Lednor Corp

We did not go with the gutter helmet but the mesh they offer. We have had them back several time since they installed the mesh. Problems with over spray, tiger strips on the gutters and large drips. (We had none of this before the installed there mesh) The last time they came out they basically state they do not know how it fix it. and we need to have someone come out ever year and clean the mesh. We thought that is why we got mesh. I have talked with them and they will not refund any money. Do not buy from them they do not care. I just hope we do not have damage to or house in the future.

Product failed completely with the very first snow. The Gutter Helmet MAY keep leaves out of the gutters for a while, but they definitely cause MASSIVE ice problems in the winter. Ice builds up on the gutters (where it never did before Gutter Helmet was installed. When I complained and said I wanted the product removed, Lednor Corporation became very beligerent. They finally sent two workmen, who were also very unprofessional. Afraid they would deliberately cause damage to my roof if I let them do the removal, I asked them to leave. Issue had to go to BBB. Finally got a full refund, but now I've got to pay somebody else to remove the Gutter Helmet product and repair the holes left by the installation. BTW- gutters are now clogged AND I've got ice problems.

Saleman did a good job convincing me that the product was excellent (I still believe this). Following a one month wait after signing the contract, the work was performed in a single day. The work looks clean and professional and the product has a pleasant appearance. During installation however, I noticed the product was being installed incorrectly. The nose-forward design (a critical aspect of the design) that the salesman spoke about, and that the website clearly describes, was not being implemented. Upon mentioning this to the installer, he became very defensive, told me that I was being nit-picking and that this is how he has always installed the system. The installer would not hear me out! I called Lednor Corp. to complain and they said they would have the supervisor contact me. A week later, the installer, not supervisor, shows up at my door! How is that going to help? At this point in time, I am hesitant to have the product re-installed as this could cause damage to my roof and I feel as installed, it will still function at 95% efficiency. My conclusion after all of this is that the installer does not believe enough in the product itself (nose-forward design) to install it as advertised, either due to ingnorance or experience.

It looks like a beautiful job but we will see how it works. Two men came out and started right to work. They were here for two and a half hours and then they left. They were very professional when they let me know in advance what they were going to do and how long it would take them. I was pleased with the price and will use them again in the future.

This is an expensive product but it is the best one on the market. I had evaluated 2 other solutions which were cheaper but inferior copies that weren't worth pursuing to me. Mentioning my interest in the 2 other products however got me an added discount. Make sure you print the two coupons on their website for 15% and a separate $50 off. Salesman was informative but not pushy. Once the contract was signed, installation occurred as scheduled with good advance confirmation notification from their corporate office. The two installers were professional hard workers who answered my questions willingly and provided good clean up outside when the work was done. Total install time just under 2 full days. During the first rainstorm the helmet performed as advertised. All in all I am very satisfied with the performance and look of the product. If you want the best product for long-term protection from clogged and leaking gutters this is it. This company holds a multi-state franchise on the patented product as of the date indicated.
