Dan came promptly at 8:00 a.m. at the beginning of my 'service window'. He explained all our service options and we opted for the diagnostic service only. He checked the outlet, discussed the issues involved with my husband, and verified it was indeed the outlet that was the source of the problem and once fixed everything would be working and safe. He explained everything very well. HE asked for a broom to clean up the tiny bit of dust that came out of the outlet when he checked it.

Bill called me at 8:00 a.m., stating he would be here in half an hour. He was. He asked me if I wanted him to check my air cleaner filter, I said yes. He performed the clean and check of the A/C unit, checked it running, and replaced the air cleaner filter. He advised me to keep the mulch away from the base of the A/C unit to avoid rusting. He was pleasant, efficient and neat.

We called Beverly for an estimate based on their Angie's List rating. We did not chose them for a couple of reasons. First, they were the highest estimate. Second, we felt that the technician giving the estimate wasn't really paying attention to the information we were giving him and dismissing the information that the gas company had given us without a clear explanation of why. Third, we were put off by a lack of professionalism. As an example, shortly after my husband explained that we had lived in our house for 10 years, he asked "does anyone even live here?" (which I took offense to as my yard is not unkempt - aside from the large hole that had just been dug by the gas company). Also, upon finding out that we were getting other estimates, he informed us that Beverly usually charges for estimates but that he wouldn't charge us (nothing had been stated previously that we should be expecting a charge for the estimate). He then lingered in front of our house, making calls from his van, until the next plumber came to give an estimate and then moved his van across the street and remained there for a while, making the estimate with the next plumber a bit awkward.

Everything was excellent. Couldn't be happier.

They are fantastic. The guy came out on an emergency call late at night. He didn't charge us anything more than a regular service call.

Found my water heater leaking the Saturday before a weeks vacation. Beverly had installed the unit before we bought the housec and had good grades on Angies List. I called to see if there was anything I should do to keep it from flooding the basement before I could get someone out to look at it. The plumber on call phoned me right back and told me how to shut the unit off and turn off the water. He was very helpful. I scheduled with them to look at it and my mother oversaw the process. She had no complaints about the plumber who did the work. There was some debris left in the basement (a copper fitting, some trimmed exhaust duct pieces) but otherwise little evidence of the work. I think if we had been in town, a might have discussed our needs in terms of size, etc. and might have gone with a smaller heater (they replaced with one comparable to the one that was there), but generally we are satisfied with the work.

I wanted to thank Beverly for being an outstanding business with quality, integrity, honesty, trustworthiness that is so very hard to find today. Having retrieved 17k, but lost 8.3k in the last 2-3 years, it was a pleasure dealing with everyone from Stan the Sales Rep to all the guys who worked like dogs drilling thru concrete 6-10" thick to cut registers in over 2 1/2 weeks to get my job done. They worked at my home, took good care of everything, locked up when finished every day, and took great care to clean up. What a pleasure to have a worry-free installation. I've built 3 homes in the burg and never saw an installation this good and tidy-lots of thumb gum and everything insulted around pipes and stuffed into holes with all equipment cemented into place. The price is a bit higher than others, but the price is worth the quality of personnel and workmanship and lack of worries over installation concerns. I want to especially commend both my Installers Scott Watko, who functioned as foreman remarkably with skill, good interpersonal skills, and leadership; also Mike Faychak who worked tirelessly. Please consider a raise and promotion for these guys! I have already consulted with a Beverly electrician regarding an immediate need. Thanks again to all who work at Beverly from Stacy and Laurie who answer the phones to Larry. I called Beverly Services to have electrician go to my mother's house to see why half of the house didn't have electricity. He reported on time and was very professional. He found the problem was with the sump pump and said a plumber would have to fix it. I made arrangements again through Beverly. Again the plumber came on time and was very professional. Before he left, I asked him if he could start the furnace that hadn't been working. He discovered the induction motor was faulty. He called the home office and they sent the hvac tech in a short time. All these men were very efficient and I was pleased with their work. I'm not sure about the cost but I feel it was worth it.

Stan came to give us an estimate the next day after one phone call. He was on time courteous & helpful. 2 installers came the next 2 days on time and completed the job. They were professional & respectful.

My furnace stopped working cold turkey. So I called my old heating company which had gone out of business and sold their database of costumers to Beverly. So, my house was freezing but they came on time, just as scheduled. The technician was polite and after diagnosing the problem, promptly told me that the furnace pilot was broken which would set me back about 350, which seemed a bit pricey at the time, but hey, I was freezing in there so I took the deal plus another 120 for the emergency after-hours fee. All in all, with taxes, about 500 smackaroos. Not that I'm complaining, they did a nice job. Enough so that when the furnace failed again due to a busted fuse, I called them back and they fixed it. All-in-all, good, courteous and prompt service

They were excellent. All the way around they were really good. I would give them A's down the board.

Very well. A bigger job than initially thought but Frank did a great job.

The company picked up the phone promptly when I called to make an appointment, and the plumber arrived promptly, worked quickly, and was very helpful when I asked how to keep this problem from occurring again. He reduced the price because the job when more quickly than expected. I will definitely call Beverly Services again. (NOTE: Unlike many plumbers, they will work downtown.)

We are very happy with them. They are prompt, and they come when we call them. We would recommend their services to others. We would continue to use them in the future.

Everything was excellent. I did not have time to learn about my thermostat. He did show me the filters on my furnace and how I did not need to change one even though my thermostat told me I needed to change it. I was busy with another appointment when he came in. He was very professional.

The experience went very well with no problems.

It went well. They were very courteous and prompt. They came back right away when we were having issues with our thermostat. They did an override and now it works great!

I had a furnace and an air conditioning unit put in by another company and they did a lousy job. So basically I was afraid to turn the furnace on because they did such a bad job on everything else. So I called Beverly Services and they sent the guy out. He looked everything over and he made a few suggestions. He was really excellent. His name was Lou and he knew so much. He was excellent and I was really impressed with everything that he knew. When the other company did this lousy job for me, I wanted to go to the bureau in the attorney general’s office and the guy from Beverly Services told me that he cannot get anyone to testify, because both the companies will go against each other. He’s the one that told me that even though I did spend $7000 for this equipment, I had no recourse. All I have to do is get on with my life and try to find the money to replace it. He was the one who put my mind at ease because I was the one trying to fight them and I was spending money. I have already gone through $750 for an attorney. I really did appreciate him coming out and talking to me that way, and telling me that I didn’t stand a chance.

The work was fine, and I did not have any complaints; however, I have not used them lately. I would rate them highly.

They were excellent. We are scheduling them to do some electrical repair and updating. They were prompt, professional and thorough. They cleaned up after themselves.

They are a little expensive but they do a pretty good job and they come pretty quickly whenever I have a problem.

While my youngest daughter was in Children's Hospital, our air conditioning at home went on the fritz and wasn't cooling. The rest of the family was at home with no air conditioning, plus we had an out of town guest arriving that week, and I did not want my sick child coming home to recover in a house with no air conditioning in August. I called them from the hospital to make an appointment to fix the A/C. They offered to come that day, which would have been great, but I couldn't get away from the hospital to meet them. We made the appointment for the next day, as my daughter was due to be discharged. When it became evident my daughter was not going to be discharged as planned, I called at the last minute to reschedule, and they were very accommodating. We made the appointment for the very next afternoon. The service man called me a half hour before my appointment to see if I would be there, I told him I was on my way from the hospital. I pulled into my driveway a half hour later and their truck was in my driveway. To my pleasant surprise they had already fixed the air conditioning from the outside of the house, replacing the dual cap, and it was working! I had them check the air filter inside, and it needed replaced, so I had them do that, too. I was very pleased with everything, my family was cool, our out of town guest was cool, and my daughter came home to a very comfortable house to recuperate. To top it off, just today my next-door neighbor told me he used Beverly Services for a furnace check yesterday and they asked him if he knew how my daughter was doing after her hospitalization! That was so nice of them to remember and ask after our little girl. We have used them for a few years, we even purchased a new furnace from them and have been pleased from day one.

I wasn’t there while the service was done. All I know was they repaired it, and it was a reasonable price. It was done quickly. They seemed to be professional. The air conditioning is working well. There were no complications with the company.

They did a nice job and we were happy. They had a few glitches in what they did, but they did take care of it. The guy who checked the work did the corrections.

They have a very nice man that comes out. I like their program, it's 189 dollars a year and I think it puts you on the preferred list. If you need to get in there, they are always available when you call them. The young man told me I really don't want this 298 dollar service it just wouldn't have done me any good, so he was working with me. They have a senior citizen discount too.
