R & R Masonry Reber Restoration

The owner, Tony, and the team of five, led by Terry, arrived promptly and got straight to work. The gentlemen were polite and courteous to each other while working. Everything they did on the job was excellent and it was obvious to me that everyone was experienced. Tony Reber, of Reber Restoration, never dropped the ball from my first contact with him to the last minute on the job. I'm impressed with him and his company's professionalism. When I have another project, I will certainly hire R & R Restoration. I know I can trust them.

Not too impressed. Showed up more than an hour late for the estimate to fix a 5x4 section if stone foundation struck and damaged by a speeding car. Sent the estimate to the wrong email a****. When I called and had it sent to the right address, it was $1000 more than the other estimate, and those guys did extremely high quality work. This work required permit and inspection, and whereas the other company handled that for me, these guys wanted me to get the permit and coordinate all inspections.

The repair teams wer efficient and the work was performed quickly with little disruption. They matched the old cement work and the repairs blended in very well. I appreciated the timelyness and quality of the work. The crew cleaned up after the work was done so one could hardly tell they had been on site.

Tony was very courteous and prompt with his quote. He returned my call the same day and came out the next day to aquire a sample of brick in order to match it. The brick was older and the other contractors said they couldn't match it. He provided a detailed written quote which I appreciated. Other contractors gave a verbal quote and though lower in price I felt I would end up paying more in the end. Tony scheduled the work a week after he received the signed quote and again I appreciated the quick response. He came to the job site to ensure the work was done right. The finished work was excellent and the brick was matched as closely as possible. I am very satisfied with the work and price and would use R & R Masonry again.

These people are WONDERFUL!! Tony responded quickly when I called into the office, came out and emailed me an estimate that evening. He also noted the cracks on both sides of the house and fixed those also. Although I only thought it was the one side, he saw the other side and they also fixed the cracks. Everything looks better than ever and all of the workers were very experienced and Tony did oversee everything. They were kind and explained everything and cleaned up as if they had never been there. They are truly a good company that I would use again and again. All of these people from Tony the owner on down take such pride in their work. I feel that has been missing for such a long time from many and these people all take pride in doing a great job!

Tony gave us a quote for the work and got us on the calendar quickly once we signed the contract. We were happy with their work throughout the entire process. Tony checked in daily to update us on the status of the work. The workers were very considerate of our time, flowers, etc. They worked two weekends to get the work completed in a timely manner. Where two vents were removed, they matched the brick perfectly that you can't tell they were ever there. Where previous repairs were done with non matching mortar, they were able to remove it and replace it with mortar that matches the rest of the house. Their cleanup from this large job was very good, and they even worked around a nest of newly hatched birds on a windowsill. If you're looking to have masonry work done, we can't imagine it getting better than R & R.

Tony's team did a wonderful job of repairing my small concrete block based front porch. It had been deteriorating the past few years, and now it looks brand new. They were able to do the job quicker than anticipated due to a cancellation and I was so thankful they were able to finish it this weekend. Dave and Joe worked so hard and I appreciate all of their hard work and efforts. Thank you R&R Masonry Restoration - I will definitely call you again if needed and will certainly recommend them to others.

From the moment Tony came to do an estimate, I felt comfortable working with him. He's extremely easy going, knowledgeable, and professional. His crew are polite, punctual, and efficient. When the basement work was complete, I couldn't even tell they had been there, even putting furniture back in it's original spot. I am so pleased with the work, R & R will be doing our retaining wall in the near future.

It went very well. They did a nice job! I would definitely have them back! They were extremely nice, they cleaned up well.

I thought this would take weeks.....these guys worked Sat and Sunday to finish! Tony and his crew were there every morning at 7:30 and questions I had were answered in a very friendly and informative manner. A+ isn't a high enough rating. AND they matched the grout so perfectly people can't tell where the work was done. Contact me if you have ANY doubts, I hope t never need them again but if I do I know who I will call.

It never happened. That was the problem.

R&R was initially recommended by my stone contractor, who told me that he would not call or use anyone else except R&R for brick restoration and mortar repair. Quite an endorsement. After getting our quote from Tony, it at first felt a little on the high-side since we were only getting various repairs and not a complete repoint. After seeing all of the work that they did and how nice it turned out, it seemed like a great price. Tony was always very responsive every time I e-mailed him, no matter what time of day or night or weekend. When I added an extra job to my bid, a removal and patch of an old kitchen vent, he completed it at no additional cost. They also repaired some broken concrete that I was planning to do myself after the mortar job was complete -- bonus! This is an easy recommendation. Hire R&R.

TONY AND HIS CREW WERE GREAT. I FOUND THEM TO BE VERY COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. TONY WAS ON SIGHT EVERY DAY AND TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN EVERY STEP OF THE NEEDED REPAIRS. HE STUCK TO HIS ESTIMATE EVEN THOUGH HE DID SOME EXTRA WORK I REQUESTED THAT WAS NOT INCLUDED IN IT. MATCHING NEW BRICKS REPLACED THE OLD CRACKED BRICKS WHICH GAVE AN OLD HOUSE A NEW APPEARANCE. THE CREW RINSED THE HOUSE AND CLEANED UP ALL DEBRIS. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK.

I called Tony and he was at my house the next day to provide an estimated. I received the estimate the following day. After I signed the paperwork to proceed he was at my house that week. The work was completed above expectations. He also repointed and capped my chimney. Great service, great employees the service was above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend him and his crew for any masonry work.

I needed my house pointed. Tony responded quickly to my email inquiry. He missed his initial appointment time and called to reschedule. He missed that one without contacting me. I attempted to reschedule and Tony responded that he would. He did not show up and I have not heard from him since.

I called Tony in the morning, he was at my house by the afternoon to do an estimate. I received the written estimate via email that night, and called the next morning to schedule. He knew we were on a time crunch (selling the house) and he had his crew out the very next morning first thing. They completed the work that day, and came back the next morning to power wash/clean up. They replaced a number of damaged bricks and fixed the mortar in a number of other places. A previous repointing job from 15 years ago did not hold up well - some of the mortar had simply fallen away. The mortar they used is an excellent match, and the replacement bricks as well. You would never know there had been a problem in several of the places. While this is messy and noisy work, they carefully covered our windows and storm door, and no damage occurred. The rest of the house and landscaping look as good as they did before they arrived. Based on what we paid for our last repointing job, we felt this was more than a fair price, because they did more work (replacing bricks rather than just replacing the mortar). I will not hesitate to use them again at our new house when repointing or repair becomes necessary (as it always does!)

Tony and his crew were great. He was very quick to respond to my request for an estimate and mailed me a detailed proposal and price. Once the proposal was accepted, work started within one week and was completed timely. I was very happy with their work, Tony's attention to the job, and I would definitely hire them again if needed.

Tony from R&R responded almost immediately after my first call to the office and promptly showed up to give assess the job. Within 6 hours of my accepting his proposal the team was on-site staging to begin the repair work. The work was done thoroughly, completely and efficiently. At the end of each day the job site was cleaned and the equipment & supplies were neatly stored. Tony was an extremely pleasant, polite and professional and took the time to completely explain the process of what would be done. He managed use samples of the broken bricks to obtain new bricks that were a perfect match for the existing brick. I could not possibly be more happy with the services provided by this company and wouldn't hesitate to refer any of my friends or family.

It took us a while to get an appointment but he did his best to find what we want. He seems like a very nice guy.

This is the second time we hired R and R to do work for us. The first time was to resurface two chimneys, this was last year. We were so happy with their work that we had them back this year. We had always been hesitant to hire people to do work on our house in the past after a few bad experiences. The scope of this job was beyond what we could do. We used Angies List and found a local company, R an R Masonry Restoration. Tony, the owner, is very prompt with estimates and the work is done when he said it would be. Tony's employees are excellent, every one of them is a hard worker and very skilled. We plan on using them again. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Tony responded timely when contacted for a quote and arranged to visit my home based on my schedule. He scheduled the work and completed it within the time frame he said he would. His workers were very professional and accommodating so we could access the house through their work. The work area was cleaned up at the end of each day. While doing the work they found some loose bricks (about 20) and replaced them without increasing the price of the job. I am very satisfied with the work and would use their services again if needed.

Tony and company were fast, hard working and did a very attractive job replacing the lintels and repairing any damaged brick and/or morter. Found brick and grout to match what was there so it looks like new again. All of the workers were professional, helpful, and went above and beyond what I had expected. They left the job site very clean when finished, and even replaced cracked bricks that were not connected to lintels just because, without extra charge. I was very impressed with their work and very thankful for the how quickly and well they finished such a big job.

Owner came immediately and brought brick to find a match for our brick. Workers did an excellent job and cleaned up perfectly.

I had looked hard to find anybody. Then when I got their response I was very pleased. Their price was much better than anyone else. Their response time was very quick versus “in may be in two or three months we can get to you”. They did a good job. I thought they matched the bricks very well. It has only been a year and I have to hope it would hold up. Initially I was very pleased. The people who came out were very good. They had groups of people that did things for example maybe younger college boys come out and put the frame work up and then someone who was experienced with the brick did the bricks so they had experts in that little area. I did not see the same people all the time. The owner came out and looked things over and kept an eye on things. They were quick and efficient.
