Down & Out Tree & Stump Svc

Went well. Got a quote dropped off and mailed within a week of my original call. I got 2 other quotes and all were within $50 of each other. I chose Down & Out and called to get scheduled. They said about 3 to 6 weeks depending on weather as they were booked up. After 6 weeks I called and they indicated they had some equipment problems but would be coming out soon. I was called and told they would be here Monday June 26th. The 3 man crew was here promptly at 8:00AM and got started right away. They worked diligently throughout the day and did a fine job. They cleaned up the debris in the yard as well as around the chipper they used and finished up around 5:30PM.

Very well. All debris was cleaned up and the area where the stump was looks great!

Called the number Tuesday @ 11:30 let it ring 10 times and no answer or recording. Would not hire a company that did not answer their phone.

Great service and price. Removed tree and all debris. Hard working crew.

This company never returned my call. I have no further information. The times listed as when it is open made no sense. Could they be closed? I have no opinion because I have no other information. They were quick and gave quality service at a good price.

Removed 3 huge trees and the stumps.

Very well. Scheduling was tough because of the busy season but once they came they finished the job as quickly as possible and were conscientious about clean up, too.

We called for an estimate to cut down a couple of huge dead trees, a few 90-foot trees and numerous saplings. A few days later a team of four men arrived and demolished the jungle. They were able to take down all the trees, and the largest dead tree was taken down on top of all the others, on just one side of the hilly back forty. Upon observation all you can see is the huge dead tree on top of the pile and two smaller trees along the property line. Most of the area is debris and tree free. It is exactly what we wanted. These men are exceptional experts and we are very pleased with the entire process. We actually expected to pay more and thought the trees would be spread all over, needless-to-say we highly recommend Down and Out Tree and Stump Service.

The trees were situated between my neighbor's and my own electric lines as well as situated between our gas and water lines. Brian's crew was there promptly at 8:00 AM and gone by 11:00 AM. They called the night before to confirm the time discussed. The crews started getting set up as soon as we had our driveway opened up. The crew was very great to work with.

Called for an estimate to prune two trees, and left a message. The company returned the call the next day and said they would be out sometime in the next week and would leave an estimate in the door. Never received an estimate and never heard from them again.

They are excellent and cleaned everything up. They were very prompt and worked until it was done. There were four and then the foreman. They are friendly, give good service at a good price. I am getting ready to call them soon.

The whole operation was very fast and efficient and the crew was very professional and really nice. They took away every shred of debris and even asked if I would like a few branches taken off another tree, and brought my garbage can back and put it next to the house after the garbage truck came by. They have done work for us for nearly fifteen years and I wouldn't consider hiring any other company. I feel I received great value for the money.

It went great! They were here promptly at 7:30 a.m. and worked until 6 P.M. Very pleased!

I called Down and Out because the first provider we tried to contract never showed up or called us. Down and Out got a callback to us relatively quickly and got us in relatively quickly, within 3 weeks which was very good considering the days most tree removal places were backed up with rain. The only mix up is I had gotten a message from Brian that they were coming on Monday. Nobody came so I left a message. They came on Tuesday. Brian realized the mistake Wednesday and called me to apologize for leaving me a message with the wrong date. His team worked quickly and were very professional. Brian even took a little off our bill because my husband was able to get one of the smaller trees removed. They also removed the stumps, in addition to removing the trees. My husband came home and was impressed that they had swept up the mess around the tree and spread our mulch under where the tree used to be. We definitely would refer Brian and use their service again if need be.

Brian was a bit tardy in responding this time, but so were all the other tree services I contacted. We have used Down and Out before, and they have always done the job competently, courteously and professionally. They arrived when they said they would, worked hard the whole time, and cleaned up the area completely.

We have been using Down and Out for years. Their work is always first-rate and their prices are the most reasonable in the South Hills. Over the years we've had them remove several trees and do pruning work. They always arrive when they say they'll be here, do the work correctly, and clean up after themselves. The only problem I've had with Down and Out is getting on their schedule since they are usually booked weeks in advance. I will never use anyone else for my tree work.

I called and left message. They did return first call and left message. I called them again and spoke with someone. They said they would be coming by for an estimate and would leave it in door. Four days later....no one came. I called again and left message. Four more days later and no return phone calls and still no estimate. I called one more time. No response. I have not heard form them in over a week and no one has left estimate as promised.

This is the 2nd time I've used this company. The work was again done as requested and it was done quickly and the area cleaned up completely. I would surely use them again when needed.

As of 10/31/13, I have not received a estimate or a phone call since first contact. I had left my name ,address and phone number on answering machine two weeks ago.

Everything was done very well and they cleaned up everything.

Down and Out did a fantastic job at an unbelievably low price...AND ahead of schedule! Not only were the owners friendly when I called to inquire about their services, they were able to squeeze my job in about a week and a half early. They came highly recommended from my neighbors and I have been recommending them for the past few years to anyone I know that needed similar services. I won't hesitate to call on them again when I need a tree or stump removed.

After a couple of phone calls and reschedules, they finally came while we were on vacation. They did a very nice job and if I were at home when they were working, I would have had them remove the last three trees on my list. My neighbor said they were fast, efficient and all business.
