 + 0 moreI think it went very well. All the guys providing service were very professional and respectful to my home. They left NO MESS, and the system was fully functional after the second day of install. I was a little disappointed that it took a week before install could begin, but other companies that would've started within days were several thousand dollars more expensive, so it was definitely worth the wait! (Plus, mid-June was pretty hot, so I'm sure their services were in high-demand.) Michael C Wall Inc does their own sheetmetal work, so they don't have to send off for custom sizes, and they advertise as specialists in air purifiers. (Therefore, I included them in allergy -and- metal fabrication. They do a lot of commercial/industrial work too.)
Description of Work: Complete overhaul of my AC and furnace system, including the refurbishing of ductwork and relocation of intake and exhaust ventilation. A problem with my attic fan motor was also diagnosed and replaced. George Douglass answered my initial call and was able to visit my home within the hour. He took his time to examine my system and later provided me with a thorough (free) estimate with several options to meet my AC needs. Along with a more compact and energy efficient system, I got an easily programable thermostat to aid with energy conservation. I'm sure this will increase the resale value of my home as well. George was knowledgeable about several state, federal, and utility company grants (as well as product rebates and low interest financing options) and displayed all of those in his estimate: More than $2500.00 in tax credits, grants, and rebates! (My money spent is estimated after most of the savings would be applied, and the interest rate on my loan is only 5.99%)
