WONDERFUL job. Estimate was punctual and reasonable. Planning was fun with Tom - he gives great options that helped us stay in our price range. He came to us with tile options, etc. Job was completed in 4ish weeks. Work was very well done from knocking down walls, putting up new, electrical, plumbing, appliances, painting, etc. The bathroom is very small yet feels spacious because of the choices Tom helped us make, like what size shower stall, using a pedestal sink (but doesn't feel small), vanity with mirror, and built in shelving in the corner. We have gotten amazing compliments from many family and friends and 3 years later are still incredibly happy with our bathroom!!

Choosing Bella Brothers to renovate my condo was one of the smartest decisions I ever made. When my ancient kitchen was begging to be updated, I was at a loss as to how to proceed. Tom from Bella Brothers entered the scene, with his expert advice and a solid plan. He even brought samples of granite and tile right into my kitchen, which was a huge help in the daunting shopping process. Soon after, he and the talented crew went to work, with the lines of communication tirelessly manned by Christina in the office. They handled every step of the renovation with the ultimate in professional standards, experience, and creativity. The icing on the cake was that Bella Brothers had charged significantly less than any other company had proposed. My kitchen turned out GORGEOUS; I can honestly say that though many months have passed, not a day goes by that I don't love it. So when my living room also needed an entire gut job, there was no doubt in my mind that I would turn to Bella Brothers. In came Tom again, with hardwood flooring samples, wallpaper books, and paint charts. And once again, the whole renovation proceed-ed skillfully, professionally, and with as little intrusion as possible. I was especially impressed with their handling of a poor wallpaper choice that I had made. Committed to customer satisfaction, Bella Brothers undertook to immediately correct what could've been a disaster on my walls, even though the installation had already begun. Their solution was stunningly beautiful. I had thought that I would never love any room as much as my kitchen, but now I adore my living room as well. So without reservation, I totally recommend Bella Brothers Construction to anyone looking to renovate any place in their home. Bella Brothers will not disappoint - they aim to please.

I could not be more pleased with the professionalism and timeliness with which this project was handled. Bella Brothers had previously completed work for me on a new rooftop deck which was a job I was completely happy and satisfied with (and which deck several people have told me is the nicest and best constructed deck they have ever seen), so there was no question which company I wanted to pick for this job. What I am particularly impressed with was that there were some difficulties that need to be resolved during the bathroom construction as I was looking for maximum use of a small space and for the relocation of all the fixtures. Thanks to the carefulness and creativity of the construction crew, these difficulties were resolved; I believe that the long experience of a number of the crew members was the reason for this outcome. What was a previously awkward bathroom to get into and to use is now remarkably efficient and beautiful as well.

My father-in-law was impressed by Bella Brothers, they came to give him and estimate and price for windows. He went with them and was happy with the service they provided.

The response from the website inquiry was almost immediate and the woman I spoke with at the office was extremely polite and professional. She set an appointment for us with Tom and was very clear that he may be a bit late, etc. She also called to confirm the appointment a day or two before the appointment. Before Tom came out, I had a very good feeling about this company and they seemed to be really living up to the testimonials and the positive self-image they portray on their website. Tom came out and he was great!! He was a really nice guy, seemed very honest and was extremely thorough in measuring our spaces, discussing potential ideas, etc. He explained that it may take several weeks to get us the estimate since he was going out of town. We said that was fine and felt really good about the experience. Well, several weeks went by and we heard nothing. I called the office to inquire and the same very nice woman explained that he was very busy and probably hadn't gotten to it yet. I said that was fine but could they give me an estimated time of when it might be done. She said she would ask Tom to call me. Tom never called. I then emailed and something to the effect of "I may have missed the estimate if you sent it so please send it again or let me know when we can expect to receive something from you." I never heard back from the email either. I was really disappointed and it really is a shame. Tom seemed extremely nice and competent. I WANTED it to work out with him but we just couldn't get any response from them after the initial visit. That is extremely frustrating. The only potential positive I took out of it is that if they are not responsive, I would rather find that out before starting a project than when I can't use my kitchen or bathroom for extended periods of time. I cannot speak to the quality of the work and I have no idea why they fell off the face of the earth but, for us, it was a very disappointing and frustrating experience.

We met with Bella Brothers in September 2011. The bathroom was first to get done and we were told it would take approximately 2 weeks and that's how long it took. They came in on weekends to get the job done and done right. We are so so so very pleased with the workmanship that this company provided. They stand by their word. They put all the right people in place to do the job right. The tile work in our bathroom is amazing and beautiful. Tom gave us ideas about our bathroom that we didn't even think of. We love our bathroom!!! On January 3, they started our kitchen and that took approximately 3 weeks to get done, again the same workers who worked on our bathroom worked on our kitchen and did an awesome job. The workers are punctual, they come when they say they are going come, they were very neat and clean. They take pride in their work!!!!! You will not go wrong with going with Bella Brothers. We had a lot of anxiety over getting both jobs done, but once I met with Tom and later when the workers came in on 12/12 /11, I knew this was the best decision I could have made. I would do it all over again, and of course I highly recommend them!

It took them from October to February to finish the bathroom. I wanted them to put information on the walls, but they never did that. I wanted the medicine cabinet that I had to be put back into the wall like it was, and they said they couldn't do it. I had a really bad experience with them. They had a little indentation in the tiles and they didn't replace it when they were supposed to do that and did have extra tiles. They had the wrong ceramic tiles from the get go. I would ask anyone dealing with them to get everything in writing first and make sure that anything that is requested be done right away. Don't let them say, okay, I will take care of it because they wouldn't do it. If it's not in their contract they wouldn’t do it. The price had changed a couple of times, and that's how I got to the price that they charged. The bathtub that they had installed was leaking, and they had to come back and put something on the floor to stop the leak. It was just a bad experience that I didn't have to go through.

I joined Angie's list in September to look for a qualified contractor to do a kitchen and bathroom remodel, I found Bella Brother first in the phone book and once I joined Angie's List I saw that they had a very good rating and thus I felt better about my choice. My husband called and we had a meeting on Sept 19th for measurements and once we decided to go with Bella Brothers, we set up another meeting for October 10 and signed contracts to do our remodel.

We decided not to refinish our basement. We got some quotes from other people to do the other work. Our neighbor was having the same problem and had already hired someone so we decided to have them also do our work. We really liked Bella and they gave us some really good advice. They were a little bit higher but they were probably very accurate. They were very knowledgeable. He actually helped us out a lot because he told us to contact our insurance company and the insurance company actually ended up covering some of the sewer line repair. He was very honest and gave us good advice. They were extremely responsive and punctual. They were definitely professional. We would probably get another quote from them if we decide to do any construction.

They arrived on time for our scheduled appointment and were very professional all around. I really liked the ideas they came up with for the design and layout of the new bathroom. In the end the written estimate was a little higher than the verbal one given at our initial meeting. And it was just a little bit too high compared to the others I had gotten, so I decided to go with another contractor for my project. I would consider using Bella Bros. in the future due to the fact that I thought they were professional, imaginative and honest.

They were very punctual. They did a great job. They were very flexible. I would recommend them.

When a local contractor said no, Bella Brothers said “Yes we can!” My dream of replacing an old kitchen and knocking down supporting walls to maximize space in a small apartment became a reality when Tom walked in the door. He presented ideas that had never crossed my mind. Tom was patient and called me during each step of the renovation. My ultra modern kitchen now has beautiful wood cabinetry with plenty of storage. Old plumbing and wiring were replaced. The recessed lighting with dimmers and placements of fans are just right. The custom closet is great for extra storage. Although I’m located 90 miles away, it wasn’t an issue to Tom and his guys. I’ve referred Bella Brothers to family and friends already. I have Tom in my contacts list, and will be calling him when I’m ready to finish my basement!

The initial estimator was very professional, gave me a good price, seemed to understand the scope of the work that I'd needed done. However, once I was prepared to have the job done, I called to make arrangements to approve the proposal and ran into a proverbial brick wall. The receptionist that took my calls told me, after my 6th call, that the estimator (or whoever was supposed to be getting back to me) was aware that I had not received a return call. This led me to the impression that I was wasting my time.

For the most part they did a good job with the remodeling but I'm having trouble with the electrical now. The electrical installation later became a problem. I was having difficulty with my ceiling fan and track lighting. They advised that the fan motor was probably not working. The fan was only a year old however so I wasn't convinced of that. Others advised me later that the wiring might not have been properly installed with too many circuits being on the same line. I am now looking for a new electrician. I will add that they did come back and honor some of the other fixes under the year warranty but I'm still having to deal with the electric.

Bella did a great job. They stuck to their projected time line and did everything we asked and well. I have a minor complaint with their painter's job, but I'm picking nits.

They agreed to a contract for the installation of some French doors. I put down a deposit of $1300. Three weeks later they returned to say that they underbid and that the job would cost about $1300 more than they agreed to. They offered my deposit back if I was unsatisfied with the offer, so I asked for it back. Now it is almost a month (and many, many phone calls) later and they still will not return the $1300.
