From start to finish one smooth transaction

Ever wonder why it's better to use local businesses, even if the big box stores are cheaper? Here's why: After a perfect job with the entryway tile, through a mis-communication the Gallery installed the wrong carpet in my mother-in-law's newly purchased home next door -- but not only made good on it as soon as they were able in accordance with the guarantee -- but also picked up the installation charges that were not covered by the warranty! I have used the Gallery many times in the past. Their selection, quality, knowledge, and helpfulness are excellent for both rugs and flooring. The sales staff is prompt and responsive, and their installers skilled and pleasant to work with. They have been in business a long time, and, from my experience, they will continue to be successful into the future. I most enthusiastically recommend the Gallery.

We worked with Bob to discuss our requirements, review product samples, and put together a final plan of work. When it came time for starting the project, the team was professional and accommodating.

Although we had a lower price quote from another firm, we were hesitant to accept it because of what seemed to us an obvious lack of professionalism and general indifference during the initial selection process, especially in comparison with the reception we received at the Bethlehem Gallery of Floors. Among other things, the other bidder resisted our request to removed the old flooring, an extra step which accounted for much (but not all) of the price differential. The one negative in our overall experience was an unrealistic estimate of the time required for the work. We adjusted our schedules to accommodate a Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday morning project, as indicated by the estimator; the project finally wrapped on Friday. We are fully satisfied with the outcome and would doubtless begin any other flooring projects with a visit to the Bethlehem Gallery, keeping a skeptical eye on the proposed schedule.

Everything was very professional and I was extremely happy. The quality is great. They were very informative. They called me when they ran into a little glitch and told me it would be an extra day. They explained why and they were very upfront about everything. I priced around and I thought their price was fair. I will absolutely use them again.

The price was reasonable. They brought the things ahead of time to the house and they were here on time. They cleaned up after themselves. They did a good job. They used good materials. They were having a sale at that time, but I didn’t go to different places to check for different prices. So, I can’t compare what I got to other places. Their responsiveness was good. Overall, it was a good experience. I was satisfied with everything. I would probably use their services in the future too.

We dealt with Bob Young, the owner, who is very professional. He spent many hours with us selecting tile and carpet. His installation crew was professional, didn't mark walls, quality workmanship, were prompt and completed job early, to our satisfaction. Did whatever I asked to do.

The installer showed up on time, worked efficiently and professionally -- prepped floor, installed new subflooring and sheet vinyl flooring in remodeled bathroom, including a small extension area over rear staircase, which included a slanted portion. Design was well-calculated to fit perfectly- not easy in a 140-year-old home with no perfect right angles. He also cleaned up after himself, left the extra flooring in a neat rollso I could use it to line cupboard shelves. The salesperson did a follow-up call to make sure I was completely satisfied.

The quote was about $4500 for replacing our kitchen floor. They were very professional, and compared to others, their price was good. We will recommend them. We thought they were good. They came when they said they were going to come. They were pretty good in punctuality and we will use them again in the future.

The estimator said the uneven concrete floor of our 1/2 bath and mudroom presented major problems, so Bob Young, one of the owners of Bethlehem Gallery of Floors, came out himself to look at it, and said they could level the floor out to some extent and install sheet vinyl. For the kitchen, I described a checkerboard floor I liked in a restaurant to convey what we were looking for. I thought the floor was linoleum. Much to my surprise Bob emailed me later to say that he had stopped by the restaurant and identified the flooring as vinyl composite tile. I was impressed that the owner of the business --which is a large operation--took the time to do this leg work. He got us exactly what we wanted, which turned out to be by far the cheapest and most durable flooring option. The installer they sent, Rick Bennett, was outstanding--a meticulous workman who clearly takes pride in doing the best possible job, and a really nice guy. Because there were a number of surprises that arose during the installation, Rick came back about half a dozen times after the bulk of the work was done so that the finishing would be done right. Any detail we weren't satisfied with, he fixed immediately if he could. Rick had told the guys back at the store that the new kitchen floor was built up too high for him to use the metal transitions they gave him for the thresholds, and he wasn't sure how to solve this problem. After a week or so, Bob came to the house to show us a wooden transition he had made himself. Rick installed it and he took the time with the little details so that it looks really nice, much better than the metal would have looked. We are very happy with our new floors by Bethlehem Gallery of Floors!
