It was good overall. The reason to not proceed with this deal is because I got another lower estimate from a provider referred by a friend.

The provider "Tom" was prompt in response and measured floor, but when asked about sq. feet and price, he did not discuss. He said he'd get back to me with a price of their most popular floor, and did so. The price received was much higher than expected. I measured the entire surface to be covered and calculated the hardwood price myself based upon the price per s.f. shown on the estimate, which came to approximately 43% of estimate total just for the hardwood. The bill did not include the total s.f. upon which the price was estimated, and was not itemized (ex: labor, other materials)as I would have expected so that I could determine what the basis of the remaining 57% of estimate was. The email to which the estimate was attached contained unrelated information regarding "Team Nitro" and this link: http://tyoungbgof.wix.com/network-marketing#!workwithtom/cfvg. I don't want to receive such from providers I contact through Angie's list. I only want the information I need to make decisions regarding the work that I wish to have done and this provider did not give me the information I expected. I contacted the provider by email to let him know that that I would not proceed with the purchase.

Needed wall to wall carpet for two kids rooms plus a hallway and needed installation quickly before the arrival of our second child. We came to the right place. Staff was courteous, helpful and efficient. Installation workers arrived in a timely manner and except for some fingerprint smudges on the walls and woodwork trim, left the area clean and looking great with our new carpet. From quote visit to installation was only 3 days and all before Christmas! Couldn't be happier

Very responsive. Came to the house in response to a bidder's meeting. Very professional estimate, good variety of choices for wood floors and vinyl. Appeared to be a higher end floors seller and installer. In the end we chose to go with a general contractor who managed the entire restoration project. Would recommend for flooring projects.

I found the price to be out of my budget and chose not to proceed at ths time.

Service and installation was terrific. Sales was patient as I changed my mind on the carpet a few times and re-quoted me a very reasonable price with each new decision. Once I made up my mind, a timely install was scheduled. I cleared out all the room and the stairs for the new carpet, but was a little concerned I couldn't get the beds out. The install team had no problem with that and moved the beds around as they worked. I couldn't be happier with the final product. Great carpet and installed very well. Will absolutely use again for future needs.

Jordan and his team are great to deal with. We just purchased a town home in Easton and found that when the current owner moved out, the existing LR carpeting that we had intended to just clean was heavily stained, and we decided to replace it before we moved in. Due to the timing we were dealing with we had to acquire and have the carpeting installed within one week. We called a number of places and Jordan was the only person that wanted to take on the challenge. My wife and I went in and picked out the carpeting that we wanted from his quick ship selection on Monday night. They had the carpeting by Wednesday and they installed it on Friday morning. Jordan was great, the installers were terrific as well, they were very efficient and careful around freshly painted walls. If you are buying floorcoveringings in the Lehigh Valley area, you need to talk to Bethlehem Gallery of Floors!!

After checking angies list for a reference, we found the Bethlehem Gallery of Floors entry which included financing and a senior discount. Within two hours of our phone call, Jordan was at our house ready to take measurements and give an estimate, and that was on a Friday afternoon. We were impressed with his knowledge, eagerness to please us as potential customers, and ability to also connect us with painters who would schedule their services along with the floor refinishing. Coordinating the painting with the floor and molding work resulted in a complete new look for our home. The financing terms were also helpful, since there was no money down and 6 months no interest if paid in full, and the senior discount resulted in a savings of several hundred dollars. We thank angies list for such a great reference. We would definitely use this business again and have refered several people to them!

The estimate was timely, with a walk-through and an emailed estimate within 24 hrs. They started and ended the job on time. They did want all the money before the job even started. I went into the office with a question, but the guy who wrote my contract wasn't there and he never called. The guys who were there attempted to answer my question but it was not accurate. The team at the house were subcontractors. It was complicated because when we had questions, they had to call the main office, and it happened to be when the guy who wrote our contract wasn't in. They also mistakenly refinished a floor that wasn't in the contract. The final product--lots of stain splash on the baseboard and steps. Sanding dust on all the baseboards. We now have to hire a painter because of the staining. No one from the gallery called to follow up on the job or thank us for the business. If I had to do it again I'd look for a smaller business that didn't use subcontractors and followed-up on customer satisfaction.

After receiving the estimate, I was contacted via voice mail to discuss the estimate. I called back to set up a time to go into the showroom with my husband to discuss the flooring and cost. The reception I got on the telephone was cold, and we could not come up with a time that was convenient for this salesman. I felt as though my job wasn't big enough for him and he wasn't interested in my business. I have not heard from him again and will go elsewhere for my flooring needs.

Carpet & padding delivered & we had to unwrap & put in place. It was larger than we decided & you could see where a small piece was seamed, so I contacted them & received a small credit for the small piece that was seamed. Otherwise the carpet is very nice!

Excellent service and excellent product quality. Everyone was very courteous, prompt, and professional in providing their service. Because my wife is sensitive to odors, Jordan even aired the carpet and padding over the weekend before installing them Monday morning. We will buy from them again.

This company was awesome. They were extremely patient in trying to reach me with my busy schedule. In addition we ran into a couple of snags which they were kind enough to work with me in coming back again at a different time. I was so pleased with them I have placed another order today.

Very Professional mannerism with the initial visit, Bob the owner came the following day to perform the estimate pricing on work that was needed to be done. Decided to go with this company after reading all the good reviews they received, but was skeptical with not being home when work was being done. But was re-assured by the owner that their guys have done countless installs at customers homes by themselves with no problems.The project started on monday 4-15-13 and was completed by Wednesday 4-18-13. So basically they took 3.5 days to complete the work and it came out very nice, I have already received compliments on our entry way on how nice it looks. Matt and Garrison were the service guys that came out to do the work and they were both very professional and paid attention to details. I had a problem shortly after a guest had done something that I thought damaged the rug. I called and the manager told me the rug was under warranty and after several cleaning tries the rug company sent a rep who cleaned it up, no charge. Store manager called me to ask if I was satisfied. Overall, I felt that this was a caring company and in the future, I intend to go back.

We believe we were overcharged for this job. We won't use Bethlehem Gallery of Floors again.

Both the hardwood floor and the carpeting crews were very professional and trustworthy. The arrived exactly on time and seemed to work efficiently. I was extremely pleased with the outcome of both projects. Since the carpet was installed after the floors were finished, the workmen took exceptional care to protect the newly finished floors in the other rooms. I would definitely contract their services again when needed.

We just purchased a new home, and have not yet moved in. We wanted to replace the carpet in our master bedroom with hardwood flooring, but we were hoping to get it installed before moving in. We called them to get an estimate. When they came out for an estimate on Wednesday, they told me that it may be 2 weeks before they can schedule it, which is completely understandable. However, when the sales person got back to his office, he sent me an email telling me that they would be able to squeeze us in on that very weekend. The estimate came back very reasonable as well. It was actually even better than one of the big box stores. That Friday they came and ripped out the carpet and delivered the wood. On the night of the carpet removal, one installer even saw that I was working on a water pipe in the kitchen. He offered his assistance, even though I did not ask him too. Then on Saturday, they came in first thing in the morning. They were right on time. They had a team of 4 very high skilled workers, who installed the floor. Most floor installers want to set up their workshop in your garage, leaving a mess of your garage. Not these guys. They brought their own trailer with the workshop inside of the trailer. So, no saw dust or any other scraps even get into the house. Now the following paragraph is a very important detail, so please do not skip over this part! When they were installing the floor, there was a problem with the transition into the bathroom. The people who did the tile in the bathroom when the house was originally built made the tile transition strip go too far into the bedroom. I can only assume than most installers, especially the big box store contractors would have simply laid the floor around the tile that was protruding out of the bathroom. If they would have done this, it would have looked horrible. These guys didn't. Instead, they actually took the time to cut out the tile strip that was grouted into the floor. In other words, they did the job the right way. And to top it off, there was no additional charge for this last minute surprise. How many other installers would do the same? Throughout the whole process, they were unbelievably clean and neat. By the time they left, there were absolutely no signs that they were ever even there, except for the amazing floor that they installed. These guys are a class act. From the moment of the estimate to the carpet removal and delivery of the flooring, to the installation and the clean up, these guys are outstanding! I gave them a pretty decent tip at the end, because they deserve it. I wish I could have given more. This is why you should choose Bethlehem Gallery Of Floors over other installers. I highly recommend them.

Excellent experiences with the salesperson and the installers. We were very pleased with the results.

Even though I was greatly put off by the companies demand of a 75% down payment; I relied on previous reviews and signed a contract for stated work. The initial install date was moved back a couple of days, supposedly by weather on a previously started job. But, when the installers got here they worked well together, tear out and new subfloor for the kitchen completed in one day. The next day installation was completed of the new laminate flooring.

The estimator was late for our appointment, but was apologetic, and it was not big deal. He was very professional, and courteous. They told me that they use sub contractors to do the work, which I don't care for, and their estimate was 2.5 times higher than the next estimate. Also they required 50% down, with the remainder paid BEFORE THE WORK BEGINS. This is a violation of the PA Home Improvement Contractor laws that states no more than 1/3 down can be required. I was looking to have hardwood floors replaced in a small home, which must not be their specialty. They are probably a great choice for other floor coverings. Beware of their prices.

We have an open floor plan with a kitchen, living area and dining area. We originally had a curved piece of wood transitioning our old kitchen floor and the living area. They made a beautiful replica of that wood transition piece. We worked with Larry at Gallery of Floors and Jim was the installer. They were professional and all went very smoothly and the end result looks great!

We bought a 1600 square foot ranch house in Bethlehem in May 2012. Most of the floors were covered in wall-to-wall carpeting and the seller didn't know what was under it. We took a gamble, bought the house, had the Gallery of Floors salesman come out to check, and discovered that there were beautiful hardwood floors underneath - even into the closets. We scheduled the work, to have the carpet removed and floors refinished. The price took my breath away a little, but we are SO glad we had it done! The crew was very prompt and courteous. The only slightly unprofessional thing was that the carpet-remover was daunted by a sticky residue left by a defective carpet pad in one room. He showed it to me, saying that he didn't know what they could do about it. I got a cloth and some hot, soapy water, and it came right off. It just took a lot of elbow grease. Our floors are beautiful.
