They're really good. I have nothing to compare the pricing to, I have never done something similar before. I was really satisfied with them. They're extremely professional and very courteous. I wasn't at the site at that time I just spoke to the guy on the phone.

Very well. We discovered our water heater had a major leak. This was a Sunday and we were without hot water. Steve was there in about an hour. Reconnecting the new water heater was more complicated than expected but Steve was very professional and stayed longer than anticipated to get the job done correctly. I was concerned because our situation was so desperate that we might be taken advantage of but the overall price was very reasonable. We have no complaints at all about the service and highly recommend Water Heater Express

I called at 11:00 AM, and by 1:45 PM the water heater was installed and running . Steve was professional and competent. He was careful when moving things and left the place very clean. He was also very personable and helpful.

At the end of the day on a Friday, I realized my water heater had a slow leak coming from the pressure valve. I don't know how water heater was leaking but enough to make puddles on my basement floor. I started to panic as I thought I wouldn't be able to find a company to come out after 5 on a Friday. I called Water Heater Express and Steve answered the phone. We discussed the cost of the visit at that time and if I waited until Monday. I wanted the water heater fixed right away. Steve arrived at my house within 30-45 mins and fixed my water heater. It cost me $225 for the immediate call, $28 for the broken valve and then I purchased a water sensor for another $35. He instructed me to put a water bottle under the pipe in case it leaks again and then to put the new water sensor right next to it so I will be aware of an issue if it occurs int he future. He was able to fix the issue very quickly and was very accommodating. I would definitely use him again.

I called Steve in the morning, completely panicking that our hot water heater had broken and was in the process of flooding our basement. Over the phone, Steve told me where to turn off the water valve and told me he would be out within a couple of hours to install a new unit. Steve was running a bit behind schedule and called to tell me his new ETA. I was really happy that he kept the lines of communication open. The price quoted for the job was $1495 but the gas line had been installed incorrectly by the builder so that had to be fixed. He also suggested adding a pan underneath the new heater. The job ended up costing $500 over what we were quoted but, obviously, if something needs to be fixed, I want it done right. I did not feel that he was trying to "sell" me additional items. I think he just wanted to do the job properly. My husband watched them completing the job and everything Steve said made sense to us. Steve recommended that we purchase a couple of things (like a water censor) and a couple other things to prevent this from happening in the future. I would definitely use Water Heater Express and highly recommend this company.

After 12 good years of use, the old water heater died. After making several phone calls to other service vendors, Steve at Water Heater Express was the only one to answer his phone when I first called. He was able to confirm that he had a water heater (a power-vented, 50-gallon, LP heater) and he could come the next day to replace the old one. Exactly what you'd hope for in this situation. Steve told me to expect a noon arrival, but after realizing he would not make it by then, he called me at 10:45 to say that he'd arrive closer to 1pm. That was very professional as I have not had anyone call me that far in advance to say they'll arrive later than expected. And he called again when he was about 10 minutes away, giving me a chance to get our dogs in a safe place instead of trying to corral them when he arrived. Once he arrived, he went straight to work. It took less than 2 hours even after having to add piping/re-route pipes from the new heater to our existing gas and venting lines. He thoroughly explained what expansion tanks do as well as the pros & cons of keeping the existing one vs. replacing it. Steve also saw that the existing water barrier (designed to prevent water from leaking into the finished part of the basement when released from the heater) was ineffective as it did not stop a small amount of water from leaking through. He suggested a simple, inexpensive alternative. The final cost was exactly as promised - no additional fees for adding piping - and he left the area as clean as as found it. I would use Steve again if I had to (hopefully we get another 12 years out of this one!) and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable hot water heater repair/replacement service.

I only needed a new power vented gas water heater, however when Steve came and inspected my current one, he was concerned with the original set up as there were some things that probably should not have passed inspection when the original tank was installed. Asked if i knew about expansion tanks, asked if I understand the gas valve, etc. Steve walked me through everything prior to doing any of the work. He was very thorough, responsive and just a genuinely professional contractor. I would highly recommend Steve and Water Heater Express for your water heater needs.

Very pleased with the work performed. Heater was in a tight corner of the basement and ceiling is low. The new heater is taller and wider, so most of the piping/venting required rework. Steve was professional and area was left clean. I would recommend this contractor to friends and family

Steve was extremely knowledgeable, professional, responsive, friendly, punctual, fair, and nice. I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Our old water heater buckled and was leaking a stream of water. We needed a same day replacement and Steve came through. We called him in the early afternoon and he was here within hours. We called another provider and they were going to keep us waiting up to 3 days. Steve's prices were fair. He explained what he was doing and why. And he even went over and beyond by answering all of my questions (I knew nothing about plumbing or water heaters). Finally, above the fact that Steve obviously knows his stuff, he's a really nice guy which is always a breath of fresh air. We were laughing while he worked. I HIGHLY recommend Steve and Water Heater Express.

Quality of craftsmanship was excellent with a great warranty. The tech, Steven, was very responsive and answered all of the questions I asked.

Well...tech courteous...did try to sell me drain pan & new gauge at beginning of service call though! Power hand cart may have left marks on step carpeting...am waiting a day to see if just temporary shading...this is the only reason I replied no yo using company again.

I am very pleased with the work that was done. I called Monday morning and they were able to come out in the afternoon to install the hot water tank. He arrived a little later than expected but he called prior to the appointment time and informed us he would be a little late. The price was a little more than what was quoted over the phone, because he noted some parts were out dated. Overall I am very satisfied with the work that was done and I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

I called Hot Water Heater Express at approx. 9:30 pm on a Saturday evening because our hot water heater had stopped working. Because he hot water heater was over 20 years old, and because we had already been having some occasional intermittent problems with not enough hot water, we decided on the phone to do a replacement, rather than investing in diagnose and repairing our old one. A service technician was at our house at 6 am Sunday morning and he quickly replaced our old unit with a new Rheem of the same size. The technician tested the water pressure and inspected the old current installation to determine if any upgrades were needed. He recommended replacing the old "washer" type shutoff valve with a "lever/ball" type shutoff valve, which I agreed to because I have had problems with other old "washer" type shutoff valves in my house and I always replace them with new "lever/ball" type when there is the opportunity. All the work was done without leaving behind a bit of dirt or scuffing to walls. Our hot water heater is in our basement, so the new one had to be brought into the house, down our basement stairs, and then the old one had to be taken out the same way. The technician had a power hand truck that was able to climb stairs our descend stairs, with the technician guiding it. The technician was expert at what he did, informative, and professional.

Well, this is not a good experience. First of all, when I mentioned to Steve the ads from Angie's list that he has a $750 for 50 gallon installed, he said the price on Angie's list was wrong. He asked for $825. He said, u either take it or go find other providers. So my question was, what's the point of running promotion ads on Angie's list and what the point of being an Angie's list customer??? Plus, there are a lot of hidden charge in his company's service. He said $825. However, the final cost was $1351. SO Be AWARE!!!! Second, when I saw the invoice after the work was done, I realized that in September, my wife used his company to change a water heater of our rental property too. I asked his technician if we should get a return customer discount. His technician said of course. However, when his technician called him. He said he recognized me at the beginning and already gave me the discount, which was absurd and not honest at all. My wife doesn't have the same last name as me and when she called the service using her number, I was in another country, and the service was done on another property. How could he recognize me with my number and new address and already gave me the return customer discount???? Even his technician can't believe it! I don't think the owner is a honest person! He just took advantage of the situation. However, I have to say that the technician was polite and professional. My bad review was based on his hidden price and dishonesty.

Replaced Hot water heater the day after a flood in my basement after a terrible storm. Great Service. Arrived when they said they would.

I have not heard from this Service Provider and it's now the third day. I have attempted to contact him by phone regarding scheduling, but am unable to reach them and voicemail is full so I'm unable to leave message. I am cancelling the Big Deal and getting a refund.
