DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I had a small drain leak under my kitchen sink. I needed a small section and a tee removed and replaced. It was cast iron, so I was worried about cracking the pipe if I cut it myself. They quoted me ~$6,500. You didn't misread that. Over $6k. ~$3,500 of it was to do the repair. ~$1,500 was because of "limited access" so he could temporarily move the garbage disposal. You know, that extended 30 second job of turning the locking ring. ~$1,500 was to cut a larger hole in the cabinet. The tech literally told us we would save ~$1,500 if I cut a bigger hole myself. And that didn't include making a panel to put back over it. We were on our own for that. Was this real life? I was absolutely speechless. And then they had the nerve to CHARGE us $50 for that nonsense quote! I called someone else and paid <$500 to do the whole thing! This cannot seriously be a successful business model. Don't waste your time even calling these people. You'll just pay $50 to laugh them out the door.

My elderly parents had a leaky kitchen faucent. They send a tech out who charges them $900+ to replace a basic faucet. Not only did they violate them on the price, they did not reattach their water filter which is needed. The tech claimed to no have the correct parts. Companies who abuse the elederly for being naive should be put out of business.

I called to have an upflush toilet repaired. The tech sent was rude and talked down to me. He said he couldn't do anything because I needed a specialist for that type of toilet. He wanted to send someone else out days later to evaluate it and then they would have to come a third time to fix it.

DO NOT USE!!! How can a place charge over 900.00 in labor for a 20 minute job? The parts alone only cost 30.00 at most. Technician was pleasant and all but to be charged 900 in labor is insane. They should be ashamed. Especially to take advantage of the elderly. Horrible!

I woke up to a leaking hot water heater and a mess in the basement. In the past I have professionally installed water heaters, so I started to find one and see who could help me change it. A neighbor said they had used Len's and were very happy with the service. So I called, they dispatched Leo Martelli. He called and told me he was on his way and arrived when he said he would. He provided and estimate, which was fair and proceeded to go and get what he needed to do the job. Leo and his brother came back and got started. They used non slip mats on my hardwood floors and within a couple of hours had my old heater out and my new heater in. Like I said, I used to do this professionally, these guys were super professional. The work was very well done, the piping and valves were plumb and level and the work was clean. The cleaned up and the only trace was that I had a new heater where the old one had been. I would recommend Len's to anyone, they are great. But I would really like to say that Leo and Sal (?) were some of the best contractors I have ever had do work for me.

Do not use! Will stand you up. Very disappointed. I scheduled an appointment, which was fairly easy to get a next day, three hour time block. I called in the morning to confirm the appointment because the text confirmation they sent had contained an incorrect date and misspelled name. Half an hour before the end of my time window, Len the Plumber called to cancel the appointment! They said too many emergency calls had occurred and could they come out the next day? But, what was to prevent the same thing happening again? Nothing.

I called this company to have someone come out and check my hot water heater because my faucets and showers were running cold. They sent 2 men out who were here for a total of 10 minutes. The issue turned out to be that the outlet the unit was plugged into had been tripped from a storm and needed to be reset. One of the men reset the outlet and the other checked to see that the hot water was working on the bathroom faucet. No work had to be completed. They charged $272. When I called the company that same day to inquire what the charges were for, I left a message and waited 4 days for a call back. On the 4th day, I called again and left another message before my call was finally returned. After explaining everything, they did refund some of the cost but I still ended up paying way too much. While I agree that I should pay something, it should've been the $49 charge that was explained when I booked the appointment for having them come to the residence. I will never use this company again and I suggest finding another plumber who isn't overcharging customers for no work.

Bad bad company. Tried to take advantage of my sister by demanding $600 to fix a $300 toilet. The costs of the valve and flap would have been $35 dollars. When I told him he was trying to scam her her hung up.
I couldn’t be more happy with the repair. From the first initial visit for drain blockage to finding out my sewer pipe culapsed to the replacement of the 45 foot section. With a team of three guys who worked 9 to 3 from digging outside and saving my sidewalk, so I didn’t need to have my sidewalk replaced, to the 6 foot trench they need to dug in my crawl space. They pulled a 45 foot pipe from my crawl space out to the street. That was so amazing to watch. These guys cleaned up both areas and cemented my basement from the trench the dug to filling in the hole outside and putting all the dirt back and putting the old sidewalk back. I just need to put grass seed down. They even hand washed my pasement floor from all the work they did. I asked if they do windows only to find out they don’t. They did a great job. These guys were great. My neighbors stopped by to watch the job and we’re amazed by the great job they did. I’m sure Len the Plumber will be getting more calls if anyone has sewer issues.

Len the Plummer is a total ripoff. They take advantage of people even their Technician told us they Drastically Overcharge their Customers. The value of the work he did was $250 dollars and he charged us $751.00. He didn’t finish the job correctly said he had to leave immediately to go to another client instead he sat in his van on our property for 1 1/2 hours before he left. We called The office finally called us back 3 days later said they would look into it and get back to us never heard back from them. I would never recommend Len the Plummer to anyone. Just don’t call.

DON'T USE THEM! Ended up costing me over $8. was told I needed to replace the sewer pipe from my foundation out to the street. Very sketchy from the start where the tech needed to go to his vehicle to get pricing from office.Supposedly there was too much water in the line to see any other damage. the repair was completed. I now have a terribly sunken front walk way and very uneven front lawn due to poor repacking of the 10' trench they dug for the install. Which their contract states they do not finish the front lawn and settling is likely. I don't think 15" is settling, It seems it will be costing me another 2k or so to fix the front lawn. I will be positing this complaint where ever I can. They won't even call me back to discuss. Don't use them!

The technician was great as far as timeliness, appearance, and was very polite and well-spoken. My issue was not with the plumber, but with the business practice. We experienced a broken sewer pipe in our basement, and when the technician went to look at the job, said he needed to speak with his manager first, to come back to me with “options.” When the technician returned from his truck, he gave me three price points of $5,900, to just replace the sewer pipe and tie all lines back in, $6,900 to replace the sewer line and replace half of the feed lines, and $10,900 to replace every line. We only needed the sewer pipe fixed or replaced. The remaining lines are actually in good condition. I thanked the technician for his time, and said we’d like to get a second opinion, because it’s a lot of money and we need to do our due diligence. The technician looked at me, and said, tell me what you want. Talk to me. So I said our ceiling is $2,000, to which he then said he’d go back out to his truck and see if he could get his manager to come down in price. At this point, I wasn’t sure if I was getting plumbing work done, or buying a car. When the technician returned, his manager had dropped each price by $2,000. The technician continued to pressure us into taking the new deal; if we wanted a second opinion and later decided to go with Len the Plumber, the reduced rate would not be offered. We wound up calling another plumber who came by, looked at the problem, temporarily patched the pipe, and will be back out to replace just the sewer pipe for a fraction of Len the Plumber’s lowest reduced price. Not to say I wouldn’t recommend this company, but homeowners really need to be aware and don’t be pressured into anything you don’t feel right about.

When i called they said $49 fee to come out. They arrived a few hours later. We said my husband snaked the drain 3'. The service rep did the same thing. Then he said it would be $316 but can't promise anything for the guy with the camera. Camera guy was scheduled 8 am the next day. The following day at 8:12 they called and said he can't make it. Then they called and said 11 more days they will be out and it will cost $3500.00 to RIP OUT ALL MY BOTTOM CABINETS AND THE NEW TILE FLOOR we just did the week before they came out. We told them no way. I called to cancel services. I then called another plumber who snaked from the roof down and he was done in 10 minutes and my drain was clear. $267.00. I did receive a refund 2 weeks later from Len The Plumber. I was VERY unhappy with the services.

Plummer arrived later than stated time. This was a bad water leak that ruined my kitchen, dining and living room floors. The Plummer stated that he knew a good water restoration and cleaning company. Not only does the water restoration guy show up but a public adjuster, that I didn’t call! I was charged over $400.00 to replace the line from the refrigerator to the waterline! My sister needed a new water heater.....Water heater installed. When she came home, water heater leaked all over her rec room! Then, the same thing happened to her! Len the Plummer rep Suggested a water restoration company (same one they suggested to me! When they showed up...they brought the public adjuster with them! Same one that showed up to my house! What a set up these guys have!!!! Beware of Len the Plummer if you have a leak!!! No paperwork was given to me, not even a receipt! Glad I have my cancelled check. Will never use them again!

Len was supposed to arrive between 8-12pm and were to call 30 minutes prior to let me know they are on the way. When i didn't hear from anyone by 11:30 i made a call and was told they got delayed but will be there very soon. Finally at 12:45 I called back and was told they could come out the next day between 8-12. Forget it, I told them. I had 2 other plumbers call me because they saw I had called in to Angie's List. I called one of them and they took care of the problem.

Our plumber did a reasonable job for what I think was a straightforward problem, but it seemed awfully expensive. And I think he was trying to oversell unnecessary services. After checking the sink, he said we needed to have the drain pipes cut out and replaced. He only agreed to snake the drain after we asked for it. The snake fixed the clog, and we didn't need the pipe replacement that he wanted to do. And he showed up late.

Plumber arrived to clear the shower drain. Told my disabled daughter who lives alone that her mobile home had "illegal pipes" which needed to be replaced and wanted to charge her $1,565! My daughter declined this up-sell, so the plumber then proceeded to remove the drain trap, clear the clog and charge my daughter $485! I've called several times in an attempt to speak with a supervisor and have left multiple messages, all of which have gone unreturned! RIP OFF!!!
