if I were living in a 10000 sq ft home that I didn't deserve. I felt very uncomfortable and was extremely happy when he left. With that being said I am locked into a contract for the 5 yearly services and I pray every time I do not get the same person again (although it is possible because he said he had been there a long time.) I haven't yet. The time after I got the young kid he trained, and yesterday I got another gentleman who was my favorite so far- friendly, polite and professional and seemingly very knowledgeable. So with all of that said, I do have mixed feelings. I think the forcing of a positive review upon first visit is wrong if they insist on watching you fill it out and taking it with them. If they were to just hand the review to the customer and ask them to do it I would be okay with that. The way the technician did it leads me to believe there may be positive reviews on here that may not have been positive. I did have issues about the pricing but it was immediately corrected for me, although my neighbors who tried to get it corrected after their first service could not, and although the first technician was completely inappropriate and made me very uncomfortable, all those following have been very friendly and professional.

I don't have any interaction with them-which is fine with me. I get a phone call a day or two before they come, they spray the outside of the house, leave a bill & then they leave.
