everything went smoothly. received our quote which was very reasonable compared to 2 other roofers in Bethlehem, PA. Roofing crew arrived as scheduled and then siding and gutters were installed all within scheduled time frame! Everything was removed and area totally cleaned of debris. i would positively use Novak Home Improvements again and plan to when we complete siding on our home. Everybody we talked with from Novak were friendly and professional. EXCELLENT job!! THANK YOU NOVAK HOME IMPROVEMENTS!

The provider missed an appointment with me to evaluate and provide a proposal for work. He then rescheduled and never showed up for the second appointment either. Office staff failed to respond to message left at answering service. I used John Novak about 20 years ago and they did a good job on a total bathroom remodel. In my opinion the John Noval company of today does not share the same values of the past. On occasion when I did have a chance to talk to the office staff they seemed very disinterested and put me on hold several times before even talking to me. Note - This would have been a small job for John Novak (approx. $1200.00) that they lost out on due the failure to show responsibility. Had they showed me responsibility and decent work on this smaller job I was planning on giving Novak a full roofing job in the $10,000 range late this season or early next season.

I was pleased with him and his father in the past. Two of my neighbors had roofs replaced by him after mine. Their main crews came out to do their homes. The crew thad had come out to my house was not as professional as I would have liked. Their main worker was knowledgable, but the others were not. His price was fair and of standard. The quality was not bad, but the first time the work was done they missed installing an edge on the front of the roof.

I called the phone number listed and left message on voicemail. They called back a day later. I explained what I needed. They said they would have someone to come and workup an estimate. Nobody called and nobody came.

The work was performed in a professional manner and the workmanship is impeccable. The workers were polite and they cleaned up the worksite at the end of each day. I could not ask for anymore.

Weather held up the start of the work, all supplies had already been delivered and once the weather cleared and the crew got started, it went smoothly and I was happy with the clean up. I had expressly asked that debris not be thrown on the landscaping around the house and they repected that request.

They are a good company. They are very conscientious and reasonably priced.

I was unaware that they were going to subcontract out to another company so from the beginning I was not happy. The company that they sent out to do the work was not very competent in there job. Eventually I called Novak and they had to send out another subcontractor to finish the job. I found that to be unprofessional of them as a whole.
