A & A Dolan Locksmiths

The younger Mr. Dolan and an assistant -- two very pleasant young men --changed and standardized the keying of all locks and gates that give access to my house. They also made five duplicate master keys for me and even made the duplicate keys on a different-color blank from the original master so that if I ever need to have another duplicate made, I know which key is the true original. Service was great, the work was first-class, the price was right (not cheap but fair and reasonable, considering the amount of time and labor). I'll use them again in a hearbeat and have already recommended them to a neighbor who'll be having some lock/key changes performed as part of a home do-over.

Brian and his son were great! They work very 'clean' sweeping and vacuuming along the way. They were very respectful of our home and went above and beyond, fixing minor glitches on the doors in our home that is 100+ years old. Will definitely hire again and recommend to others.

I called Brian on a Friday morning after my house had been broken into the previous night. Since the burglars had gotten off with one set of house keys, I really wanted the locks to be changed that day if possible. I found Brian on Angie's list and gave him a call. Brian said that he could move a few appointments later in the day and squeeze me in by 5pm. He then called me back about 15 minutes later and said he could get to the house even earlier if I was available. Not even an hour later, Brian and his partner were at our house, and in less than an hour, we had new locks and two new sets of keys. Brian was incredibly accommodating in a tough situation. He explained all of the work he'd be performing, fixed our lock at the back door which was not working properly, waived a few charges because of our situation, and gave us the 10% Angie's List discount on top of all that. Whenever I need more work from a locksmith, I will certainly be calling him. I cannot recommend him enough.

Prompt service, did a great job. They needed to order a part for the front door and there was a bit of a communication lag while waiting for it to arrive, but not a big deal and would use them again.

A & A Dolan Locksmiths were effective, efficient, and charge reasonable rates. Many of the existing locks were not installed properly and/or were old. Mr. Dolan and his staff adapted quickly and were able to solve any issue that came up. A & A Dolan Locksmiths is my go to Locksmith. They have always delivered on any building they have re-keyed on my behalf. I highly recommend their services to Landlords and Property Management firms. They handle large jobs with ease and are extremely customer service friendly.

I needed a locksmith asap to make a new key for my filing cabinet in short order. I found Mr. Dolan through Angie's list. He was very responsive, systematically going through all of the possible ways he could find out the key I'd need. He guided me to where I could find the model of the file cabinet, looked it up in their data base and made a key. If I couldn't get that information, they would have had to break the cabinet apart to get to the mechanism they need to make a new key. Fortunately, with Mr. Dolan's guidance, I found the information he needed and the next day he and his son came to my home with a working key. They were very professional. I would call them again if I need a locksmith again.

These guys were awesome. They were professional from the moment they answered the phone to schedule the appointment until the time they left my home. They were very knowledgeable and provided affordable options. They made suggestions and provided additional services free of charge. The guys were friendly and smiling, and we had a wonderful conversation. They were even friendly and playful with my nosy dog who wanted to follow them around. I will definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good locksmith. Very family oriented and it's nice to see that in todays economy where money and greed have taken over.

Brian Dolan came by and re-keyed my sisters house at 6 in the evening. I called him at about 4:30 and explained my situation. I was hoping that he could make it over the next day but he said he would swing by my sisters house before he went home. Brian said he had another job and would be there after he was finished. True to his word he did everything he said he was going to do and with a smile. He seems to be a great guy and was very helpful in this situation that was a little stressful. Brian and Brian were a pleasure to deal with. They responded quickly, discussed our needs, and gave details and an estimate. They separated the work into different days in order to get the upgraded locks. They were efficient, courteous and professional and all around good guys -fun to talk to. The electronic lock went in and they really spent the time needed to ensure it was right and I approved of the finished product. There was a slight delay with receiving parts prior to the New Year and they apologized and offered to come out on my schedule. One of the door frames had metal plating behind it (I think they told me it was part of the framing) and it made it a challenge to put in the upgraded lock. One of those things you don't know until you start drilling. Regardless, they spent they extra time to get it right and we are pleased with the results. Highly recommend.

I have a 1972 British Leyland Triumph (TR-6) convertible that I bought new while in the service overseas. The car has been restored; we needed ignition keys. Found a specialty shop in York PA that provided us with "blanks" (at $15.00 each; these cars haven't been made in almost 40 years). I called Brian Dolan and explained the situation. He got right back to me; I mailed the blanks to their shop in Bensalem, Bucks County and a week later he had made and returned two duplicates. Keys worked perfectly, and were nicely machined. Overall impression is that these folks are both competent, and confident in their ability to do a job right. That is always reassuring to a customer who knows almost nothing about their trade. . S.J. Brian attended the lockout as I requested. Thanks to his assistance, it was a quick in and out service. I'm glad I was able to locate him, because I was very concerned that I would not find a bonded locksmith on a Saturday....it was unusual enough to have a legal eviction scheduled on a Saturday anyway, so I was really panicking to locate a locksmith that the courts would accept to provide the services at last minute (I had a 3 day window to set this up!). Brian may have been the 3rd vendor I contacted, but he was the first to respond, and I was satisfied with him from our initial conversation all the way to the followup call he made to me today to make sure that everything was satisfactory. It's very difficult to find contractors you can trust when you're managing properties out of state...and when you factor in last minute legal requirements, it increases the difficulty even more. Brian is definitely a vendor I am retaining in my database for future work...I just hope I have more work in his area. If I could, I'd duplicate him so I could have one in every city I manage properties in. I'd know that the work would be done, and done well. I can't emphasize enough how rare it is in the REO/management world to find a TRUSTWORTHY contractor.

Brian and Brian were fantastic! They showed up when scheduled and worked quickly and efficiently. They re-keyed 5 locks and installed a new deadbolt cylinder on my front door. When I hired these guys, I only expected to need to re-key the locks, but decided while they were there to install a new cylinder. They gave me a quote and quickly performed the additional work.
