He was prompt and determined what the various problems with our garage door and opener very quickly. He said he could complete the repairs in 20 minutes and sure enough it was completed in the time estimated and explained the repairs that was done - for a price that was less than what he quoted at the time we made the appointment.

Opener was installed in one day

Very professional and prompt from coming out for estimate to install. My door had to be ordered and I was called as soon as it came in for the appointment to install.

He came the same day because I couldn't get in the garage. I was satisfied with the work and how he performed It was a good experience and I was very satisfied The price was good.

I called two local companies (included Besdoors) and Sears for an estimate. All responded with a visit very quickly. Besdoors came in with the best deal: full insulation and 4 windows for $950.00 (included labor). The other local company was $975 with only half the insulation. Sears' price was over $1,000.00 (I can't remember how much insulation). My garage door had to be special ordered as my old one was over 50 years old, and its size differed from the current ones. It only took a couple of weeks for the new door to come in. On the day of the installation, the men arrived on time, did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves. Both were friendly and professional. Bill Smith, who gave me the estimate, and with whom I subsequently dealth with, was wonderful. I recommend this company wholeheartedly.

When the doors arrived in 2 weeks, Mr. Smith called to arrange an installation date which was within 2 days. I had plans for that day so we made it the following day. Two installers arrived precisely on schedule. Had the doors installed in 3 hours. Left the garage cleaner than it was when they began. When the work was completed, went over the maintenance of the doors and said to call if anything else was needed. Approximately 3 hours later, Mr. Smith called to follow up on the work and make sure everything was satisfactory. I sure wish all our projects went this smoothly. Fantastic experience! And we have two very nice garage doors that add value to our home.

Our garage door suddenly did not open the other night when I arrived home. Once I made my way in the house (via an alternate entrance) I found that the large spring above the door had broken in half. The door was cockeyed a little bit, and far too heavy to open manually (2 car steel door). I actually called another service company that I found here on The List, and although they don't service my area they highly recommended Besdoors and provided me with the number. I called up Besdoors and amazingly they were able to come the same day and take a look. Sure enough, he showed up 3 hours later (thankfully my wife was home for the day) and had the spring replaced in about an hour, even though it was an odd sized spring! Though I wasn't home, it appears that he banged into place the bent areas of the door (caused from a fall when the spring broke I suppose) and lubed the chain and tracks. Not only was our door fixed well and quickly, it's operating quieter than ever! It must have needed the lube badly. Anyway, I am thrilled with the service we received. The price was about what I expected and my wife said the gentleman that showed up was quite courteous.
