CN Solutions LLC

We contracted with CN Solutions to remodel our kitchen. Part of the reason was that he (Jim Schmidt, Jr.) told us that he could complete the job in a week. He spent a lot of time with us upfront to select cabinets, floors, tile, etc. His contract is based on achieving milestones so we paid WAY more upfront than we should have, according to law. This was our mistake. They installed the floors and the cabinets. At that point, we were supposed to have our sinks installed. Suddenly, he stopped returning our phone calls and emails. He twice asked us to pick out sinks from images he sent us, pretending he hadn't received our first response. Then he cut off all contact. We contacted a lawyer, and Schmidt's response was to tell us that if we were willing to GIVE HIM ENOUGH MONEY TO FINISH THE JOB, he'd arrange to pay us back. This, of course, is laughable. There was no way we were giving him a dime more, much less allow him and his crew back into our house. Even though we had already paid him downpayments for our appliances and countertops, we had to go and purchase those ourselves, so we are essentially out close to $20,000 for work, appliances and countertops ourselves.

This was a great experience. After spending quite a bit of time getting bids from people who either wanted to install or just wanted to design, finding Jim at CN solutions was just what I needed. He talked with me about what my goals were. I did not want to put a ton of money in the house as I planned to sell soon, so I just wanted a nice, affordable update. He was great about keeping me in budget and within only a few days, had a bid and a design. He brought me samples of things and the only trip I had to take, was to the tile place to pick out the floor. As a busy professional, this was great. The entire process from start to finish took about 2 weeks, but the Thanksgiving Holiday was in there, so their work time was very efficient. They were great about making a few changes near the end to accomodate my changed mind on some things and worked to get me exactly what I wanted. The Kitchen is beautiful. I could not be happier!
