Description of Work: I have been using Beverly Services for all of my heating / cooling and plumbing needs for 11 years. I have always been pleased with the quality of their work. | | The servicemen have always been professional and courteous, as well as prompt with their scheduled arrivals. | |I continue utilizing their services currently.

Description of Work: Installed a hot water heater. Job was well done. Price was a little high but I didn't want to mess around with finding another reliable company just to save a few dollars.

Description of Work: Last service was to redo plumbing job not done as requested the first time and no charge was made. We have used Beverly for several years and have had to have them back to redo services not completed correctly the first time on several occasions. The most serious problem was a couple of years ago when they replaced the thermocouple on our water heater. We smelled gas some time later and had the gas company out - the gas service man found that the compression nut on the water heater was not tightened down sufficiently and we had a small leak. When I called to let Beverly know about the problem as I felt they would like to know, they were not responsive until I asked to speak to the supervisor. Their initial response was to state that all their repairmen follow protocol and the man would have used his "sniffer" as required, i.e. it wasn't them. They just didn't seem to understand the seriousness of the mistake made. Fortunately for us we discovered the problem before enough gas accumulated in the basement to cause an explosion. After the most recent plumbing repair needed redone as the 1st repairman did not install the kind of outside faucet I requested, the 2nd repairman found that the original faucet installed had actually been leaking at its connection in the basement and only inches from our main fuse box. We also had a rather strange experience with another of their repair main last year who came to assess what we felt were problems with the new water heater they installed last year which was running out of hot water in the middle of the first shower of the day. He came late evening and we couldn't get rid of him until a couple of hours later as he still was in the process of checking out our entire plumbing system. He did no repair work, charged nothing and stated he would like to come back to further evaluate our plumbing system. We called Beverly to report our experience and they sent out another repair man who explained about new energy saving water heaters and made some adjustments to the settings. We have had a good experience with their furnace people and will continue to have the furnace serviced by them until at least our contract expires this year. We feel we shouldn't have to have every job done twice and we have no real confidence left that they can service our home competently and, more importantly, safely.

Description of Work: They had to fix a leak that we could not figure out and the master plumber came out and completed it.

Description of Work: Annual maintenance on our emergency generator. Changed oil, filter, and checked overall operation. On time, courteous, answered any questions, but not inexpensive.

Description of Work: Checked the air conditioning system inside and outside. The technician found the capacitor needed replaced in our furnace. He checked our unit outside and did a thorough cleaning of the unit.
