The guys tried to determine if a full septic tank was causing our backup, which would have been cheaper than snaking. The septic lid couldn't be found under several feet of snow, though. Upon rooting the drain, it was determined the blockage was caused by tree roots in the drain line. They reamed it out and got it flowing again.

We just bought the house. We living there less than a week and the sewage overflowed into the basement. We had visions of major problems with floor drains as the house was built in 1900. We called, were told about 30 minute wait. The plumber arrived in 28 minutes. Well would you believe one week later the sewage overflowed again. We called, he repeated the process and found more wipes and did not charge an additional fee. We are overflow free as of this time. Would call this company again without hesitation. Every employee we dealt with was polite, informative and prompt.

Martin quickly identified the issue as a faulty cartridge, explained to me the pricing for replacing the cartridge, went to his truck to confirm that he had the right cartridge in inventory, came back into the home, turned off the water main, removed the faulty cartridge, put in the new cartridge, turned on the water main, made sure that the drip had stopped before he left. He was polite, courteous and professional. I just think that Mr.Rooter's list prices are a bit on the high side. For this small job, I did not get competitve pricing. So, cannot really tell how much higher Mr.Rooter's pricing is. Luckily, I had a $30 coupon from Angie's List that I was able to use to lower the payment to Mr.Rooter.

We ran out of hot water on a Saturday afternoon.....called Mr Rooter emergency number. From the start the people at this company were polite, helpful and prompt. By 11 the next morning, a tech/plumber was at the house diagnosing the problem. Since the water heater was beyond repair, arrangements were made to install a new one the next morning. Bottom line......we were up and running after running out of hot water on the WEEKEND! There were no extra charges for weekend service. The new heater and labor costs were quite acceptable. No one wants to go 2 days without hot water but when stuff like that happens, Mr.Rooter is a very reliable business to contact. Kudos to Greg who left no stone unturned trying to bring a 15 year old water heater back to life on a Sunday morning!

Price was very fair, better than three other plumbers I had contacted for unclogging a stopped up toilet. Plumber explained all potential issues and concerns regarding clog and provided options. Only wish he had mentioned $40.00 coupon available from front of phone book (found that later) but we did use Angies $30.00 coupon. I would use them again, but hope I don't have too!

I had slow drains in bathroom and kitchen which then leaked under both sinks after we tried to fix with new elbow joints. Martin arrived on time after we received call from dispatch to let us know he was on his way. Martin reviewed problems and provided us with a cost for the jobs, which we were told at that time we could accept or decline and if we declined, there would be no cost to us. We had the work completed and are totally satisfied. Cost was more than originally quoted but this was for additional parts that were needed and main pipe stacks replaced. Time of job was approximately 2 hours and Martin was very knowledgeable and patient with us answering our questions. I also inquired with Martin about another plumbing job that we will need to have completed. Martin took the time to show me exactly what he thought would need to be done and an estimate of cost. After this first experience with Mr. Rooter Plumbing, we will have Mr. Rooter perform this job sometime after the holidays.

Very satisfied. They did great work in a timely manner, the staff was friendly and professional, and they left the work area clean. they were very accommodating and made sure to shut water off at convient times as we have elderly people living in the home. I can't comment on price because they were our first and only estimate. We had used their services to replace a hot water heater and based on that job and reviews in Angie's List we knew we had selected the best company.

They did a nice job and it was done in 45 minutes.

He was very professional, courteous and personable; answered all questions I had. I used a $40 coupon magnet, which is mailed back to the customer to use again on next service if and when needed. I will definitely use them again or ask them to bid on any major repair needed.

I am completely satisfied with the service Mr. Rooter provided to clean our clogged kitchen drain. I called the company's answering service on Tuesday night requesting help and received assurance that I would be called back early Wednesday morning. By 8:30 AM, Mr. Rooter technician, Mark, arrived and assessed the problem. He explained the costs and process involved to fix the blocked drain. In short order, Mark cleared the drain and cleaned up the area completely. If we need any plumbing assistance in the future, I am calling Mr. Rooter!

Checked them out on Angie's List and then went to the internet, where they stated they did sewer pipe relining. Called them and asked about their pricing and they told me they did not do that kind of work in this area. I let them know they should probably state that on their site. Didn't see a category for sewer relining on Angie's List site, so had to check each perspective site to see if they actually did the service.

I scheduled an appointment, was giving a time and date and the plumber was there on time dressed and acted very professional. I needed 3 copper shut offs installed and settled for 2. The area the shutoffs were to be installed was open and clear of obstructions. I was told it would be about $500, I said forget it!!I The materia, worst case, would be about $50.00 (high side), and I am going to do it myself, I figured in about an hour tops. Their service is terrific, their cost is prohibitive.

The technican came on time and he evaluated the problem. He quoted me a price and did the work. He cleaned up afterwards and stated he would come back out if the problem happened again. Thankfully it did not.

The plumber showed up right on time. Placed a camera through the drain in the basement. Found the tree roots. He cut the tree roots out of the drain. Told me the best thing to do is cut the tree down. He was extremely pleasant and nice. Explained everything to me. I did get the tree cut down. Haven't had a problem since.

I made an appointment with Mr Rooter to add 2 shut off valves and change another. All of the locations are in a friendly environment, that is a basement about 7 feet high, well lighted, nothing too close to the actual installation (because of fire). First I would like to say that I couldn't have dealt with an easier and more professional company. Their scheduling was terrific, even gave me overlapping times during the day, and the plumber was there right on time. He was also very professional, in his manner and appearance. I showed him what I needed done and he gave me an estimate, about $500.00. I know the material would have been about $20 to $30 or so, that makes the labor north of $450.00. I already have the valves and am going to do it myself, this company, in my estimation, is way too expensive.

Had a slow drip that was progressively driving us crazy. Called Agentis and Mr Rooter. They gave me a window the very same day and called me about a half hour before arrival time. The serviceman was very professional and considerate of our home. The replacement part from Kohler was going to cost me 345 to install. Before he did any work, he suggested to call Kohler and ask for a replacement part free of charge as part of the warranty (they declined). He then said he would allow me to find a cheaper part and he would return or we could install it today and he offered me a 45 dollar off coupon. The actual work got done in about 20 minutes and the faucet works great now. No more leak!! Not only was the work of quality, but the fact that the serviceman suggested ways to lower my costs was appreciated. Will call again.

My basement drains were backing up. They sent a tech within an hour. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Opened the pipes leading out of the house, showed me the cause, and fixed it. A couple things: 1 as a woman, I felt very comfortable with the tech - he was personable but very professional (if you've ever had someone in your house who made you uneasy you know how important this can be) 2 the price was very reasonable: I had a $30 coupon so it was actually $108 not 138. 4 I didn't feel like pressured to have services performed I didn't need and I felt that the tech wanted to make certain of the real source of the problem 4 The woman who answered the phone was also friendly and professional. Would recommend with no reservations.

I noticed water leaking underneath the bathroom faucet. I called Mr. Rooter Plumbing, whom I never used before, based on reviews from Angie's list. The person who took my information was very professional and helpful. She came me choices on a window time for the very next day (8-12, 10-2, or 12-4). She told me that the plumber would call me before he came out, that there was no charge for a service call, and that he would give me the price before proceeding. Chad called me at 9:30 am and asked if he could come out to the house (I had asked for a 10-2 window). When he arrived he checked the faucet and immediately determined the problem. He gave me the option of special ordering the exact piece since he did not have the exact popper or going with a different piece. Since I didn't care about an exact match, I went with a different piece. He left for a short time to pick up the piece. When he returned, he showed it to me before installing it. He found a chrome grid instead of a chrome popper. I was fine with this as I never use the stopper to flood the sink. He then gave me the price before proceeding. He finished quickly and accepted a $30 coupon that I had from Angie's List. I was very happy with the end product and the fast professional service from Chad. I will use this service provider again.

He saved our lives twice because we had a party of 40 coming in for Mother's Day and he came that morning. He also came right before my husband's birthday. His name was Brett Olpe. He is the best guy in the world. The price was nothing outrageous. He is a really nice man. One time there was a break in the sewer line but it was the town's problem, not ours. He is my favorite human and I recommend him to everybody. I will absolutely continue to use him.

The plumber was friendly and did mind us watching while he did his work. He told us about a valuable coupon on the telephone book, which more than the coupon offer with Angie's List.

I received a call on Sunday from fiancee's mother in PA that there was water in her basement. After searching on Angie's List, I called Mr Rooter. I described the problem to the operator, who in turn contacted the technician. Within the hour Dave Scoble was at her door. He did a thorough diagnostic check and got to work on alleviating the problem. Within 2 hours he got the line cleared out and water flowing again. He was professional and courteous at all times. I had advised him that I had a coupon from Angie's List, but could not physically produce it. He was able to apply the coupon despite this. We will definitely use Mr Rooter in the future.

Mr. Rooter plumber cut out and removed old faucet which had defective vacuum breaker. The work required the plumber to crawl into a small area in the basement to access the pipes. The plumber was very professional and worked diligently while he was at my house. The work was completed successfully. The only concern I had was the new faucet came with a nozzle that had a feature I didn't require and so I decided to contact the original manufacturer and purchase a different nozzle that better met my needs.
