The Cleaning Authority - Lehigh Valley

Horrible the company came out for three scheduled cleanings, two out of the three cleanings they had to come back and re clean since the job was not done right. I hired another cleaning person and when she was hired she discovered the cleaning authority had been sweeping the dirt under my throw rug instead of actually cleaning.

The cleaning people use at my house went into the drawers and took prescription drugs - at least on two occasions that we can tell. We ended up counting the pills before they came and then was able to conclude they took them when counting again right after they left. Police were called and a report was given. The owner was called and I had to ask for a refund she did NOT even offer when told of what happened -- do not trust the people she has working for her!

I called the national number, and they took about a week to set us up with the walkthrough appointment. The local office sent a representative to do the walkthrough/estimate, and all I can say is..wow. The lady they sent was both arrogant and aggressive. We are easy going people and not even picky about detail; we just want someone to have our home cleaned on a basic level. We had a regular person for the last four years who is now retiring, and never had trouble. This lady out-and-out picked a fight with my wife, and I don't even understand why? I did my best to keep my wife and this lady calm, and kept things light with a smile to no avail, this woman just made us feel very uncomfortable to even allow her into our home. I am sorry, but this is unacceptable and unprofessional. For the record, I did call the national office and gave feedback directly.

We have used Cleaning Authority for years. They bring their own supplies, and my house does not smell like chemicals when they leave--it just smells clean. Office staff is extremely helpful and professional. Punctuality is sometimes an issue, but when brought to the managers attention, it is addressed. They rotate the areas of detailed cleaning, and I truly have no complaints with their service.

It is very good. They are very efficient. They are always on time and they do a nice job. When I started with them I talked to the owner and she explained how she operates the business. Although it is not personalized, she has a team and she has some people come out and inspect on occasion. It is consistently good. I started using them in October or November of last year. They are reliable and do a good job. It is a consistent operation.

They do a good job. They arrive on time, verify what they have planned and if that works for me. They are thorough and organized and have all the equipment they need. I would certainly recommend them.

Have been using the Cleaning Authority for 6 months now and am thrilled! They come once a month and clean with attention to detail. They even make my bed! Couldn't be happier.

They only get to about half of the things on their list, but on the items they do get to they do a good job.

I got a call back within 24 hours. Met with Doreen at the house and she provided an estimate. She was very accomodating and professional. SOmeone comes and checks the work that is done by employees. Employees asked questions or provided information as needed. Worked proficiently and steadily---finished in less time than I expected based on how much there was to do. They charge by the minute, so you pay only for the actual time spent. They missed the back stairs, but it was understandable as the door was closed, the real estate agent had come and was measuring rooms so it got a little chaotic at the end. They cleaned 16 areas well.

The initial contact was through their email: tcalv@rcn.com. To schedule them for routine cleaning, they will start with the detailed cleaning then come back and rotate through different sections of the house.
