Showed up on time. Did a great job moving all of our belongings and not a thing was broken. Also they supplied us with more than enough boxes and it was all for a fair price. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to move.

Customer service was very timely with the moving details and all went as described. The truck driver and his partner were employees of the company and were extremely polite and conscientious and careful with our belongings. Nothing was damaged in transit and they unloaded our goods in FL as well as the loading in PA.

It went good. They were very professional and good. Protected place I moved out of and the place moving into. However, their courteousness was a little less this time. Moving is stressful enough without feeling pushed by the movers. They were conscientious about keeping things moving in a timely manner so that cost overruns were minimal, but was a little too much until I spoke up and said to turn it down a notch since I was paying for this and less stress and slightly more cost was acceptable. After that it went well. Had one scratched piece and a few dented boxes but nothing broke. Something always happens in a move. Overall it went well and would consider using them again.

The move went very well, the moving crew showed up early, loaded everything quickly but carefully. At our new home they asked where each box or item should go and moved everything in with the same quickness and care. They finished up at the exact time that was estimated.

It took two days. Everything went fine. They moved the stuff. Didn't break anything.

For each move you are given a coordinator, who in my case, was very easy to reach whenever I had a question or an issue. She helped me make sure that I had all of the necessary paperwork completed, arranged with my employer for payment and checked in before and after the move to make sure I was happy with everything. The actual movers were great as well. They are responsible for your items when they are loaded into their truck (if something happens to your things it comes out of their paycheck) so they are very careful with all of your items, when they are picking them up and dropping them off. In my case they were also very kind and went above and beyond to move items for me and repack a few things. The only issue I had with the company was the sales person. However, I learned that the sales people are hired as outside sales people and are not actually part of South Hills Movers directly. He promised me a lot of things that did not happen for my move. I much prefer someone to be honest about the company and what it is capable off - not lied to just so that I use that company. South Hills Movers ended up being the best company for my move - despite the sales person.

South Hills Movers are great! They are very professional and did everything as agreed for a fair price. All of our stuff arrived without a scratch at our new home. We will definitely use them again in the future.

All of the gentlemen involved were very, very, very, hard working, courteous and professional. They were great to work with and had great senses of humor.

South Hills Movers did a great job moving my family from Pittsburgh to Atlanta. The entire process of working with South hills movers made this big move as minimally stressful as possible. Bruce and his team were phenomenal when it came to the packing, loading moving and unpacking. There was not a single lost or damaged item from what we can tell. During the move the guys were very efficient and worked extremely hard to get the job done, all while being very friendly and courteous. I hope not to move again anytime soon but I would definitely use South Hills Movers again and I highly recommend them for any and all moves.

South Hills Movers were great. They sent a sales rep to my home to view the extent of our things to be moved. The representative was informative and professional. They were able to work with me in ways that another company was not. For example, when I got my estimate, I was still trying to determine if our buyer would allow us an extra day in the house post-closing. If not, we may have needed to pack our things up, store them overnight on the truck, and then move them into our new house the next day after both closings. South Hills Movers said no problem - it would be a charge of $400 or so (due to the extra transportation cost, etc.). I also got an estimate from Two Men and a Truck - and they said storing overnight would double the charge of the move (in other words, you pay for two moves). I lived on a busy street, so South Hills Movers' sales rep. noted right away that the parking of the truck on the street could be a problem. He advised I contact the local police regarding any regulations for blocking the street. I did - and learned that flaggers would be required. South Hills movers did all of the work of arranging for the off-duty-police flaggers. They added it into their bill and I was able to just pay one fee at the end. The South Hills Movers people called me to confirm the move was reserved, called me again about a week previous to the move, and then called me the day before. They were great about communication. On the day of the move, the guys showed up on time. They introduced themselves. They were professional and worked hard. They were genuinely nice guys. We sat down to each lunch with them when the time came - and they were very pleasant to talk with. They were very careful with everything and even re-packed a few things we did not pack well. Once they unloaded the whole truck, they asked us to take a walk around the house with them, so that we could have them rearrange anything that we thought was out-of-place. They did move a few things after I changed my mind about what room they should go in - and they were entirely pleasant about it. They finished up right on time and presented the itemized bill, with all items (including the police flagging, the time spent on lunch break, etc) professionally laid out, at the end of the day. They were great. And I can't think of anything bad to say. It's some of the best money I have ever spent.

We had a wonderful experience with South Hills Movers. Our crew was on time both days, professional and easy to work with. We did all of our packing, but did need their help moving a few large pictures & mirrors. We would highly recommed this team.

The company called several times before the move to answer any questions. They offered free iseboxes if I needed more than i already had. The 4 men were on time wasting not a second. Efficient yet careful, they packed & wrapped my new expensive furniture. I was very sick that day & was relieved they wete so competent. My husband spent 49 years in the moving industry & was an owner operater for a major company. We know the right way and the wrong way. I was impressed with the accuracy of the estamite. Yes, they were slightly more than my other quotes. BUT the other companies were far off on thier quotes. We would have had a nasty surprise at the end. Word to the wise, dont pack flamable items & be sure to clearly label boxes. They arrived at my new house placing the boxes where i wanted them. Day two went just as smoothly. I did not have any damages. I was so relieved.

Hired them to move our furniture and large items. They were careful, wrapped everything and made sure drawers didn't fall out. They were prompt and efficient. They also made sure we did a walk through prior to leaving to ensure they got everything we wanted them to take - they even asked if there was anything else we wanted to add on. I should have taken them up on the offer now that I know how much time it took and $$ it was. When we got to the new place, they unloaded quickly and placed everything exactly where we wanted it. I wasn't picky as to where it was placed as I really need to see what the layout looks like first and frequently change things if where it is doesn't quite fit. They placed our furniture perfectly, (put the beds together and put anything they had to take apart back together) and when done, asked to do another walk through to ensure everything was where we wanted it and if it wasn't they would move it. We aren't used to standing by watching people work, so for us personally it was strange, as we wanted to jump on the truck and help out, but the guys were very personable and friendly and made the experience enjoyable. The best part is it ended up costing us less than quoted, even though we were given a heads up during the quote that we may likely end up paying more, as sometimes it takes longer to load/unload depending on the houses. We would definitely recommend them and would use them in the future.

Timely, attentive service. Cooperative staff. No damage. Only item that could be better is the packing -- emphasis is on speed and safety(think lots of paper), rather than unpacking ease. I could have been better organized before which would help alot.

After making the initial call, Steve Mlinarch (Sales rep) visited my house. He was extremely professional and explained the move process and what I should expect. Prior to the move, Steve dropped off 50 boxes, packing materials and tape. Kelley McCord handled the logistics and scheduling from the office and was also very professional. Steve was at my house at 7:50 AM (40 minutes before the move) and the movers came shortly thereafter. Steve helped me pack the wardrobe boxes while Rob, Rich and Joe loaded approx 200 boxes and furniture in to the truck. They even offered to take my frozen and other food from the fridge (in addition to the items I had planned to take myself in my car). They were extremely careful not to damage anything and laid down pads to cover the carpet. After loading the entire truck (about 1 1/2 hours), we drove to the new house where they then covered the floors and unloaded the entire truck. The movers made sure to use safety devices and were amazing with what they could carry and load. During the move, they were very cordial and respectful to me and my possessions. They even offered to empty file cabinets and dressers if I wanted. At the end of the move, we finalized payment with Kelley and the movers left. Everyting was done within 1 mintue of the estimated move time! I was extremely satisfied with South Hills Movers and highly recommend them. I did get proposals from 3 other companies and chose South Hills due to recommendations, pricing and professionalism of the staff. Move day is very stressful, but the movers from South Hills Movers were incredible and made my move very successful at a reasonable price. In addition, there were no damages to my goods at all.

We ended up not moving but the company was very professional and we plan to use them in the future, once we put our house back on the market.
