Description of Work: I had an appointment scheduled for an estimate on chimney mortar repair. My appointment was scheduled for this past Friday May 1st. He was a no call no show. It's very unprofessional to schedule an appointment and then fail to show up for it or call to reschedule if appointment time is no longer convenient.

Description of Work: Basically replaced bricks on chimney and front stoop. Very efficient and professional. Came back to check a problem with the chimney that did not turn out to be their fault.

Description of Work: R&R Masonry Restoration repointed my house. They first came to inspect the house and then showed me a variety of mortar colors. They did everything that they said they would: remove old mortar, power wash, repoint, seal and clean up. I am so happy with them and the way that the house now looks. It's beautiful. Everyone at this company was easy to work with and explained everything. I love the way my house looks!

Description of Work: They are the 2nd firm from Angie's List which did not return my call....from December mind you! | |As I said about the first firm, I find this to be very rude, especially when they took the time to ask for my number!!!

Description of Work: Repaired concrete slab in front porch, replaced brickwork around garage door and tops of 2 chimnies. They did a great job in all regards. Very pleasant to deal with as well.

Description of Work: We have an old (early 1900s)2 car garage(brick) and it needed to be repointed- it was in danger of falling down. We picked R&R because their price was reasonable and they had great reviews on Angie's List. We were not disappointed. I emailed Tony through Angie's List and he got back to me right away about coming out to look at the property. He went out to see the property in a timely fashion and got the quote to us within a few days after that. As I mentioned before- the price was very reasonable and it was within budget for us so we shook hands and they agreed to do the work. He said they could start the work in about 3-4 weeks. In those 4 weeks I was in touch a a few times via email and phone for a number of different reasons and they always got back to me very promptly. They initiated communication as well. Around the 4th week, they were in touch to let us know they were running a little behind on schedule and it would be another week. Two days before they were going to start, Tony called to make sure that day worked for us. When they showed up to do the work, everything went well and they did a very impressive job. I was very pleased with their timeliness and professionalism. I could call/text Tony with any questions I had and he was always happy to answer them for me. Overall, We were very pleased to work with Tony and we were very happy with the results. I would recommend him and his guys.

Description of Work: Repaired top of chimney. They completely disassembled the top 11 courses of the chimney. Then they built it back up using new brick that matched our existing brick. They repaired the flashing. | |We couldn't have been happier. Very professional, Ontime, neat work, perfect cleanup.

Description of Work: Work was completed in about a week. We were very happy with the job they did. It is a very dirty procedure so plan on covering or possibly loosing some planting around the house and for some dirt to get on the window sills.

Description of Work: They did a lot of brick work for me. They took out a area to create a door way, patched an area that used to be a door way and also patched an area that used to have a vent.

Description of Work: A friend in Dormont had his entire house repointed along with having two (2) chimneys rebuilt. He was extremely happy with Tony's work. They were fast and efficient and did an excellent job. It took about one (1) week to complete the job. They also cleaned the brick and pointed the foundation as well. He would highly recommend this company. Their house was built in 1929 and now looks like a brand new house.

Description of Work: The chimney on my new property was leaking and needed to be completely repointed. Tony's crew was quick and thorough, even tho the weather was terrible for several days they were able to get the job done. No more leaks! Great experience.

Description of Work: I was impressed with Tony of R. & R. Masonary. He had promesied to do the work th end of eptember or the Firts part of October. It is now November 11 2011. I have called approx. 5 times. He returned my call one time. The last time I called was about November 1, 2011. The summer and fall has been a waiste of time for me. Therefore I will look elsewhere.

Description of Work: Re-pointed bricks in driveway wall. First ground out old grouting, cleaned wall, put in new grouting, sprayed wall with 2 coats of sealer then did a great job of cleaning up - including pressure cleaning our asphalt driveway that was right beside the wall.

Description of Work: On Monday, April 14, 2008, I called R & R to ask if they could look at our chimney. I was told by their answering service that they would "get back to me". As of today (Friday, April 25) I have not heard back from them.
