Contacted Don in August 2015 and he came out promptly and provided a quote. I entered into a contract with him and paid 50% down. I was not in a hurry to have it done and he provided a winter discount and said it would be installed by March 31, 2016. Over the winter I contacted him a few times about the start date which he indicated would be mid-March. Whenever I contacted him, either by phone or email, he got back to me very promptly. He was the most responsive contractor I have ever dealt with. He started the day he promised and had a whole team on my house and got the job done very efficiently. I am very happy with the results and had no problems during or after installation. Don is very professional and I enjoyed working with him and would highly recommend him.

After starting the siding project three months late, and Don, the owner, was given 50% up front per his request, the crew was consistently late, worked half days and were very unprofessional. The project manager, Don, would show up for short periods of time in the morning (no more than 20 minutes) and then leave. The crew did not know what they were doing. There are visible nails in the aluminum fascia also siding that was installed unevenly at the corners, You can see seams from both sides when looking at the house this should not happen. siding wasn't nailed right as per the instructions on the box also made very poor cuts of aluminum capping and over lapped it wrong. They never cleaned up after themselves and left food out I have had three other contractors look at the job and they have confirmed that the siding was done wrong and will have to come down and the project will have to be started over. I have photos of the work and will attach them to this review. As per company's response, project was inspected by product manufacturer. Manufacturer states in writing, unsatisfactory and inproper installation as per manufacturer installation guidelines. Manufacturer also confirmed poor miter cuts and uneven joints also improper and excessive overlap, improper clearance into receiver, this installation was no where near industry standards. i took don verge to court and won after showing all the facts and proof of all the bad work him and his company provided to me, but he ignored the judgment from the court as I haven't received anything back from Pocono home exteriors or don verge he does not stand behind his company that's very bad business, facts are facts does the company have a response now

The job went very well. Don Verge, the owner, came over to the house and met with me ahead of time; he gave me an estimate (I had gotten 3 estimates and his was the most reasonable). He was able to do everything I wanted including installing the gutter system on the house. The work was done in a timely fashion. Don took care of getting all of the permits. He even purchased two carbon monoxide detectors for me when the agency issuing the permits required them. He did not charge me for this. I do not live in this home since it is a vacation home, so I truly appreciated that Don kept me up to date on what was happening on the job. When we ran into a few rainy days, he always let me know when they would be resuming work. I could not have asked for a more attentive and professional contractor

Don arrived on time. He was very professional, listened carefully to our requests, and provided a detailed estimate for the 2nd story, 12' x 12' addition. I had 2 other estimates and all were within $1,000 of each other which I find reassuring. I did not choose Pocono Home Exteriors only because one of the other estimates was from a builder many of my neighbors used and highly recommended. I would not hesitate to use Pocono Home Exteriors in the future.

Don Verge, the contractor, was at the site everyday first thing in the morning to assure all is going well and we were happy. He dealt with the zoning board to get all the permits needed and was here for every inspection to handle things personally. The start of the project was delayed by 2 weeks because of weather. Don quoted a 6 week construction time from start to finish and held to that even when we caused a week delay with concrete work we decided to do after construction started. Don held to his quoted price. We did have one additional cost for work that we added when we asked him to put in a drain field to help eliminate water problems in the basement. The sub-contractors he used were also very professional. No cigarette butts, cursing or unpleasant behavior. The job they did was just what we expected. I talk with the zoning inspector and she was very pleased with our contractor as well. She was impressed with how fast the work was being done and how well it was performed. Issues: Hurricane Sandy blew off 5 shingles from the addition roof. Don sent out the roofer 2 days later and it was fixed at no cost. The drywall tape in the cathedral ceiling is separating. Don is sending someone out to fix it at no cost and this is something that happened 3-5 months after construction was completed. During the February heavy blast of rain from the east, the bay window leaked. Don is also having that fixed at no cost. All in all, I have recommended Pocono Home Exteriors to many people. Any other work we might do in the future, I will contact them. They are an excellent company.

Work began on July 24th and concluded on July 31st and would have been done even more quickly if it hadn't been for rain. The crew was on time each day, worked hard, and did a professional job in removing the old porch/deck and installing a new one. The owner, Don Verge, was thorough and timely in bird-dogging all the paperwork and clearances, and the township inspector fully approved their work when he came by for the final inspection. It couldn't have gone better and we were entirely happy with the final product.

We were very pleased with them. We picked the highest quality siding to use. There were three men doing the work and they completed the job in a short amount of time. They were prompt and worked two and a half days. We were happy with the way it turned out. They also cleaned up everything and took it with them. It was a very hot time of the year and they did not complain. They were very professional. The siding they removed was called Cedar Shake and we replaced it with Cedar Shake but it was a little different. The process of how they make it is more expensive than regular plain straight siding and it has a unique look about it. It almost looks like real Cedar Shake pieces. It is very attractive. The product also has a color guarantee. The siding we had previously faded like crazy. The new siding looks better and it's going to last longer. When that super storm Sandy came through some of the flashing came off and they came out the next day and replaced it. We found them through another service organization and not Angie's List.

The whole outside of our house was removed and replaced with new materials. Professional job from start to end.

The project went very well, impeded only by periodic rain. Taking that into account, the work began on schedule and ended on schedule. All work met and even exceeded code. Minor fixes that had to be done once the deck seasoned a bit were attended to quickly. Both of the Verges are conscientious and professional contractors.

They arrived 7am and worked diligently. The second day we noticed a yellow jacket ground nest and called Ehrilch Pest Control. They responded within 1 hour. There was no delay and they continued to work to completion. These guys are awesome.

They are known for siding. They're not finished yet. It going to wind up being $65,000. They did an estimate. They haven't done any work yet. They will be doing the work. It will not be started until June. It should be done in August. They're very professional to work with. They are very creative people and are not afraid to put out suggestions and things of that nature which is really good. A lot of people don't do that. We've found that with a lot of contractors that we've gotten information from. They don't do that. You say I want this and even though they don't think it's the right thing to do, they'll say okay. He said you really need to live with that and they've been very good that way. They've been very good. They've only given us the estimate so far and have done no work. I will use them again in the future.
