David Deegler Painting Wallpaper Pressure Washing

He was fantastic. He was quick, clean, and did great work. It seemed a bit expensive, but considering everything he had to do, and he took two days. He was a really nice and very personable person. He just did everything. He was here first thing in the morning. He is very punctual. He just did the job, quick and well. I couldn’t ask for more.

Dave Deegler arrived exactly at the appointed time with an assistant. Both were dressed immaculately in white work clothes. They were pleasant, but got right to work without delay. The job required plastering, patching and painting on the 2nd floor of my house, To get there, they had to use a relatively narrow stairway. With great expertise, Dave and his assistant carried in extra long ladders , scaffolding and the tools of their trade, Without disturbing (or touching) furniture, the staircase, or walls, they maneuvered skillfully and quickly to the work site and set up a mini shop. Everything in the rooms where they had work to do was covered with drop cloth (and not a spot of paint or plaster was evident after the job was finished). They work clean and expertly. One problem was that there were areas of painted wooden molding and shelves Dave was asked to paint spots that had become damaged or worn, and walls that had been painted many years ago with cracks. In other words, Dave had to create several shades of white paint to match and bend in with the existing old paint-and these shades were not sold in stores. Somehow, Dave managed to match everything perfectly. The work was completed exactly according to the schedule Dave gave me when I booked the job. My wife and I are 100% satisfied, and not only do the rooms Dave restored look outstanding, Dave won my admiration for his mastery of his craft and his excellent people skills. (Even my usually suspicious dogs (an English Bull dog and a Boxer) were waging their tails when he would pass them, so I suppose he has excellent dog skills too. b on time, In short, the job was done for a very competitive price, by a man who obviously has pride in his work and professionalism and who has learned what he should do to make his customers happy. Dave finished the job on time, with great expertise; and with the work area was returned to me with no evidence Dave had even been there except for the fact that the cracks in the walls and ceilings were made to disappear, and the painted areas looked new. Bravo Dave!

Dave and Matt are Rock Stars! Their professionalism and old world Artisan skills and work ethic are incredible. Every person who entered my home wanted the phone number of these two "Paint Gods" (quote from my friend) My husband and I are more than pleased with the results, would hire them again (this was our 2nd time with them) and have already recommended them to several people

Called and scheduled an appointment, he looked over the job and explained the reason I would see seams in the paper when installed. It's all about getting the right paper backing. My paper is vinyl, a brown pattern and the backing is white (un-glued). He explained the joints would show, nothing horrible, but they would be noticeable. Took a few weeks for him to free up some time to do my 1/2 a day job, but after talking to him in length about the install I knew he was the guy. He knows his craft, did a real nice job on my bathroom and was done before lunch. He was right about the seams, but they look straight and there is nothing we could do. Keep this in mind when getting wallpaper, try to get the same color backing if possible. My mother was impressed enough to inquire about him traveling to my sisters to paint their foyer.

contacted the provider for an estimate for exterior painting of garage doors and shutters and power washing. The provider showed up promptly for the estimate and was friendly and professional. It took another week to receive the estimate, which was acceptable, as it was due to a family emergency. When I received the estimate, I found it to be quite a high price for the work. The estimate just provided one total cost and did not break down the cost of individual tasks (e.g. power washing vs. painting garage doors vs. painting shutters). As such, I asked for a revised estimated with this cost breakdown. It took another week and two reminders to get this revised cost estimate. This was partly due to the provider not being proficient at using email and having to rely on his wife to use email to send estimates to customers. When I finally received the revised estimate, it confirmed that the individual prices were quite high. I then secured estimates from other providers for the individual tasks, and I was able to have these tasks done at almost half the price that was quoted by this provider. For example, David Deegler quoted me a price of $375 to power wash just the back side of my house and a small brick patio. I was able to get this done by another company who does power washing for only $225. The one other thing I did not like about this provider was that he gave me the impression that he was very busy and did not really need/want my business. When he came out for the estimate and I asked him about timing to potentially schedule something, he waived his hand at me and said he was booked up for a while. I want to use providers who want and value my business.

Arrived on time. Work was performed as per quote with exceptional quality and detail. We plan to use them again for all our bedrooms.

We obtained several estimates for our work which were all over the board and decided to go with David Deegler based on the price and his professional reputation. Really glad we did. Simply put David is a pleasure to work with. Punctual, professional, fair and flexible. He was patient as we added some work and changed the scope of other areas. Price was very fair and the quality work done by David and his crew was excellent. I was particularly impressed with how he went out of his way not to disrupt our household given the amount of work needed to be completed and time it took. First they removed wallpaper and prepared walls in bedrooms for painting while removing wallpaper in other rooms of the house. There were several surprises with multiple layers of wallpaper in some rooms and an significant amount of glue/paste to be removed in others. All the while they were patient and explained everything to us so we understood what our options were and what additional costs might be incurred. Once the bedrooms were done they worked downstairs making sure to complete the kitchen and family rooms proptly so we could use them. David was highly professional as we encountered several snowstorms during the work and even lost power for a day and a half. All walls were prepared properly, then primed and had 2 coats of quality paint applied along with ceiling white and trim white. There were several additional tasks like replacing our air conditioning registers, outlet covers and some baseboard trim which he did without issue. When they finished the work all furniture, appliances and window treatments were replaced properly and they vacuumed the work areas. Can't recommend David strongly enough for any wallpaper or painting job. I would use him again in a heartbeat! Thanks Dave, we're thrilled with the results. I think our dog (Max) misses having you, Matt and Rich around the house.

David did an outstanding job painting the interior of our entire home. He is a true professional the quality of his work is excellent. He is a pleasure to work with.

They arrived early, 7A.M., worked steadily with a short break for lunch, and were finished in a day and a half instead of two. I had to ask Dave back to fix 2 minor problems and he remained agreeable and easy to work with. I've already told him that I plan to have him back in the summer for more painting and wallpapering. I thought his price was a little high but he wasn't my highest bid either and I'm satisfied with his work.

The entire experience dealing with David was a pleasure. I'm sorry to say that some painting contractors (sometimes contractors in general) are flakey, difficult to work with and/or untrustworthy. My concerns in finding a paper hanger for our project were many since this individual's work would reflect the quality and overall appearance of our auto body shop in Warminster. My compliments begin with David's constant communication and clear explanation of work, pricing and expectations. One could tell immediately that he's a professional that cares a lot about his business and the work performed. That immediately set me at ease but I still didn't know how good he was when it came to onsite work. He didn't disappoint in that area either. He was always punctual when showing up for appointments to either perform an estimate or work on the building. The wallpaper job turned out great and he had it done exactly when and how he had promised. His pricing was very good for the work that he performed and we will most definitely keep him around to do the rest of our 10 shops. The only tiny issue was residue that was left on the surface of the paper, which became visible in sunlight. It's nothing that can't be fixed and I'm sure he'll take care of it, but I had to try and mention something critical :) (it's the only reason I gave him a "B" in quality).

I was satisfied with the service. He's very knowledgeable in his craft and I would recommend him to others for their painting endeavors.

I got 4 estimates, 2 from Angie's List and they came in the middle. They arrived on time each day and cleaned up each day. We moved little furniture and " things" and they moved big furniture. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to friends and family.

After the insurance company approved the estimate, David came over and spackled and primed. The following day he and Rich painted. The place looks great. There's no way you can tell there was damage. David painted the interior of my house three years ago and did an excellent job. So I did not hesitate to call him when this problem developed.

I hired David to remove wallpaper, make some repairs, and paint my bedroom. My bedroom is one very large room on the 3rd floor of a S. Philadelphia rowhome. I had to reschedule our initial appointment due to a work emergency and David was very understanding. On our rescheduled appointment, David and his crew showed up promptly, were extremely professional, quick, and did excellent work over the course of a day and half. The end result looks fantastic, and I will probably call David again when it comes time to paint the rest of the house. Absolutely recommended.

Dave and brother arrived on time (7am) and were finished by @ noon. Both were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about their profession. Did a terrific job including cleaning up and actually scraped up paint that was spattered on the counter years ago. He told me he does power washing (houses and decks) and refinishes decks. I will be calling him again in the fall

David and his men exceeded all our expectations and did a truly excellent job. We fully recommend them with no reservations and will hire them again whenever the need arises.We have had various other painters and wallpaper hangers, but we will never use anyone else again - David Deegler was by far the best we have ever hired. David is highly organized and did all this work in less than 8 days. They moved all my furniture, removed and replaced all our hanging pictures, and any other items that were attached to the walls, and I only needed to remove books from our wall unit. There were no scratches on the hardwood floor and it was much easier for me than I had anticipated it would be. They cleaned up every night, leaving only their work station and the furniture covered with drop cloths in whatever room(s) they were working. We had access to our kitchen and powder room at all times, and they always asked if we needed our furniture back for our use - for instance, if we needed our family room available for the weekend. They are exceedingly polite, quiet while working, very efficient while doing their work, friendly and responsive and a pleasure to have working in our house. They came promptly every morning at 7 am, never missed a day and were never late. David made sure we were happy with the paper we picked and the paint ahead of the work starting, so there was no hold-ups in getting the work done. The painting is smooth, even, with no streaks, and the corners are clean cut. The house is 25 years old, but looks new, clean and fresh because of his painting. It is a pleasure to walk into our house. The wallpapering is also excellent - you have to look very carefully to find the seams between the rolls, it looks as if the walls were painted because the paper was applied so well. There are no bubbles or not smoothed areas, and we are very happy with the results of his meticulous work. The windows were no easy task at all, and he and his men tackled the job effortlessly with excellent results.The pressure washing made our deck look brand new - it looked like it was all new wood! It had never been washed before, so I don't know how he did it so well. It should also be noted that David responded immediately to all calls or emails whenever we had a question and we had no reservations whatsoever about leaving them alone in our house. We are very happy and more than satisfied with his work and recommend him 100%. It is very obvious that David and his men take pride in their work and in doing an excellent job for their customers.

We found Dave through Angie's List. All work is done well and in a very professional manner. Dave is very knowledgeable, not just as a painter but knows wallpaper like no one else! First job was to remove wallpaper that had been on for over 15 years. He was the only contractor to give a price for removing the paper and to tell me that he had to see the walls to assess what needed to be done next. We thought that was the most professional assessment of the work. He was quite helpful and answered questions happily about both wallpaper and paint. He also gave me some great tips re: covering heating vents while having my wood floors refinished. I found scheduling to be easy and he gets back to you as promised. Always punctual. To sum up, happy to recommend him!

I didn't use him because he was more than I wanted to spend and even if he wasn't, I was turned off by his attitude.

Dave was one of several interior painters I contacted to give my dad an estimate on having wallpaper removed and painting spare bedroom. Dave contacted my dad several days after I left a message for him on his answering machine. His estimate was higher than two previous estimates my dad had received so my dad chose not to use Dave's services for this project.

Dave and his crew arrived early each of the four mornings. They were always courteous and professional. The entire process was explained to us before the work was untaken. Before they left each day, the areas in which they worked were left neat. The results were better than we had expected, and we look forward to working with Dave on additional rooms in the future!

David was great, extremely responsive and uber punctual (early for every visit). His staff was clean, professional, polite and worked very hard. The quality of the work was excellent and the quickness of the work performed was impressive...they completed a big job much faster than I could have hoped for and 5 times faster than if I would have done it myself! The Team cleaned up very well and explained everything. Kudos.

Dave showed up to quote the job on time and walked me through the process (he was the second quote) that he made clear would give me a job that I would be happy with when he finished. They showed up on time and worked hard. They were sensitive to our needs as they worked around us in the home. One of the keys to good painting is the preping of the surfaces and they spent the time up front to do it right. If I have more to do in the future, Dave will get the job.
