Great work and would suggest using them to anyone. You definately get what you pay for

We were very happy with them. They came when they said they would come. They brought a vehicle of sufficient size so that they could do the work in the given time frame. We had some glass pieces, and they were very careful with them. They were very friendly, helpful, and did not damage anything. They finished the work very fast.

I contacted South Hills Movers and their sales representative came to our house, reviewed the items we had to move and gave us an estimate of about $1000 for 4 movers and a truck for 6 hours. We accepted and we scheduled the move at that time (about two weeks out). The day before, our move coordinator called to say our move team would arrive at our house at about 8:30 am the next day. On our move day, the team arrived early - about 8:15 am - and everyone introduced themselves and began to assess everything we had to move. It was raining that morning so they took the time to wrap each piece of furniture so it wouldn't get wet. And they were careful not to damage anything in the house. At the new house, they unloaded the truck and carried everything into the house and put it right where we wanted it, including our upright piano. Overall, the men were very courteous, friendly and efficient. And they came in under time and under budget.

I had no damage to anything they moved. They were real personable. They were very tolerant of the process. They set the date that matched my schedule. At the new house they unpacked and put everything where I wanted. Then they came back out and picked up all the boxes we used and all the wrapping.

They packed our entire house in one truck. There was a packing fee which was based on weight. Their price is really comparable with the other ones that we were looking at.

My husband and I were very pleased with the results of our recent move with South Hills Movers. This is the second time I have used South Hills Movers and Keith Landon as the driver. I would highly recommend the company and Keith's services specifically. Keith and three movers helped move large pieces of furniture, heavy boxes of books and other items with care. The movers were careful not to damage items or walls even in the narrow stairway. They also laid plastic on the stairs to protect our new carpeting, which we really appreciated since it was a rainy day. I recommend requesting the boxes they use to transport hanging clothes; it s so much easier than taking everything off the hangers! South Hills Movers is a trust-worthy company. Keith and the movers were friendly, reliable and very helpful. If we decide to move in the future, our first call will be to South Hills Movers!

South Hills was responsive to our calls and in giving us an estimate. Their estimate was right on. South Hills also was very accommodating and changed our moving date only a month before our move when a scheduling conflict arose on our end. The movers showed as scheduled (though the driver called us to say their truck was having some technical issues en-route). The movers were friendly and, for the most part, professional. (The lead driver was sarcastic and made a number of comments about how many stairs we had in/out of the apt. The company did not ask us about this when we scheduled the move -- though they should have known because they had moved us into that location two years prior.) The lead driver regretted not bringing two other (rather than the one other) guy he brought to help with the move. He could indeed have used two helpers. And in fact, there were a lot of stairs (38) and it was a very hot day. The movers arrived at the drop-off (the storage facility) somewhat later than they said they would, and I had to call them to learn that they were running about 45 minutes late. All of our belongings were intact, however, and they movers did an expert job loading/fitting them into the storage area.

We would have been happy to use this company for our move but after this experience I would not recommend them to anyone.

They were good and I would recommend them. They arrived when they said they would and kept in touch if they were going to be running late. They packed everything carefully so there was no damage. They were also able to keep up with my special instructions.

The estimator arrived promptly and efficiently provided a detailed estimate. The moving men also arrived when promised and quickly boxed and loaded the apartment contents. The delivery date range was reasonable. The only glitch was that our 24 hours notice was actually only 12 hours. The load was not as heavy as anticipated so we received a refund check of $500.

Quality of packing and the move itself was satisfactory. Attitude of moving personnel variable; one was extremely helpful & pleasant. Problems stemmed from the deceptiveness of the salesman & the company's failure, despite a letter to its president, to stand behind his promises. Salesman promised me that my 3 window A/Cs would be installed & represented the issue as routine. In fact, the crew chief informed me upon arrival they're not allowed to install A/Cs & said Operations doesn't report to Sales (I didn't think this was my problem). He called the office & told me the head of sales would call me back. He never had the courtesy to do so. Late that night, an independent vendor arrived to do the work, but I was charged for their services. I signed a typical plus-or-minus-10% contract, as mandated by the FTC. At the conclusion of the move, however, I was presented with a bill for 17% in excess of the bid- not counting later A/C bill. Wouldn't use again.

THEY ARE VERY GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO. IT DID NOT TAKE THEM LONG TO GET MY THINGS PACKED UP AND READY TO MOVE. I FOUND THAT VERY LITTLE WAS DAMAGED DURING THE TWO MOVES.

Their estimate of the weight of our goods was the highest, but they were closest. Everyone else underestimated. However, their prices for extra services was much higher than others.

Very disappointing. I used this company three years ago, and was very pleased, but this experience was quite opposite. They broke two boxes of dishes/glassware, the glass top to my desk and severely gouged all six of my dining room chairs. The truck driver also side-swiped my neighbor's car, doing extensive damage, as they were leaving the old house. Company's explanation is that they use inexperienced help during the busy times of the year. Buyer beware!

Estimate to move was $1800. It was estimated that we needed 157 boxes to move. If we needed them to pack all 157 boxes it would cost approximately another $1008. We purchases 140 boxes and packed them ourselves. Boxes cost us $157. It was suggested that we pack the majority ourselves and leave the china and dishes for them so that they would be covered under the insurance. This is what we did and called prior to the packers arriving as so that they would be updated as to where we were. We were told that 2 men would come for a few hours to finish the packing. Instead 4 men showed with a truck (mad) and began packing and moving our belongings onto the truck. I called a manager who assured me that it would only cut my moving costs down for the next day. The next day 6 men showed up and the job was done in 6.5 hours instead of 8, but I was then charged for an extra day of moving. Total bill just under $2800. 2 Wks of phone calls, Sales rep. sent me to Mgr and still no response.

The driver managed his crew very well. He made sure everything was done properly and in order. He oversaw everything very closely. They handled small, miscellaneous problems very well and efficiently. They were all really pleasant.

I FOUND THIS COMPANY IN THE YELLOW PAGES AND THEY GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE. THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE MORE, BUT WHEN I CALLED THEM THEY WENT WITH THE AGREED PRICE. I HAD A FAVORABLE EXPERIENCE WITH THEM AND THEY WERE RELIABLE AND NOTHING ARRIVED BROKEN.

Very Professional - all items were moved in one day - no damage to anything. Workers were very personable & courteous. I found movers that were less expensive & more expensive - much value for the $$.

THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL WITH OUR THINGS. DIDN'T HURT THE WALLS AND FLOORS. ASKED US WHERE THING SHOULD BE PLACED. AFTER PLACING THEM THEY ASKED IF THIS WAS OK. GREAT EXPERIENCE.

THEY CALLED THE NIGHT BEFORE TO TELL US THEY WOULD BEGIN AT 9 AM INSTEAD OF 8. THEY SHOWED UP PROMPTLY AT 9. THEY WERE COURTEOUS AND EXTREMELY EFFICIENT. WE MOVED ACROSS TOWN AND THEY HAD UNPACKED THE TRUCK BY 3:30 PM. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE MOVING IN THE PITTSBURGH AREA. OUR ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT THE SALESMAN WE SPOKE WITH TO BOOK THE MOVE WAS LONG-WINDED (HE KEPT TALKING FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES AFTER HE HAD FINISHED HIS QUOTE EVEN THOUGH WE HAD A SCREAMING TODDLER WAITING TO BE PUT TO BED) AND HIS ESTIMATE WAS PRETTY LOW IN COMPARISON TO THE ACTUAL COST (BY ABOUT $100).

THEY HAD TO USE 3 TRUCKS. THEY WORKED HARD TO STAY WITHIN THEIR QUOTE. WE EXPERIENCED NO DAMAGE. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME, DID GREAT WORK, AND I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL.

VERY IMPRESSED BY QUALITY OF EMPLOYEES AND THE CARE THEY TOOK IN MOVING OUR GOODS. VERY PROFESSIONAL!

FOUR GUYS SHOWED UP ON TIME AND PROCEEDED TO WORK STEADILY UNTIL OUR OLD HOUSE WAS PACKED UP. THEY TOOK A SHORT LUNCH BREAK AND WORKED STEADILY AGAIN UNLOADING EVERYTHING AT THE NEW HOUSE. PROFESSIONAL. FRIENDLY. WILL HIRE THEM AGAIN.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL & POLITE WORKERS. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND WITHOUT ANY DAMAGE.

I LIVED IN A LARGE APARTMENT FOR OVER 25 YEARS. THEY MOVED ME IN LESS TIME THAN I THOUGHT (UNDER 6 HOURS ON THE HOTTEST DAY OF THE YEAR.) COURTEOUS, VERY STRONG AND EFFICIENT!!!
