GESKE CONSTRUCTION

His name is Robert Geske. He did a good job. His son realigned all of the spokes of the fence. People don't like when I tell them that something is crooked and needs to be straightened out. It ended up costing me quite a lot to finish the work. My fence was a very simple fence made out of treated wood and this was the third company that had to come and work on it. What I didn't like was that after he gave me a price, he started crying that he was losing on this job. He said he wasn't making any money and it was taking too long to do the work. It wasn't my fault because he gave me a price and I accepted it. He wanted $200 more and I told him I would split the difference and I paid him an extra $100. That sort of soured me on getting him for anything else. I did get an estimate from him on repointing my chimney and he wanted $1,500 and I thought it was overpriced. I would hire him conditionally if I really felt he could do the job and the price was right.

He came to the house the same day that we contacted him through Angies List & never recontacted us again. No phone call or email to say he could do the job or not. Obviously he did not need or want our business. It would have been nice if he would have at least had the courtesy to let us know.
