The employee arrived on time and was professional and nice and came up with a solution to the problem of my heater/ac not coming with something to keep my filter from moving (no extra charge).

They came on time and were professional, polite, and nice. They covered my floors so they wouldn't get dirty and then cleaned up (I didn't really see anything that needed to be cleaned up!) afterwards.

The interview was professional. I met with Scott and he explained everything well. The crew had a little trouble finding the location, but were not very late. They used protectors on the carpet. They managed to replace the roof unit without the use of a crane, which would have cost much more. The price was as quoted, however, I had specifically discussed the installation of a unit with the new, eco-friendly refrigerant (R410). This was the unit that had been quoted, yet they actually installed a different unit (one that used the old refrigerant). I had no complaints overall, but don't know why the unit was different from the original plan.

We have a hybrid heating system and they are one of the few who service it even with all of the technology and computer boards inside. They are really knowledgeable even with old systems as well. This gentleman recommended a great product to use in our tank. I never knew there were products out there until he took the time to explain it to me. I just think they are very good!

The response was timely from Custom Aire and the man who did the maintenance was friendly; he enjoyed my dog who loves to play! He was very pleasant and did a thorough and professional job. I would use this company again for routine maintenance on our boiler.

It went well. They told me that they would be there at a certain time and they showed up right on time. This impressed me greatly. The only issue I have with this company is price. I think it is expensive for 1/2 hour of work.

Mr. Mattner was very courteous and professional, providing loads of literature, explanations, and answers to follow-up questions. He even offered to lend us space heaters if we needed them until the work was done. Unfortunately, his estimate came in substantially higher than several other estimates.

Custom Aire replaced a Carrier central AC with a new Carrier unit. The estimator was professional, courteous and experienced. The installers arrived on schedule, worked competently, and were careful to clean up thoroughly after the difficult attic installation. I intend to use Custom Aire again and would recommend them to you.

Horrible. Over priced and tried to sell us stuff we didn't need. Estimated cost was $7,500.

There were some initial problems with the installation, having to do with an inexperienced crew but, they were very responsive about correcting the matter.

When Bruce came to give us an estimate he was very thorough. He measured all of our windows and doors and floor span to get an estimate of how large our house is for our needs. This is the one thing that stuck out from the other estimates. One company recommended a larger A/C unit but when Bruce measured, he let us know anything larger than a 14 SEER would not have fit through our doors to the basement. All the other companies were recommending 14 SEER units and up and never measured to see if it would even fit in our house! We got an install date about 1.5 weeks after we agreed and signed the contract, which was great considering it was during our first heatwave of the summer. The crew was very professional, left no mess and had our unit working in the time frame allotted. The company does not try to up-sell or hard-sell you on anything you don't need. We appreciate everything they have done.

Overall, it went very well, although the work took much longer than expected for reasons that weren't their fault (and I should mention that although it was more work than they estimated, the price remained the same). Custom Aire sent in about three different crews to do the different parts of the work. All were extremely polite and friendly, and cleaned up after the work. Beyond that, they were all very cooperative when it came to discussing the various choices that came up, such as where to place vents and so on. I felt that I was in control of the job so it would come out the way I want it. When it turned out that there wasn't enough room above the ceiling to put the ducts in the attic, we developed a new plan together. They never tried to push extras on me, and everything was very nicely done. I can't comment yet on the follow-up service and so on since there haven't been any problems. A very professional operation.

When I called the company for an appointment, they made it easy according to my schedule. The appraiser for the job was on time, VERY professional, and wore a uniform with his name displayed. I was given a packet, which included 5 recent customer references with phone numbers and a customer survey for each job. The packet was FULL of valuable information and a history about the company. The day of installation was set that night, and the appraiser was very thorough in his explanation of the contract and any rebates/sales that were offered. All questions were answered in detail. The installers arrived on-time and were neat and well-mannered. A full explanation of how to use the digital thermostat was given to my wife, and ALL of her questions were answered. All warranty information was explained and a registration package was given to us to fill out. We are extremely pleased with the job. The heater was run for an hour while the installer was here to demonstrate/answer any questions.

Everyone I dealt with at Custom Aire was very polite and professional. They showed up on time. The installers were very neat and cleaned up after themselves every day. When they were finished with the install, they showed me all the equipment and how to program the thermostat, etc.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. IT WAS 95* OUT WHEN THE A/C WENT. THEY FIT ME IN TO THEIR SCHEDULE, WORKING IN THE AFTERNOONS FOR TWO DAYS IN ORDER TO GET IT RUNNING. THEY WERE FAST, EFFICIENT AND POLITE. CLEANED UP WELL.

CUSTOM AIRE GAVE ME SEVERAL OPTIONS TO REPLACE THE BROKEN UNIT. I WAS PLEASED THAT THEY RECOMMENDED A LESS EXPENSIVE UNIT BECAUSE IT WOULD MATCH THE EXISTING HEAT PUMP.
