Mr Rooter Plumbing of Lehigh Valley

On a Sunday afternoon, we discovered a leak coming thru our basement ceiling below the mail level's powder room. My husband mounted a new towel bar a few days earlier & suspected the leak may have been caused by accidentally drilling into pipe behind the wall. We called Agentis(having satisfactorily used them in the past) Sunday evening and got a return phone call first thing Monday morning, as they said we would. The plumber--Jason, who had done repairs here previously-- arrived a few minutes prior to the given time range, and promptly verified our suspicion to be correct--my husband unknowingly hit the sewer pipe behind drywall. The repair involved shutting off water to house, empty lines, cutting approx.14x21" hole to access the pipe, remove old, damaged pipe & install new section. The repair took approx. 2 hours and cost $310 ($340 less $30 Angie's list coupon) and has a 1-year warranty. I was kept informed every step of the way and the leak appears to be fixed. The drywall is a straight cut and worksite was left clean afterward. We would recommend and use this company again.

The plumber was ten minutes late. He left a large amount of semi-solid grease pooled under the kitchen sink and on the floor in front of the sink. This was a major slipping hazard; it's lucky no one slipped and fell. The worse part? The smell! I had to spend 90 minutes cleaning up the mess he left and trying to get rid of the horrific odor. $160 for this and 20 minutes of work? I won't use this company again.

Awesome. I found a leak in the bathroom that I was redoing and I called Mr. Rooter (found on Angie's List) and they came out the same day, free estimate. Jason was professional and very informative. I didn't need a new toilet, just a tank, but decided to replace the entire thing. He helped us choose the right one and coordinated the delivery with the floor work that needed to be done. Jeff came out the next day and replaced part of the subfloor and took off the old tile. He also put down the tile I bought. The bathroom was completeiy transformed. Jeff was very professional and took care to keep everything in our home just so. He cleaned the area up so thoroughly--I was very impressed.

I am a property manager for our churh parsonage and on Sunday the pastor told me the bathtub drain was running very slow - leaving standing water in the tub after a shower. I planned to look at in Monday morning but before I got there she called and said that when she ran the water in the sink it came up in the tub and then I decided this was a job for a professional. I had a magnet advertisement for Mr. Rooter on my refrigerator so I called them. The woman that answered the phone was very professional, took down the information and explained the process. As soon as someone became available they would call me, meet me at the parsonage, inspect the problem and provide me with a price. At that point I could accept and have the work done or decline and there would be no charge. The Mr. Rooter serviceman called within an hour and met me at the parsonage about 15 minutes later. Checked everything out and told me what he believed to be the problem and the cost to snake the drain would be $160.00. I told him my magnetic ad had a $40.00 off coupon and he said he would honor it. He removed the drain trap, ran the snake down and remove the clog. Put everything back together, cleaned up and wiped everything down with a disenfectant. Very plesent, very professional, very respectful and really knew what he was doing. I will not hesitate to call them again if I need them.

They showed me the problem, gave me a good estimate and walked me through the steps for what I'd need. They were easily accessible and worked with my schedule too. They were timely, cooperative and did what they needed to do. They were kind to me as a single woman of color – I was surprised. I would definitely recommend or refer them to others. It could have been an overwhelming experience but it was pleasant - I'm glad it's fixed!

I'd give them "A's"' across the board and I would also use them again in the future.

I made a call to Mr. Rooter on Wednesday afternoon and by Thursday morning they were in my house making the repairs. I had an outside spigot that would not shut off and had that replaced with a new one. We also added a shut off valve to that line and another to a spigot at the front of the house. We also decided to have the bathroom shower snaked to get rid of a slow drain. Bret was very professional, thorough and friendly. I would not hesitate to call on them again.

The guy worked hard in 90 degree heat and high humidity. He seemed to appreciate the fact that I gave him a few bottles of water. After several attempts, he was able to clear my main sewer line. He then ran the camera through to make sure it was in good shape. Based on my research, the price was reasonable, and he honored the Angie's list coupon. He was very pleasant and professional. I would use them again.

Called for an appointment & was given the option of that same day or the next day. Because I was going to be buying the bathroom replacement parts ( new handle, shower head & tub drain) I asked for the next day. Was called the next morning as to when they would be arriving & Jason arrived as stated. He was very patient as I explained what the issues were & presented a few options as to how to gain access to the shower pipes. Quoted me a price and even arranged for another person to deliver a necessary part so that the job would be able to be started & finished on the same day. Jason spent several hours working on the two jobs & was very polite & professional -he was very concerned about getting as little tile dust as possible in the house because he had to cut into a tile wall & used plastic & towels to keep the area clean. I was very pleased with the end result - cost wise ( I was given $40 off the bill ) & the professionalism Jason exhibited. I would be very happy to recommend this company to anyone who needs plumbing work done

Great! Dave was exactly on time, his work was quick, he cleaned up after himself, and was good to deal with. He explained that I didn't really need to replace the washing machine hoses, but I wanted it done. I'll definitely use them again.

Had to go onto roof, through a crawl space and in the basement to stop the leak. Had to cut into bathroom drywall behind the toilet in hopes of finding the leak. They did a good job, were neat and cleaned up after completion. Very professional.

I called in the morning because of a foul odor coming from our bathroom sink which we tried to resolve ourselves,but no luck.We had used Mr. Rooter a few years ago,so we were familiar with thier work.Mark came out that afternoon & spotted the problem right away.Improperly installed plumbing,,,,,there was no trap! He told me he could fix it right away & that should resolve the issue.He went to work right away & was finished in less than 1 hour.He was friendly & efficient.The bill was $220, but I had a coupon from the phone book,which saved me $40! The bill was then $180.Saved some money! They were very nice,even sent my coupon back to me with a thank you for my business& told me I can use it again if needed.Within a week I got another postcard thanking me again & offering $25 off any plumbing service.I will definitely use them again!

I called over a week in advance for a summer home that I was returning to over the Memorial Day weekend. A neighbor had found water stains and cracking in a lavatory ceiling below a 2nd floor full bath. Running water could be heard and water would splash from the ceiling hole whenever the toilet above was flushed. There were also signs of a leak from the master bathroom toiled. I asked for an appointment as early as possible after the holiday weekend. It was set for 8:00 that Tuesday morning. (Turns out that the running water sound disappeared, so I was able to leave the main water supply to the house turned on, but just couldn't use the 2nd floor toilets. Thank God for the half/bath on the first floor! Serviceman arrived right on time. Discussed what I wanted done and what he estimated it would cost. He was very courteous, confident and knowledgeable. The whole job took about 3 hours, and the final cost was actually lower than his estimate. The total cost for the work performed may seem a bit steep, but I don't think it is that different from any licensed plumber. And the peace of mind knowing it was done right and that I didn't have to do it myself especially the shower fixes where there is no independent shut off valve. I'm sure if I tried to fix it myself, I'd end up with a serious leak that would have necessitated shutting off the water to the whole house and a more costly repair by the plumber; I heard a lot of good reviews about Mr. Rooter plumbing on Angie's List and elsewhere. There are true!

Called Mr. Rooter and they were able to get someone out the next day. The plumber (Jason) was very nice and professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly but did not have the right part (cartridge) in his truck. He took my cartridge out of the faucet and went and got the correct replacement and came back. Once he had the part, the repair was quick. He was very good about cleaning up after the repair and put my kitchen rug back in front of the sink. I used a coupon from Angie's list ($30) and there was no problems with him honoring the coupon. He clearly stated the price before he started on the repair. Definitely would call them again.

We had a coupon from Angie's list, but I remembered that we had used this company when we had first moved in. We had tried to clean all the drains going to the main one but we decided it still was not moving fast enough to run the washing machine. We told them it was not an emergency but they came that very day. We will always use this company, it was not expensive and worth every penny. I am thinking of remodeling the bath room and will definitely use this company. Thank you Angie's List.

Plumber quickly diagnosed and rebuilt tank hardware in approximately one hour. He was very helpful, courteous and professional.

They showed up on time as scheduled. Looked at everything and wrote up an estimate. They explained the estimate to me. Very professional.

The entire job went very well, the plumber explained everything and was courteous & professional. He went out of his way to do things the right way. Most of all he cleaned up after himself which some contractors do not do ! The company also warranties there work .

It worked out ok. They had to disconnect some lines to be able to get to it. It was leaking 1 drop every hour or so. He said it would seal itself. It kept dripping and even more and there was a new 2nd leak. My husband is the type that if you don't do it right the 1st time we aren't going to call you back out again.

He arrived promptly installed the new kitchen sink faucet quickly with no problems. He clean up after he was finished and went to the basement to install our battery backup sum pump system. The job was done very well. I had complete confidence that he knew exactly what he was doing. When the job was complete he cleaned up the work area. I will be using them in the future for any plumbing needs.

I initially called for the main line back up on a Saturday morning. I got a call back within 5 minutes and the service man arrived within 20 minutes as promised. I got an up front estimate. The two caps for the access point were plastic and broke off when he tried to unscrew them. After clearing out the blockage, new metal caps were installed at no additional charge. I then asked him to take a look at the slow bathtub drain. Again, I got an estimate for the work and he proceeded with my approval. Both tasks were completed in a timely manner and professionally. For a Saturday, I didn't feel rushed or that he was inconvienced in any way.

I thought I needed a whole new kitchen faucet and everything and all I really needed was a new washer for the thing that turns it. They basically could have gotten me to buy a whole new set for $400 but they didn't. They just did what was needed. They were very honest and upfront. They were excellent. They were right on time.
