Rick's Expert Tree Service

I emailed the service at 9:00AM and by 12:30PM they were there to give a free estimate. I have a tree that is about 40 feet tall that is not clearly on my property line (I am not sure who it belongs to). The man who came out was so honest about the process and the fact that I did not need to have the tree removed for sure. He explained the pros/cons of taking the tree down and possible outcomes if the tree did not come down. To have a provider looking for service tell me I may not need to have the $1400 job done has built such a trust with them, if I ever do decide to have work done I will only go to them.

Rick's Expert Tree Service ( not to be confused with Rick's Tree Service) did a great job! My initial phone call was returned promptly and the estimator, Dennis, was at our house within a few days. He was courteous, professional, and listened to what I wanted to have done. I told him that I needed the job done by a certain date, he said it would be and it was. We have three very large oak trees that needed to be elevated and pruned. The crew arrived when they said that they would and worked long and hard in some very hot weather. The foreman ensured that the job was being performed to my satisfaction throughout the process. When finished, I was asked to inspect the job to ensure that I was satisfied. Everyone was courteous and professional. An excellent experience overall. I highly recommend Rick's Expert Tree Service.

Ricks did a wonderful job. The job went smoothly and the property was left in perfect order. What a wonderful company to do business with. This was not the first time we used Ricks services and I would not hesitate to call on them again. Ricks is the most professional company I have ever contracted with.

We've used Rick's Expert Tree Service in the past and this job went as smoothly as before. We received a timely quote and work was scheduled and done on time as planned. All tree work was done in one day. Very large trunks were removed on the second day and stump grinding occurred about a week later. The largest tree was a couple feet from our shed with the bulk of the canopy of the tree over the shed and there was no damage to the shed. We would definitely use Rick's Expert Tree Service again.

I had 2 pine trees in my back yard that I have been looking to get rid of for quite a few years now. I live in Bristol Boro with a very narrow walk way. The alley was the only way they could get to the trees. But I have a HUGE shed that blocks most of the back to the alley, there is only a small walkway. Rick's not only was able to remove the trees without any issues but did it in a timely manor. They were very professional. My son was amazed at how fast the guy was able to climb the tree attached to all kinds of safety equipment. We got some great pictures of them lowering the top of the tree to the ground. All in all they did a great job with the limited amount of space they had. I would recommend them to anyone who needed tree work done. They were great in price and excellent in delivery.

Very professional. Removed all debris. Very fast removal. Talked with the foreman shortly while they were there and he was very professional and friendly. Left the large pieces of trunk on the curb for a larger truck to pick them up. Was only out there for a day. Will call again if services are needed in the future.

Was easy to set up and they came out on time and finished everything except could not remove one of the stumps due to gas lines. They did knock 75$ off the price

They were very good to work with. Of the three estimates, their cost was the lowest. They arrived when they said they were going to be here. Clean-up was very good. They came back the next day to take away the trunk and bigger branches.

He came out the very next day and took it down in very hazardous and closed quarters. They are very professional and knowledgable in botany and horticulture. I have used them for 15 years and I primararily only use them. They are expert in tree pruning and cutting, not to mention they are very tidy. Ask for Jodie, she can give you expert advice in regards to what your problem may be.

Arrived on time and completed the work more quickly and with less fuss than I expected.

Each time I've used them they been fast, efficient and cleaned up everything perfectly.

Jodie described the tree, what work needed to be done, assessed the tree as being healthy and noted a root that was going to and quot;strangleand quot; tree that should be removed to keep tree healthy but would not affect stability of tree. Jodie detailed all the work and tree areas that would be trimmed on estimate. This detail allowed us to compare work and prices when we contacted other companies to perform same work. For attention, responsiveness and estimate we decided to choose Rick's Tree Service for work. Workers arrived promptly, described what work would be done, performed work quickly, carefully moved lawn furniture out of way and made sure they spoke to me to confirm work was satisfactory and that the area was clean of debris and furniture moved back into place. They were very respectful of neighbors yards that they had to access to perform work leaving no debris there as well

It went very well! They did a great job! They were fast and still thorough! They did a great job with clean up! I would certainly use them again and recommend them to anyone!

I was really impressed by Jodi the arborist. She knew even more than the other arborists we dealt with, and she really loved trees. Rick's was courteous on the phone. They sent Jodi out within a day. The crew came out to work a day or two later. Everyone seemed professional and knowledgeable. They were courteous and took good care not to damage our property. They cleaned up thoroughly. The only slight delay in our case was grinding the tree stumps into mulch. As these were really big trees, they needed a large machine which was not available for a week after the initial work was performed.

It did not go well they would not call me back to give them the job

They did an excellent job. They were very neat and very professional. They took a few minutes to talk to us, whereas we had someone else and they couldn't be bothered to take their headset off, and they were listening to somebody else all the while as they were trying to talk to us. It was very rude, but these guys took the time to talk to us. They were courteous and did a nice job. They cleaned everything up and it was an excellent service.

I called or a free estimate. The woman on the other end was very pleasant and courteous. She took my personal information as well as the description of the work that I wanted to get done. I was undecided whether to just have a lower half lightly trimmed back away in the areas that I was concerned about or have it topped off and shaped all-around. What I did not want was to come home to a tree looking like a bunch of sticks. She then scheduled me for the next day. I informed her that I would not be home but could leave the estimate in the door. To my surprise the estimator called me on my cell while he was at the house. I was so happy that he did as he reassured me that if I top off and trim the tree 1/3 all around, it would get us the look we were hoping for and well as reshaping the tree for years to come. He stated a lower trim and cut back would only have been a temporary fix. He left us 2 estimates based on the 2 options. When I called back 2 days later to give them the ok, they stated that they were trimming in the area and could do my tree then next day. I reluctantly agreed to have it topped off only based on their advice as previous estimators recommended not topping the tree off. Their pricing was very competitve to other estimates. Boy I was glad I took their advice. The tree came out exactly as we had hoped for, topped off and expertly shaped all around. The area was cleaned up with no evidence they were even there. They are as their name says, an Expert Tree Service.

They are very good and the price was reasonable. They cleaned everything up afterwards and the workers were very polite; they were people I felt very comfortable having come to my home. They asked what I wanted done and they made sure they understood exactly what I needed.

The work was performed very well and in a professional manner. Everything was cleaned up at the end ot the job. Came two days later to perform the stump grinding.

They did a nice job. It did not take them long to remove the tree. They had plenty of guys and they seemed well equipped. They came out about a week later to grind the stump. I would hire them again if needed.

Wow, how did it go? Well, it didn't. I called numerous times to schedule the work and each time there was an excuse why they couldn't do it. Many of the times I had to wait days for a return phone call. I was finally told that if I didn't want to wait, then I could go some where else. (that should have been the big hint that they had no intention of honoring the contract.) After 4 months, my neighbors, who were anxious to have me clear up the debris because it was from one of my trees, got tired of waiting and cleaned up the debris themselves. Obviously, they aren't speaking to me. Hey, thanks Rick! The truth is that Rick's underbid the job and didn't want to do it. They were too unprofessional to actually talk to me about it, so they just ignored me. I will never, never deal with this company again. What I will do... is tell every person who asks me for a recommendation what a horrible experience this was.

Once we had our land survey done I called Rick's to get an estimate of what it would cost to remove the excess trees and shrubs on our new property. We got lucky and Rick's had some employees down the street from our home and they stopped by within a half hour to give us an estimate for the work. Jodie came and walked through with me a few times to make sure what we wanted to have removed. Once she gave me an estimate I hired them on the spot. To my surprise they came the very next day to start cutting down the trees. They even worked around my previous scheduled appointments that I had that day. The guys who came out were really nice and got to work right away. They had our yard cleared out within a hour and a half. We had a lot to remove. They cleaned up all the branches and even raked up the lawn to make it look some what cleaned up until the guys could come to remove the stumps from the trees. Two days later the guys showed up to take out all the stumps from the trees and shrubs. They were done in about a hour. Everyone we dealt with at Rick's was nice and did a great job. We would definitely use them again and will recommend them to family and friends that need any work done.
