Description of Work: I cannot say enough good things about David and his truly remarkable talent of hanging wallpaper! When I lived in Manhattan I moved around so much like a gypsy and I must have had over 13 different people do my wallpaper in that time. David by far was the best!!!! When I moved to New Jersey I was worried about what kind of person will be able to do the job of hanging my wallpaper as I usually spend thousands in highend paper with tons of patern and metallics and it takes the right person to do the job. David blew me away with the work he did. In total he did over 5 rooms all large took him a total of 4 days to complete and he took his time and did not rush which was perfect. I highly recommend David to do any wallpapering job. Will be calling him back again soon. You can't go wrong!

Description of Work: David Deegler was just about mid-priced with the bids I collected. I chose him in particular because of his assertive follow up. I really appreciated that he followed up and really wanted the job. His guys did a great job with applying the wallpaper. The only thing I would suggest to them is that they do a better job protecting surrounding equiptment. ie computers etc. I would also suggest they come with a shop vac so they can effectively clean up after their work. On day one, they did not have one. But they did bring one the following day. Knowing that, I would highly recommend them and definately use them again!!

He has made my bedroom luxurious; with the help of castle wallpaper on franford ave. in philly, my bedroom has become one of my most visited rooms for comfort! He also wallpapered my kitchen with a tuscany wallpaper and it is fabulous! Thank you again, Dave, and i am getting ready for my living room to be done! If I had known how wallpapering can change a homeinto a retreat, I would have done this along time ago! Dave,keep up the excellent work!

 + -1 moreDave responded quickly to my call, came out within 24 hours to check things out and got back to me with an estimate within 48 hours. I requested the work to be started after my husband came home from his military leave and Dave had no problem accomodating me with his schedule. The work is beautiful and I am very pleased that I found him on Angies List.
Description of Work: Dave and his crew removed wallpaper from 3 rooms, prepped the rooms, painted everything and even added work that was an afterthought with no problem. He and his crew were courteous and very orderly. They moved everything back in it's place and left very little mess to clean up. A great guy with a great group of guys working with him. We all love the work and I will use him again in the future. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting good quality painting done in their home.

Description of Work: Dave wallpapered my kitchen and master bedroom, to near perfection! I kid you not-he transformed my bedroom into heaven-I loveeeeeeeeee it! My kitchen,with the excellent help from Castle wallpaper store in phila. went from ok to a place in Italy!  + -1 moreThe crew was well managed, very neat, wiped down floors and stairways after sanding; took special care sanding and preparing walls; used primers and painted walls with 2 coats of paint.The wallpaper job was excellent; because it is a century home, many walls are uneven and required imagination to apply the paper with a slanting ceiling and eaves.
Description of Work: removed existing wallpaper on three stairwells and landings, sanded and prepared walls for paint and/or wallpaper.

 + -1 moreI did not hire David's company. His quote was more than double the other two quotes I got. I actually called David to ask about the quote and make sure it wasn't a typo. I explained that two other painters quoted in a similar manner, and his was twice as much. He said he appreciated my phone call and was surprised his quote was so much higher, but his price stood. We didn't hire David. We did like him a lot, but his price was about $900 higher than his competitors, so we hired someone else who also came recommended by Angie's List.
Description of Work: David came out and gave an estimate ($1900.00) on painting a bedroom, kitchen and laundry room. He was on time and very seemed very qualified, professional and competent.

He showed up exactly on time with his helper, worked diligently to obtain a good paint match with the existing woodwork, and worked neatly and professionally. The finished product was excellent. I recommend him as a highly skilled painter. The experience couldn't have been better.
Description of Work: I had a cabinet maker produce a large custom built wall unit for my family room. It needed to be painted; which included prime and two finish coats inside and out. This included fifteen shelves, five base cabinets with ten doors, crown mouldings, etc.
