Excellent service. I needed my water heater replaced. They were able to do same day service on Saturday. Work was professional. The technician was knowledgeable and friendly. The cost of service was as quoted over the phone.

My wife and I were in a bind when our old, 40 gal, gas water heater cracked on Saturday night of memorial day weekend. Knowing we needed a full replacement, we called multiple vendors before contacting Steve at Water Heater Express. Steve picked up his phone, asked a couple of relevant questions and got us scheduled for a replacement to be installed 3 hours later! Fortunate for us, he keeps the equipment in-stock, so our weekend install was not a problem. All the other installers we called were not able to get equipment because their supply houses were closed. The technician, Jeff, arrived at our house in Northwest Philly on-time. He went over our current setup and some additional options we had to improve our current gas and water lines as well as detect any future issues. Jeff was diligent in his explanations and very knowledgeable about his trade. He also didn't mind me looking over his shoulder and provided me with some instructions and tips for doing work on our plumbing lines. He took care when draining the current heater and was kind and courteous throughout the installation. Install took a couple hours and we had hot shower in time to go our for dinner with our family. I would 100% recommend Water Heater Express to anyone in need of a water heater installation. The entire experience was positive and they were very punctual! Randall

My experience was so horrific with this company, I don't know where to start. I still feel like I was in a movie, a horror movie at that. I called Water heater Express and spoke to the owner Steve. Steve asked me to measure my water heater. I thought it strange that he did not send someone to do the measuring and check the situation. I am a disabled senior, but I did the best I could. He informed me that since my water heater was leaking at the top, he could come out that evening. He sent his employee to my home. His name was Jeff. He came in right away stating certain things were not in code. I was quoted 650.00 on the phone, his total was 800.00 plus . I stated to him that it would have been better for me if I would have known that it would lead up to close to 1,000.00 . He became very belligerent, offensive and disrespectful. He stated well if you had let us know that you needed a shut off value, and that your exhaust pipe was rusted , we would have been able to give you a better estimate, he said that he did not have the exhaust pipe part and would have to see if Hime Depot had it, and would have to call his boss to determine the charge for the part and installation , and stated that if they don't have the part he would still have to charge me for his time and travel to Home Depot. I was not pleased and told him that I am not a plumber and had no ideal I needed a shut off value,, and no ideal that my exhaust pipe was rotted. He unbelievably stated to me that I could have put my hand up there to see that the pipe was rusted. I was very offended and called his boss, and reported his rudeness. After speaking with Steve, he did not bother to talk with Jeff. Jeff continued his rudeness towards me, so much that I informed him that he must leave my house, and I would get someone else to replace the exhaust pipe. He broke one of the values relating to my wading and refused to replace that. As a final insult, called me a liar. I have never experienced such unprofessional ism and disrespect in my own home.

They were very prompt in responding. They guy who did the installation was sick but he still did it anyway. He did the repair and he put out something back. He was sick and I remembered that he did something else that we did not know but we found out that he fixed something. He took all the appointments and he was very responsive.

They responded to our call almost immediately and got us on their schedule very quickly. They were clean, efficient, and had the work done in one morning. We are very satisfied with them.

Everything went well, and we had no problems with the service.

Called around 9 after discovering the leak and Steve said they would be there that day and provided a two hour time window. Jeff showed up right on time and had the old water heater out and replaced in less than two hours. Steve also called back later in the day to make sure everything was OK and that the service was as expected. Great job guys!

My husband calledat about noon to report that we had a leaky water heater (which he had just discovered). Despite the holidays, Water Heater Express was able to obtain and install the replacement heater we needed that evening. The installer managed to keep our finished basement clean even thought he had to cross our very muddy yard and did a very professional job with the installation.

I had a good experience with this company. My installer was named Ronnie. He called before he came. He was on timeand finished up in an hour. He was polite, efficient and professional. I would definitely refer Water Heater Express again.

He did a good job. He knew what he was doing and he was prompt and things like that. I would recommend him. I spent $800 and that included the water heater, a pan, an alarm, a new valve and a new breaker. I would use him again in the future.

The Sunday after Thanksgiving around 10am, my husband discovered a "flood" in the basement. It was, in fact, the hot water heater. I immediately called my regular plumber who was not able to come until Monday morning, This was not good enough for us. I then called my HVAC folks who said they would page someone. So, I started calling "hot water heater" listings on Angies list. Steve Manno was the first live person I got. We lucked out! He was patient, responsive, courteous, knowledgeable and fairly priced. My husband (who has very high standards) describes him as clever, great problem solver, consientious and absolutely the right guy for the job. To be specific: He calmly explained the issues to me as I called several times with questions before I decided to hire him (meanwhile the others I had initally called, returned my calls but we still decided to use Steve.). Not only did he know his "stuff" but he was able to explain it to a total lay person so I was able to understand. Even thought it was a Sunday on a holiday weekend, he told me he'd be there an hour after I gave him the "go ahead". He arrived promptly and got right to work. He listened to our concerns and gave us options to address all of them. After the job was completed, he spent a few minutes giving me tips on more cost effective ways to use hot water heaters. He also raised (and explained) other issues that impact water bills and how they can be addressed. Before leaving he asked if there was anything else he needed to do. I appreciated that. It allowed me to review and "approve" what he did rather than him just running out the door. He took the old Hot Water Heater with him. While I hope not to need another hot water heated in at least 10 years, I would certainly use him again and recommend him to friends and neighbors.

After finding that our 6-year water heaters needed to be replaced every 6 or 7 years, we decided to get a 12 years warranty on a water heater. My 2 sons assisted me in dragging home a Whirlpool 50 gallon 12 year model from Lowes. I contacted a few plumbers to get installation prices and a few told me to stay away from Whirlpool. A friend at work told me that his brother owns Water Heater Express and praised his work and I gave them a call. The owner, Steve Masso, spoke to me on the phone for about 15 minutes and persauded me to go with a GE 12 year warranty gas water heater from Home Depot. This one came with a lifetime parts and labor warranty which was exactly what we were looking for. For a nominal fee, he returned the one that we purchased to Lowes and brought us one from Home Depot with the lifetime warranty. The price for the Home Depot model with a lifetime guarantee was about the same as the one from Lowes with a 12 year warranty. When he installed the hot water heater, he showed us where some of the connections had rotted away and he suggested that we place a an aluminum drain pain under the new water heater so that any runoffs will be directed toward our drain and not into our basement. He also suggested a water alarm similar to a smoke alarm for a very nominal sum. He completed the work with all the connections in a few hours. He told us that if we ever need service on the heater, we can contact him and he will arrange for Home Depot to come out and service it promptly. Overall, it was a great experience. His prices were much better than other quotes and since he specializes in water heaters, he has rather extensive knowledge of water heaters and related matters.
