Initial contact was prompt, thorough and courteous. Problem was diagnosed. Vendor did due diligence to research problem, and even went the extra yard to get temporary service. Everything went sour when they showed up for repairs, started installing/cutting/drilling into parts of newly renovated house not agreed. Despite the correct location was discussed at length prior. Instead of trying to work out an alternative, dialog went unprofessional and they stormed off. I was willing to accept a misunderstanding, and then work out an alternative, but the attitude made me reluctant to continue in case other issues arose. Too bad. I'm surprised they are voted "best in the valley".

From the initial estimate visit to the installation we were very pleased with the professional demeanor of the Deiter Bros. personnel. They removed the old system and installed the new system in one day. Every aspect of the installation was well done. The service techs left nothing to chance. The heat pump is not working on the heat cycle, however, they responded twice(the first time on a Saturday) to work on the problem and have now ordered new parts to correct the problem.

They were very nice, but not very reliable. They did not show up for their first appointment. When the appointment was rescheduled and they did the evaluation, they did not get the estimate to me as promised. We did not use this company for the installation of the new furnace because of their lack of service. I will not use this company in the future.

What was outstanding about this company was that we received a letter asking us why we did not use their service after receiving their quote. We explained that their quote was twice as high as the second quote we received and we had to go with the lower quote because there was such a price difference. We later got a letter from the owner telling us that the company looked into the why there was such a huge difference in pricing He told us that the workbook they had from their parts manufacturer had an error in it. He THANKED US for making them aware of a serious problem. That letter created much good will between us and Deiter Brothers and if we have another problem with our heating/A/C, we will definitely give them another chance to do the work.

They got rid of my old oil tank and installed new gas unit. They have a good reputation in the area as they have been around for a very long time and provide good customer service.

Had 4 estimates. Dieter Bros. was the most complete and professional. Price was middle of the 4 but the contract was the most complete and fair. Entire job done in 1 day. All went well, good clean up and very professional. I would use them in the future.

We had a chilly night Friday night and my furnace wouldn't turn on. Thank goodness it wasn't in the heart of winter. It wasn't an emergency so I called Monday mornng and the service man was here about 12:30. He found that the Flame Sensor in furnace was dirty. He cleaned it and tested the unit. He also inserted a new filter for me (I had the filter). . . replacing the filter is a difficult task for me (bad knees). I asked him to check the A/C. He did, and replaced a valve core. I had visions of replacing the furnace :( Good job!

Went very well. Got estimates from a few companies, Dieter Brothers provided the best value. They were not the cheapest one, but did include some things like emptying old tank etc.. in the charge. The technicians who installed it also did some extra work by putting line in the ground as opposed to running it up on ceiling because they said it was better and safer. (They didn't charge extra for this either). And this created a lot more work for them--would have been easier to run it along ceiling. Glad to see they weren't just trying to do easiest thing. Job was completed in one day, and quote was exactly right.
