Description of Work: Came for an estimate. After many phone calls and over a month waiting we gave up on them..never got an estimate

Description of Work: They made a appointment. I left work early to meet them they showed up but never followed thru with a cost or phone call. They must not have needed my business.

Description of Work: The gentleman came to give an estimate (after office tried to change my appointment a few hours beforehand.) Then we never heard from him again one way or the other. No notice whatsoever.

Description of Work: I called Bella Brothers for an estimate to redo my two bathrooms (full remodels on both) and other work around my house. They sent a rep who spent about 2 hours touring the house with us and writing down all the details. He left with a promise that we would have an estimate in a couple of days. We never heard from him again, even after repeated follow-up phone calls to the office. Very unprofessional. We will never try them again.

Description of Work: I contacted this company to get an estimate on an extensive garage repair. I got the estimate, but with a big caveat- I had to pay $500.00 for an itemized estimate. Because this was a job that included my insurance company's involvment, that was a non-starter. I was not going to pay to get an estimate that I needed for the insurance company, as it was a covered event that they were willing to pay for. However, they were not going to take my word on the cost; I needed it in writing. This is unfortunate, because I do not think this is a good way to conduct business.

Description of Work: Bella Brothers did a complete remodel of my mother-in-law's kitchen in 2008. They did an outstanding job! The work was done to absolute perfection. My husband contracted with them and was extremely pleased. He died in 2009 and his mother in 2014. The house sold within 30 days of listing mainly because of the kitchen. I woould recommend them to anyone looking to have a kitchen remodel.

Description of Work: Initially I chose Bella Brothers as a result of their high ratings on Angies List. | |This was my first personal experience in having construction in my home. Ironically my career led me to knowledge of construction from residential to large industrial. My initial experience was wonderful with Tom and Christine. The initial follow up was very good. |My bathroom is in the middle of my home without a window and was vented. My original concern was being without a toilet on my 2nd floor for several days. I was originally promised the maximum amount of time would be 2 days. | |Kevin and Dennis showed up on time and worked diligently to complete my bathroom. Again, my one issue was being without a toilet upstairs. They removed the toilet on a Thursday or Friday and the floor was not being installed until the following Monday. I contacted Eric with my concern and instead of saying I'll get back to you I was yelled at and told that the floor people would have to install the floor around the toilet. Eric did come out and speak with Dennis and Kevin but left without letting me know the resolution. As Dennis & Kevin were cleaning up, the floor people showed up and quickly installed the new floor. They advised me that they normally remove the toilet and reinstall it themselves. | |The following week I received a call from the painter informing me that he couldn't come out as his assistant called out sick. Not quite sure how that affected me but I was ok with that. He came out the next day & spent about 10 minutes in my bathroom informing me that the walls weren't prepped. Within an hour 2 people showed up to work on the walls. They didn't put anything on the floor and after they left I had to wash the floor of tar marks from boots. While washing the floor I noticed that the caulking was very sloppy in some areas of the bathroom. The painter did show on Wednesday and finally painted the bathroom. There was also a dent in my wall (previously there) that was not filled in by the people that prepped the wall or noticed by the painter. Dennis came back out to correct the spackling of the floor and wall and install a new fan. After allowing the spackle to dry I finished painting that wall myself. | |The fan was replaced in my bathroom and was undersized. The first time that my daughter took a shower the walls were sweating which did not occur previous to this. Upon contacting Tom, I was informed that this was a standard size fan used in all bathrooms but that he would have Eric check with their HVAC people for sizing. I was also told by Tom that it wasn't his fault but his subcontractors. Eric informed me that they did me a "favor" by bringing my new fan up to code. Funny, I thought that anytime any upgrades are done during construction that they must be in compliance with code. I didn't hear from them & continued to have to wipe down the walls after each shower. Having some knowledge of air infiltration I measured the room volume and did calculations that showed the 50 cfm fan that was installed was indeed undersized. I contacted Tom again who then had Eric contact me. Instead of being told that a larger fan would be installed I was questioned as to what my numbers were; once I gave them to Eric, he told me that they did match what his HVAC people came up with. Not sure why I needed to answer a quiz question. Dennis then came out and installed the new bathroom fan. It did help a little however, the walls were still sweating close to the shower. I again contacted Tom and was told that they do not install fans over the shower unless they are UL listed. I then spoke with an engineer friend of mine who stated all of Home Depot products for bathrooms were UL listed. He also informed me that a bathroom without a window should have a fan double the size of the air volume of the room. I also found out that a fan over the bathroom should be wired to a GFI. I contacted Tom with all of the information. I then received a bill for an additional cost of $1015 for an additional fan in my bathroom. | |Bella Brothers should have paid attention to the detail in the initial pricing of my bathroom. If this was done correctly, the air infiltration would have been addressed. I also found blaming a subcontractor for errors was wrong. I hired Bella Brothers and any issue with a subcontractor should have been seamless to me as the customer. I also should not have had to do all of the calculations on my bathroom to prove that the fan was undersized. | |In closing I must say if the company was dealing with a man that the attitude would have been different. I have since hired an electrician at 1/4 the cost that Bella Brothers quoted for installing an additional fan in the bathroom. |

Description of Work: We scheduled an appointment and after getting all the information Mr. Terzi send an email that took a little too much time to send with the price proposal which was about 20% higher then any other offer we got.

Description of Work: Wouldn't recommend them. Didn't return calls for days, cancelled appointment one minute before scheduled time. Didn't seems respectful of my time. Many more contractors out there to choose from. Very happy with Clement Construction.
