+ 2 moreDave demonstrated his custom approach from the start during his initial consultation with at our home. He was the only cabinet builder (of the 4 we consulted) who was interested in working with us to "blend" new cabinets with the existing walnut cabinets, which were 40 years old. Other cabinet makers wanted only to eliminate the existing cabinets and build all-new (with lesser quality materials and at 4-5 times the price). Dave kept us in the loop on the process, was prompt in returning calls, made return trips as necessary for measurements, review of progress, to show us material samples, etc, and was patient with changes in our plans as the other work in our kitchen came together. The quality of the work was exceptional. When our friends and neighbors visit they first comment that we got all new cabinets. When we ask them to pick out the new ones from the existing ones, they can't do it. We are so happy that we were not only able to keep the beautiful walnut cabinets, but that Dave was able to match the style, stain and look for an overall WOW look.
Description of Work: Kitchen cabinets: 1) Concept/Design consultation to blend new with existing cabinets, 2) built additional cabinets including stand-alone corner cabinet, wall-oven and gas range cabinets, 3) modified existing cabinets with crown molding and trim, new hardware 4) built range-hood cover, 5) custom-stain and finish to match existing American Walnut cabinets.
