Guida Door & Window

Guida not only provided a great price, they were extremely professional. I have an odd-size door, with plaster walls surrounding it. The house was built in the 1930's. Other contractors wanted to charge more and could not guaranteee that the installation would not impact the walls. Guida did an excellent job! The door looks great, it has a perfect seal, and there are no issues! They were timely, kept everything clean, and were in and out in no time. It was a great value for the service, I highly recommend them and would use them again if I needed.

I contacted Guida because I needed a new storm door for the front of my house. The door is broken and will not close properly. I am hoping to move in less than two years and did not want to get an expensive door. They contacted me in a very timely manner to set up an appointment for the estimate. They scheduled at my convenience and arrived at exactly when scheduled for the estimate. I was familiar with the door supplier that Guida sold and installed. It was apparent that the product was of quality. Although the estimate was very reasonable, unfortunately is was more than what my budget would have allowed. The communication with this company was really above average. The gentlemen who arrived to give the estimate was extremely knowledgeable and polite. I am not use to this kind of service from a contractor. Once I can afford to move, I will be using Guida for upgrades in my next house. Thank you for your attentiveness and honesty.

Guide provided and installed a steel door in a secondary inside entryway. A former owner of this building had previously removed the door. This caused a lot of energy loss and expense. I was hoping and was not disappointed (THANK YOU GUIDA!!!) that the return of the door would provide energy conservation and cost savings. All Guida personnel performed in a very courteous, expert, friendly and professional manner. They were genuinely interested in meeting my expectations and they did. I selected Guida based on Angie's List reviews and I am very satisfied.

Sales rep (forgot name) came out on time + gave demonstration of windows company offers, but pricing was way too high for 3 windows, 2 wins sized 21 X 53, 1 win 31 X 77 = 1480.00

First I will say that the quality of the doors I purchased was excellent. Ian the installer, was a real professional at his job as well. I purchased a steel entry door with a dark wood look. Because I live in the city I needed a peep hole and mail slot. I will say that I went to numerous show rooms, including Pella, and nobody matched the quality of the doors these guys make. I also bought a new storm door. These guys do a quality job from production, to properly insulating, and installing. I have seen numerous hack jobs in my neighborhood. Guida doors are secure and hard to be kicked in. My entire first floor seems warmer and is more energy efficient with this upgrade. My only issue was that it took over 3 months to get the door made and installed. Other than what I considered a long delay from order to installation, I am satisfied with the doors. Better communication from sales and production would have made the experience better in that regard. Their prices may be higher than some big box stores and other local competitors, but you get what you pay for. I'm sure this door will last a long time, as it is steel and the frame a high tech weather resistant material. I don't think you can put a price on knowing your door won't be kicked off the frame, and the curb appeal and energy savings are a bonus.

Did like the product and the fact made in the USA and guarantee. However, Salesman made promises he couldn't keep. He promised to be present on installation "To oversee the job"....No salesman at installation. Red Flags went up. Owner called. Owner stated salesman couldn't be able to be present on installation. We as customers could not understand how such a miscommunication could be committed. Still need a triple patio door replacement. Will NOT go to Guida because of this. Owner did offer a consolation $50. visa pre-paid card.

The sales team is very professional. The installation was challenging. In the end Guida apologized and made it right.

Sales person came to house and provided an excellent product review. We would have choose Guida but their costs was a little higher than another vendor who was also able to install much quicker. However Guida was my first choice, but they couldn't install for two months, due to my schedule it would have never worked.

When the installer came, he didn't have all the windows so he had to take a second day of work. He broke some of the shingles on our siding. The finish was horrible and some things were left undone. We had to contact the owner and they sent another person. This person took two more days to fix what the first installer left behind. It wasn't the best experience initially but they fixed it in the end.

My decision to select GUIDA came from various factors, not the least of which included a better warranty and overall better independent replacement window ratings. Bob Hural, GUIDAs sales consultant, gave the most professional/thorough in-house presentation, answering all our questions in detail. Unlike others, he was able to provide an estimate before leaving our home. Joe and his installation crew were great. Professional,efficient, and informative, excellent clean-up. All around nice guys. GUIDAs main office also maintained contact prior to my final decision in a non-overbearing,customer focused manner. Overall a pleasant experience and a quality product. I highly recommend GUIDA.

Guida was very easy to work with. We initially called to get a quote for a new front door, and the sales rep was out within the week. I believe it was Joe, though I'm not 100% sure. He spent about an hour talking to us about the company history, the insulation technology they use in their doors, and then the pricing/options. We were impressed by the pricing, and we felt like he was pretty up front with us about the discounts he was able to provide for us. We decided to get a few more quotes to compare though, since every salesman is supposed to make you feel like they're giving you a great deal. Within a week, we had gotten two more quotes. Guida was able to beat the other quotes both on pricing and the quality of the door offered - the insulation around the edges of their doors is significantly better than the competition we saw. We called Guida back to confirm, and a week or 2 later the salesman came back out to finalize the purchase. This was around the first week of May, and he said the door would be ready for installation towards the end of June. The door was actually installed the first week of July. Installation took about 3 hours, was done quickly and relatively quietly. Other than the sound of the power tools, we hardly knew the installer was here while watching TV in just the next room. Everything was completely cleaned up and the installation looked great. I have no complaints and would recommend Guida to anybody looking to have a door installed. The only reason I didn't give them A's across the board was because the door took a week or 2 longer than they anticipated to be ready for installation.

We went with them because of previous experiences from all that they did. They're fairly easy to work with.

The salesman was very clear and addressed all of my concerns. As the doors were being made the office staff communicated with me regarding my order. The two gentleman that installed the doors were courteous, clean and efficient and made sure the installation was done properly. I'm very satisfied with the quality of the doors and the service Guida has provided.

The Guida representative was extremely professional, and made you feel like you were getting the absolute best available. I wouldn't hesitate to use them if their prices were slightly lower.

My husband mostly dealt with them so I honestly cannot remember the cost of the service. They were very professional and they got the work done quickly. We also liked the final product.

They arrived in time and finished the work nicely in few hours. I liked their professionalism and the job.

The folks at Guida were very prompt and professional in setting up our initial estimate appointment. We met with Bob Hural. Bob showed us windows replacement options (vinyl windows), entry doors (Guida manufactured) and storm doors (Provia manufactured). Bob was absolutely terrific and he wrote us an estimate for the entire job during the time we met - approximately 2 hours. The estimate for the vinyl windows, entry door and storm doors was very competitive. After meeting with Bob, we decided that a vinyl window replacement was not in keeping with our 1938 constructed colonial home. We asked Bob if Guida had a wood window product and they did. We met with Bob at the Show room in Boothwyn. There we worked with Bob and Ron Lomonaco. Both men listened to our concerns and were able to get an estimate on a wood product. Unfortunately once we had customized the wood window to meet our needs, we also priced it beyond our budget. I would not hesitate to recommend Guida to any friends looking at windows or doors. They are courteous, prompt and professional. This is a business who is doing things the right way and takes pride in its products and workmanship. Thank you Bob, Ron and the whole Guida family!

It was very expensive. Price wise they were the highest. The work was to my satisfaction. There were a couple of problems that I felt could have been better. I have a warranty on it. There is a gap between the entrance door which causes air to get in. They had a problem putting the door up. They were prompt. I like the door. They were really professional. I wouldn't use them again because of the price.

After deciding that we needed a security storm door for our front entrance, I looked on Angie's list and selected a few local companies with showrooms to visit. We began with Guida, visited their showroom on 12/5/2013, fell in love with a door on display, and went nowhere else. Ron Lomonaco, Director of Sales, was a pleasure to talk with, answered all of our questions, and helped us make some decisions about color, type of handle, etc. Bob, the installer, came to our house within the week, made all the measurements, and came back on 1/15/14 to install our custom-built door, within the time frame we had been told to expect . He did a very good job installing the door and explaining how everything worked and could be adjusted. The door's grillwork is beautifully rendered and is a real work of art with textured graphite paint. The steel frame and grillwork are very strong and substantial, answering our security needs while allowing our large, south-facing front door to remain open and our foyer to be bathed in the light of day. Although the price of the door was much higher than we had intended to spend, you really do get what you pay for from Guida, and we are well-satisfied with the investment, the quality and beauty of the product, and the service.

Quality of work was excellent. The period between ordering and installation was a little longer than we wanted, primarily because the door had to custom made. All personnel were professional and courteous.

We drove from Marlton to Marcus Hook Pa after reading all of the good reviews for Guida. It was so worth it! Steve Sperduto spoke with us in the showroom & showed us so many gorgeous doors and storm doors. We made our choice (which wasn't easy since they were all gorgeous). We had to submit a picture and request to our HOA and once we got the ok Steve came to our home with samples of the color we selected & we gave him half of cost. Next Mike Chambers called to come and measure. Then Mike called us the week before Thanksgiving and said the doors were ready but he was booked Thanksgiving week, which was fine with us as we were too. We picked monday December 2nd. Steve said he'd be at our home between 9:30 - 10:00 AM, he called en-route to say he was running a little late (a few minutes). He arrived and set to work. He was here until 5PM!!!! He took off the existing storm & entry door, he took off all of the woodwork. He made sure everything was PERFECT. He took the old doors away as we had requested. He demonstrated the locks & the rolling screen in our storm door. We'd had a solid door and got no light before. We chose a door with the top half leaded glass & we are getting gorgeous light. A neighbor stopped to tell us how gorgeous our front entry is & we said Steve Sperfuto at Guida in Marcus Hook is the guy to see. We don't feel any drafts, and it looks just so gorgeous. Next time we need doors or windows we know where we will go.

After extensive research and numerous quotes we decided to purchase 20+ windows and doors from Guida. What sold me on Guida was my interactions with Ron (salesman) and the quality of their products. Once I made the decision and my windows and doors were installed I can honestly say that we are extremely pleased with our purchase. Process: Sales - Ron walked me through the different products and options along with the pros and cons for each. He was pleasant, courteous, and ensured that we were well informed. Once we signed the contract with Guida Ron continued to followup with me to ensure we were aware of the status of our order and ETA. Installation - The next phase was the installation process which also went very well. The work crews were timely, clean and very nice people. The work was excellent and we are very happy to come home to new windows and doors without any mess in the house. Overall: The purchase of our windows and doors was a very important decision since it is a substantial financial investment, and we feel we made a great choice with Guida. The transition from 40 year old single pane windows to the new triple pane Elements window is not even comparable. The reduction in noise and the easy of use (opening and cleaning) is wonderful, and the elimination of the draft coming from the windows is also great. Can't wait for spring to come so that we can open them up. Thank you.
