LOWE'S

It was fine. I think for as my carpeting that I bought, it was excellent because the installation came free. That is why I took advantage of it when I did. I didn't have any issues, but the time that they came because of the size of the job, but that's pretty much the way that happened. They came and started at noon time and took them until 8:30 at night. They had somebody before me, but that's the only complaint, but the workers don't have anything with that. Lowe's didn't do it, it was whoever Lowe's contracted it out to. Their professionalism was excellent. The fellow I dealt with was very nice and thorough.

On the price I would give them an A because it was on sale and I got a military discount as well. On quality, of the product. Oh man I had one of those exploding washer because the company made a piece of junk it shouldn't be reflective on Lowes but it was a pain in the butt at some point at Lowes so let’s give them a B. On punctuality, I would give them a D. They messed that delivery up so bad it wasn't even funny. I don't have anything, I mean you know its Lowes. The people are nice, you know. As far as the service, just because um there was a couple of snag through on the paperwork, it just took a while to complete the transaction. Longer then I would of expected.

I had some problems but they were very quick to remedy the problems. I would recommend them.

I liked the price and personal attention and the guarantee of discounts if we did it in the spring. They are personable, easy access and called me back.

New carpet installed approximately 5 years ago. Over the past two years, the carpet installation has gradually developed a series of rolling waves throughout the carpet. I contacted Lowes to inquire about warranty coverage. Although the carpet has a 25 year warranty, I was told the installation has only a one year warranty. They told me the carpet needs to be re-stretched and that was not their responsibility. They could not even recommend someone who does that type of work. I am very disappointed with the installation. If getting new carpet installed, I would recommend someone with a better installation warranty.

The installer came out a day after the estimator to remeasure the windows and doors. The manufacturing of the windows took just a little over 30 days. The installer contacted me and scheduled an install date. he was prompt on the install day. the three man crew was very professional and cleaned up everything. The moved the furniture needed out of the way and placed it back where it was. The windows that i purchased were reli-abuilt. i purchased 5 casement and 1 slider. The 2 doors were 3/4 view Larson. I couldn't be happier with the product or the installation.

I always buy plants off the clearance rack and get great deals. They generally are just heat-stressed and recover fine, but you end up with great deals like a lilac bush or hydrangea for $1.

Maybe they get a lot of "slow" people who need things explained in drawn out details but we were there buy the dishwasher and leave. The Lowes person was very nice but went over things at least twice. Almost put me to sleep.

We bought the flooring product at Lowe's on Baptist. Lowe's then set up installation from a business called Romano Carpet Service. This is where the issues started. Romano sent out a person to officially measure, who bumbled this and we ended up with not enough material. This pushed back the project about two weeks. Then the installer told us that he's have to use a self leveler because there were some low spots in the foundation. Another week because it had to dry. Then, once he started, he used our dry vac, without asking, used the downstairs bathroom, without asking. The work was substandard because the leveler he used didn't get spread all the way to the based boards so the flooring was left with gaps. The whole install portion of the project was a disaster. I will say Lowes did their best they could given the install was in Romano's hands.

It was great, They did a very good job. They are reliable.

Lowe's had the lowest price for quality materials by over $1000.00 from the next nearest bidder. The installer came to measure and suggest two suitable fences with gates to keep our dog in a smaller garden area. That was in May. In November we contacted him again and he returned to remeasure, order the gates and arrange for installation. The installation went smoothly and we are completely satisfied.

It went very well. They came out when they said they would. They did a great job. Did a custom seal. We are very pleased and happy and we love it. Rob the salesman is very nice. When he came to the house to give the estimate, he allowed me to pay while he was there. We were going to go by the store to get the receipt, but he actually brought it back out to us.

I actually used them on a recommendation from my sister. She had used them. I'm very happy with them. They did a great job. The installed was extremely professional and everything was cut to size. They cut the in-stock pieces in the store for me. And the piece that they ordered for me for my sliding door fits perfectly. That one I had to wait two weeks to get. They didn't do the installation until everything was in. They did it all in one visit. I got was I wanted and that's it.

Terrible. Most of the issues were with Romano Carpet Services who Lowes subcontracts with. The headline is that they were overpriced by almost $2,800. We ended up with what I feel was better carpet and both were from Shaw and both 70 oz Nylon. Romano did the estimate and Lowes blindly accepted it. Problems included: - They wanted to put a 20' seam in the LR because they said that carpet always comes narrower than specified. That increased the carpet required. We had never had this problem before. The firm we used had no problem and no seam was needed. - Lowes had said that to move the furniture was $50 per room. Romano wanted to add to that another $285 for what they said was large furniture bringing the total to $485 for moving furniture. The firm we used charged $140 total. - Romano's estimate for carpet was 141 sq ft more than it required. - Romano's cost to remove carpet and pad was $.0,41 per sq ft. They based the estimate on the total amount of carpet ordered, not the size of the rooms they were actually removing. Their cost was $501 and we paid $254. - They wanted $188.65 fo the steps, we paid $96. I complained to Lowes but they did nothing to reallyreview the estimates, I would not use Lowes for any of my carpet needs. If you do, see if you can get a sub other than Romano's and be sure you closely scrutinize all the numbers. I'd also make sure you get other estimates. Lowes charges $35 for the estimate. Many others are free.

Horrible customer service. Purchased 7400.00 worth of Shenandoah cabinets that were scratched, defective and malfunctioning and the manager stated that there is nothing he can do for us. This is after calling Shenandoah multiple times to send out replacements. This store says it helps their customers but really are complete jokes. Our lawyer is now involved... Unreal!

I had to have it replaced because it malfunctioned and there was no problem in getting it replaced. He worked with me very well. He was very professional.

They should have paid me for doing their work. I did the cocking of the windows myself. I wasn't too happy about that. I think I wouldn't use them again. Some people may think they do good, but I think I can find someone better.

They were perfect. It was a little bit expensive and more than what I wanted to pay, but we paid it. They did part of my countertops three years ago. After we did the refacing of our kitchen, we added more counters so I needed a countertop. It was a little expensive but they matched it up perfectly. They were very professional, on time, and stayed until the work was done.

My experience with them was fairly good. However, I had some problems with the countertops. So, it took a better back and forth to get them but I cannot say that they were terribly responsive. It took some call backs where I had to reach out to them a little bit more after our initial discussions. The price was very good. The quality of the countertops was fine. The installation had some issues with the backsplash but I don't think that the actual material itself was of low quality. I would probably use them again in the future.

We were concerned about and quot;wavesand quot; using vinyl bead board for a large ceiling. The installer insisted it made no difference as to aluminum or vinyl on the ceiling or the direction of the boards. Also, he said no vents were needed since it was a cathedral. It was and is wavy! In addition, the trim was covered poorly, looked crooked and was not trimmed off under the down spout. After coming back 3 times, although not a great job, the trim was corrected to an acceptable level. They can not seem to correct the waves. The installer has been back and forth for 3 1/2 months trying to correct the issues. The installer removed an existing ceiling fan when the installation began but could not put it back when the job was done. That ceiling is 12 feet high! Do not believe anyone that says vinyl will not wave on a larger surface. Do see their work on a job comparable to yours before you hire them. We have requested complete removal and refund on this job. Lowes has agreed to do that. Overall, Lowes has been professional and cooperative; the installer (their best) was not.

The hole for the exhaust fan in the bathroom was left open and not sealed all the way up to the roof. When I pointed out that I could see the hood on the roof, he told me that it wouldn't be problem. There are water spots around that area now that have to be fixed. They ignored putting trim behind my gutters, which caused major damage when winter set in. They said that there is nothing that they can do. They never got a building permit and didn’t tell us that we needed one. I don’t know if that was the fault of Lowe’s or the sub contractor. It took 3 ½ months to eventually get a siding guy to come out and get the trim put on. He commented that it was ridiculous how poor the original job was done. He offered to write up a statement and come to small claims court if needed. He said this is what he considers someone taking advantage of people. Because of the water damage I have to get all new blown in insulation. At the very least, I think that they should have to pay for the new insulation. They claim that the damage was because of an ice dam that would have happened anyway.

They were very friendly and helpful. They came out to measure the carpet and they laid it down very well. They did their work efficiently and did a good job.
