This was a great experience. The workers were here when the were scheduled to be, and the were neat and polite. The work done was outstanding, and I would definitely have them work in my home again.

I called to request a quote for interior painting. Person taking my information was friendly and took down my info and scheduled a time to come provide an estimate. A man arrived at my residence on time. He took a look around and jotted down some notes...I found it odd that he didn't take any measurements. Was told he would call back in a few days once he gets some figures together. Never received callback. After two weeks I hired another local company and job is now complete.

D. L. Richie was great from the moment I called, we got the estimate done, and the work as well - all within less than two weeks! They were very pleasant to work with, helped me choose my color, did the work while respecting my home (and me), and the result is wonderful. I would definitely recommend them to others as well as hire them again for myself.

They arrived right on time each day. Covered all my furniture and the floor with drop cloths. Painters were professional and polite. They did a great job painting and with the clean up. Work was completed in two days.

Super! The painters arrived on time, were so very polite and respectful of us and our home. They were people you would welcome into your home and feel very comfortable with. At first I rated the price "B" but I change it to "A" after reflecting on the idea that "you get what you pay for." Definitely will use again.

Workers were friendly and professional. They arrived daily at 8:00 AM and performed their work throughout the day. There was no residue when they finished such as chips of paint where they sanded. Next door neighbor said it looks like a new house!

The painters were very professional, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves. They worked around our needs in the house and finished in the agreed upon time. The owners were to the house several times to assist with color matching and to check on the job and to see how we were doing. I have had dozens of contractors in my home over the past ten years. This could have possibly been the best experience that I have had with a contractor.

D.L. Ritchie did a beautiful job painting the interior of my house! They were friendly and respectful, showed up promptly, and got the job done quick. The owner took the time to discuss colors with me, helping me choose the exact paint shades I needed. They were also able to remove old wallpaper and beatifully restore our walls. Their work is clean and flawless, and their paint job completely CHANGED the rooms in my house. Their prices are super reasonable, and I definitely recommend hiring them for any of your painting needs!

Wonderful! Even with my being located out of state Dave made the entire process from quoting the job to completion go seamlessly and without a hitch. Both Dave and Sally were so responsive to any questions I had. If I ever move back to the area I will definitely be calling upon them again, and I've already recommended their company to both friends and family.

These guys were awesome. They were prompt, cleaned up when they were done and very friendly. It's a great family business and they definitely make sure you're 100% satisfied. The painting was done in one and 1/2 days but the walls and trim look great. The carpeting took 2 days and Kevin did an awesome job. I'm very happy with the carpet selections they have.

They did a terrific job! We are very happy with results and would definitely hire them again. Very professional, excellent at communicating and responding to our questions/requests. Showed up every day at 8:00 sharp and worked non-stop with the exception of lunch break. Cleaned up every day and put everything back exactly where it belonged. Great personalities and very easy to work with them. Went above and beyond in helping us with supplies bought.

This was a 1 & 1/2 day job. 3 workers arrived in the afternoon and did all the priming especial the ceiling which had to have a special primer being newly plastered. The workers we very pleasant and worked as a team, you could tell they knew what needed to be done. After getting everything primed they told me they would be back tomorrow at 8AM. The next day they arrived on time and immediately started to work. One started to mix the paint, one got all the equipment ready as one checked to make sure everything was protected, Once this was completed they all started to paint the room. The paint did have a odor and the men took a small break outside and came right back in to work. They were very polite and at times, I didn't know they where even in the living room they we so quite and busy at work. They answered all my questions and when they left everything was cleaned up. The room looked beautiful. They did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend them.

Dave came quickly for the estimate. He was the highest estimate and wanted to get it done right, was very personable. we gave the job to him. he only showed up to work about 1-2 hours of the 6 days the guys were on the job. The guys were very nice, respectful, prompt and professional; however, we were paying them to paint and every day we had to point out things that needed to be redone. This was very frustrating. After speaking to the son, Doug, beginning of day 3 and expressing my disappointment, I still came home to an area he approved to be painted. this area was to be scraped, patched and retextured. it was patched but it wasn't close to being flush with the wall or even textured, I couldn't believe they were instructed to proceed. The guys did redo it to my satisfaction, but why did I have to say anything? They did tint a paint color for me that was much brighter than anticipated. After constantly expressing my disappointment, I thought Dave would stop in to talk and reassure me; however, that didn't occur.

These people are great! I like doing business with local merchants. Their family and all workers are professional and conscientious about the project. Any adjustments or changes are dealt with right away and they want to have a satisfied customer. I used them for a previous project and will most certainly go back for future work. They also have reasonable financing options available. Very Pleased...

Wonderful! On June 6, 2016, I visited the showroom. Doug explained the difference in the flooring very well. I knew I wanted a waterproof and scratch resistant flooring. Doug allowed me to bring home 3 different samples to show my husband. We made our choice and went back to the store and made an appointment to have them come to get an estimate. We also explained that I was going to have knee surgery on June 29th, but I would be on vacation the week of June 19th and wanted to know if it would be possible to have it installed the week of the 19th. They came on June 9th to measure the room and we received the estimate on June 11th. They did let us know that it takes about 1 week for delivery. On June 14th we decided to have the floor done. We received a call and asked if they could do the floor on Tuesday, June 21st and they would be there between 3 - 3:30 pm to deliver the material and the installer would be there around 4 pm. They were all very punctual. They moved the furniture so we did not need to clear the room. The floor was installed in 4 hours, and they said that they would be back tomorrow around the same time to finish the molding and it would only take about 1 hour. The floor is wonderful, looks great and is so easy to clean. It was so nice that they took our needs into consideration and was able to complete the floor and it allowed us time to finish the painting we wanted to do and rearrange the living room before my surgery. The floor is awesome, it is a very light vinyl plank flooring with a wood grain texture. We will also be finishing our kitchen with the same flooring. We were very pleased with the work and there professionalism.

Dave was very helpful and informative. Work was done in timely manner. Excellent quality. Cleaned up after themselves.

The carpet was installed in one day, and they did a wonderful job! The installers were careful with my furniture, and everything was moved back and forth safely. I will definitely consider having D.L. Richie install new flooring to my kitchen and hallway when I am ready.

In a single word, Fantastic. The company was professional through the entire process. They came on site for the initial estimate and were on constant communication with us during the process. They stated they would show up at 8am and they did right on the dot. To quote my wife's text when she got home after the job was done 'Everything looks beautiful in our house'. This helped confirmed I had chosen the right company for the job. I definitely would recommend them and hire them again.

As far as the work performed, the quality of work and the attitudes of the painters...all were excellent. I felt the cost was a little high for the work performed.

the workers arrived promptly on time, introduced themselves, were friendly to our dog (1), told us the protocol of their work (drop cloths first, etc) and accurately estimated how long the job would take there are no negatives

They did a great job, are a nice family run business. Prompt, professional, great people who do great work. I would highly recommend them to anyone! I will be using them for window treatments as well and also for carpeting in the near future and have recommended them to several people.
