No one ever called me to arrange to install the gas line.

I received a solicitation on my monthly gas bill for an energy audit. I called and spoke with a rep to schedule. They were not ready with their software, so it would be a few weeks before they could schedule. They did call back and schedule a day in early March. Two technicians showed up to do the audit. I was the 1st home they were doing with the new software. They were here for almost 3 1/2 hrs conducting a number of items. I paid the $150 fee and was told I would receive the report in 2 weeks. I waited for the 2 weeks and received nothing, I called the company and was told it would be another week to 10 days to receive the report. It’s now a month and nothing.

Ed of UGI was prompt, professional, proficient, polite, and friendly. He diagnosed the problem, and replaced the defective meter quickly. Soon it was warm and comfy again in our home.

They do the checks for free. Mostly safety checks. Making sure there's no leaks anywhere. They do really well. They are punctual and show up on time. If they say they will be there at a certain time, they are there.

The technician called before he showed up. They are really good! We have a contract with them. They service 3 times a year, and there is no service charge. You can call them 24/7, and there is always someone there. They have the best deal around.

Was an easy fix (no major issues besides age) and the unit is (surprisingly!) still operational after 18-years!

I?ve had them since I moved in here for my air conditioning and heating system. I?ve been here for 2 ? years. The only problem was them diagnosing the exact problem, it took them 4 or 5 times that they came out before they figured out what was wrong. I have a contract with them, so it basically didn?t cost me anything even if they came 10 times. They came right away and they were concerned about trying to figure out what was wrong. It was an intermittent problem, so that was the reason they couldn?t figure it out completely. With the service contract, it didn?t really cost me anything more.

They’re not the cheapest, but they do it correctly. The workers were excellent.

What a waste of time, they came and promised to provide a quote within a week. Weeks passed by, nothing. Suggest to go with someone more reputable.

Estimator came out quickly, was very personable, and could schedule my install appointment a few weeks later right then and there. When the tech came out he was polite, efficient, and very quick. Overall I was very happy with the service and would recommend them to others if the price is competitive with another company.

I have a contract with them. It took them quite a few times, but I think they finally fixed the problem that I had with my heating unit. Everybody was polite and caring. It took 5 or 6 visits for them to figure out what the problem was. I think and hope so the issue is resolved. My overall experience was very good. The quality was okay.

They were professional and on time. They cared about our house and put down tarps and stuff to walk on. They did an excellent job on the installation and were helpful in explaining how the system worked. They went over all the components that they installed. From what I can tell, they did a neat job. They had to break a window to vent to the outside. They didn't clean up the broken glass on the outside of the house, but it was probably just an oversight.

Everything went well. We are very satisfied with the installation and looking forward to saving money on heating bills!

They arrived on time. Responded with 3 personnel. They removed the old freon immediately and removed the outside and inside unit. It was hot and humid, but they did not complain. The attic is no place for a human in this heat. They prepared the site for the new air handler, installed it quickly and had the system up and cooling in no time. A slight problem arose after they left at 6 PM in the evening, and they sent a very gracious and professional technician and in fact the installation supervisor responded, after hours! They had the system running again, and found a faulty part was the problem, not their fault. The next day they came back to see if the system was working correctly and even cleaned the area of the install more and they did not have to, they gave 110%. I use and would use UGI for all my heating, cooling needs, they are excellent.

It went very well; no issues; provided recommendations on filters and completed job professionally.

They are always and time and available. The price is affordable. I will continue using them.

I called UGI based on the positive review seen here on Angie's List. I was looking to get a price to connect my new gas stove - i.e., run a hose from the manifold through the floor and into my appliance. I was told by 'Tom' that it would cost $89 to come out to review the project. Cost after that would depend on the situation and materials - which makes sense. But the idea that I would pay someone $89 to come out and then be forced to accept the cost because of the $89 already committed was ludicrously funny. Someone at UGI should evaluate their estimate procedure as they've definitely lost this customer from even considering their business.
