This was not a good experience. I chose an 8 a.m. start time which was never confirmed and no one attempted to contact me to change. I called to confirm and was told only then it was 10 a.m. start time. It was after 10 when they arrived and started. The crew was told that the primary elevator was down and there was a second one in another direction but they opted to use the stairs. This is from a third floor of an apartment complex. They took everything down those stairs which included all the furniture. The china closet was never wrapped for protection. I found two scratches on it that were not there before. Then midway through the move they changed crews which created chaos. The second crew was seemed to not know where the first team left off. We marked boxes with the rooms they belonged in and pasted stickies on the wall to let them know there the different pieces of furniture went. They didn?t follow any of it but instead kept asking ?where does this go?. I couldn?t keep up with it and ended up with boxes in rooms they didn?t belong. In the process I lost two shelves, one to my computer stand and another to a cart and because I was asked to estimate how many hours was needed I was on the low end where there should have been seven hours. How am I to know how much time it takes to move what I have, I am not in the moving business. There was no estimate to see how much I would need and it ended up I had at least two more hours worth of moving left. I now am left with a small truck load of stuff in the old apartment and am being forced to find another person to move that for me which means I have to put out more money. I chose this company because they had high ratings on Angie?s list. Big mistake!!!!!

They offered a general quote via phone and requested details emailed. There was never a response. The details were only offered as they were an Angie's list provider. It left us with a feeling that we had just supplied details for a robbery.

From start to finish it was professional, courteous, quick and one of the best experiences I have had moving! From my first inquiry to them about my move, to setting the date, time and price...everything was very well spelled out, I knew all I needed too. Then after our phone conversation I received an email contract with everything we had spoken about exactly as we had talked about it. The day before the move I spoke with Jerel who confirmed the move, spoke of the two men who would be moving me so I knew who they were and what to expect. They showed up on time ready to work. They had the truck loaded in two hours everything I needed moved on the truck. They were efficient in moving my things out to the truck, with ease, no dings on the walls or ceilings that I have had in the past as movers rushed to get to the next job. I never felt like they needed to be done and out of there. They were there to move me. Once packed up we went to the house and they unloaded as quickly, carefully, and efficiently as the load on to the truck. They were done in three hours. I even asked them if they could move a large piece from one room to another when I decided that I didn't really want it in the first room like I thought. They quickly did it with out any complaint or question. They were extremely polite, were great at communicating if they were unsure of something to move or where to put it. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a stress free move! They are dependable, communicative, and a pleasure to work with. I will always use them! They have a loyal customer for as long as they are in business!

moved from a 2 story home into a 3 story home. I HAD MANY LARGE HEAVY pieces, all of which went to the second and third floor, in the new home, except for the ding room buffet china cabinet and hutch. It took them four hours. Only wish they could have put the bed and futon back together again.. But for just 2 men I WOULD say they did an excellent job. do not hesitate to call o the Affordable guys for all your moving needs

On time, professional, no damages. Would use them again

Went well with no major issues. All three movers were pleasant and friendly. Got the job done quick once they started and no damage was done to the furniture. We did have one hiccup - they were late to arrive. About 15 minutes past the scheduled arrival time we called to make sure they were still coming. They assured us they were, and they did finally show up almost 40 minutes late. A recommendation to the company is that they call to confirm the time and place a day or two before the scheduled move date. If we had received this call we wouldn't have been so worried when nobody showed up around the scheduled move time since we hadn't heard anything from them other than payment confirmation a few weeks prior. Overall I am glad we used them and will recommend them to others in the future.

Excellent service. Easy scheduling with phone call to Jerel. They arrived on time. Piano was loaded first - wrapped and strapped carefully. Remaining furniture was also moved and packed professionally. All items were padded and secured. Work was done in just over one hour. Would definitely recommend to others and will use again for my own future needs.

The two movers John and Jay arrived at April's on time (10 minutes before ), had her all packed and loaded in the truck withing 6 hours. Mind you she was on the 2nd floor, with three rooms and a loaded walk up attic to pack and load. These guys are awesome!!! Then Jerel and Jay then drove to TN. They arrived on time at 4:30 pm and had the truck unloaded. Within an hour. All belongings were is excellent condition!!!! I highly recommend this guys for your move!!!!! Wendy Furney

They were awesome! Everything went as planned! They were all very quick, efficient, professional and very knowledgeable.

The movers were phenomenal. Very please with making the decision to go with Affordable Guys Moving. They were very prompt and well dressed in coordinated shirts. Both guys showed professionalism while handling our belongings. They worked efficiently as well as placing all furniture correctly so everything would fit. They secured all fragile items so that we wouldn't have any worries while driving the truck. We ordered for 2 hours of service and the job was completed in a timely manner. The guys were a huge help, my husband and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you again for your excellent help guys.
