When they came back, the rugs were ruined. The colors ran, even though I paid for a service called "color fast" that guaranteed the colors wouldn?t run. The owner, Mark, made an appointment to come out to assess the problem. It was not this man who came out. He sent out the same employee who had done the cleaning! Full of excuses. I had accepted a treatment, at his suggestion, called pet urine removal treatment (PURT), even though I wasn?t sure that it had been pet urine. I did have a 6-month-old puppy in the house. The puppy did spill his water bowl on the carpet and I reasoned that it made sense to treat for that in case their was urine in the rug. There was no color running at that time the puppy spilled his water, and the rug had plastic over it at the time. The ChemDry emplyoee's name was Steve; he and another employee named Jon took the rugs away, and the rugs did not have the above-cited damage at that point. The owner said he'd seen the damage but didn't know it had gotten there, but Steve said the owner would say "circumstances beyond our control." He blamed the discoloration on how I had stored them, but I was not warned about how to store them before they left with the rugs or at anytime whatsoever. Also, of the larger rug, the central medallion is suppose to be ivory; but wherever ivory appears it is now yellow. Regarding the smaller rug, the ruby red ground color had run into the stylized white flowers in the border and it turned them pink. The owner said I signed a waiver on receipt. This is not true. On the back of the receipt there were a series of waivers to sign or initial, but I had not signed or initialed any of them. My signature only appears on the front of the invoice where I say I understand the charges or fees for the cleaning and treating of the rugs. The owner told me he'd been in business for a long time, but when I had asked if he was insured for the damage, which my rugs had sustained, his reply was as follows: "You could go to jail for insurance fraud for asking." My impression was that he was trying to scare me. I felt this was a threat intending to scare; I find it unacceptable, unprofessional, and outrageous!

Filled out a request for appointment online and received an email stating it was scheduled for the following week and I would receive a call from company within 24 hours to confirm. No one ever called and when I called to check, they had no record of the appointment.

They did a really good job on all of it; especially the carpet. I would use them again any time; very reasonable cost.

THE GUY WHO CAME TO THE HOUSE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE WAS ONE OF THE TRAINERS, SO HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT. DID A GOOD JOB.
