This is the second time I have used this Locksmith. He called back soon after message left and followed up to schedule the appointment right away. Arrived on time and did work to correct the problem. Very pleased with the service and responsiveness.

Every job that Dolan has performed for me has been great. Brian Jr is the man! He gets the job done quickly but never rushed. I highly recommend these guys for job you have that requires a locksmith. They are easy to work with and super accommodating.

It went well. Took five minutes. Probably didn't need to buy the special deal since he said there was no charge for the repair and then I told him I had already paid Angie's list.

Excellent right from the start! Everything was great, beginning with my initial call and a quick call-back from Brian Sr. A followup phone call was received the next morning, as discussed and promised, from Brian Jr. We discussed all the nuances of the job: front door and back door rekeying of the deadbolts and doorknobs with additional keys needed. I explained that the homeowner would not be present and that I would probably be arriving with the person who has power of attorney (POA) for the owner. I was immediately told to have the POA documentation to prove we had the legal right to be there. VERY impressed by this response and request! As it happened, the co-owner was on site so it wasn't needed but that response sealed the deal for me that this was a reputable, professional company. We arrived right on time and Brian Jr and his assistant were there ahead of us. Awesome! They asked questions, immediately assessed the work that needed to be done and began promptly. We discussed ahead of time approximately how long the job would take and they completed the job in the time discussed. Cleaned up and removed all debris, provided a clear concise invoice along with the additional keys requested, as well as a control key for future rekeying needs! Highly recommend and happy to refer this company to others, as well as using for my own needs. Thanks again for a job well done!

We recently bought a new property and wanted to change the front door lock which is very old and no longer made. We wanted to keep the cylinder since the patina matched the handle. He was able to re-key the existing cylinder and did an incredible job. We highly recommend him and would use him again.

Like many, after a recent move-in, you want to change your locks from those used by the previous home owner. Mr. Dolan was quick to respond to my inquiry and quick to come out to change the locks. He was professional, thorough, and did a great job. Would highly recommend this company!

Sad to say the job did not go as well as I had hope. I wanted a dead bolt installed. The job I received is very disappointing. I am now left with a hole in my frame that the deadbolt goes into....no stricker plate installed, no steel box. I don't feel at all safe with the way this deadbolt was installed and am back to relying on my other locks again. When I expressed my disappointment he explained it was a metal door and he wasn't sure he could install the steel box and or the stricker plate, he could come back to try but not sure how it would look or if he could do it. With that response I prefer not to have him back in my home. On top of this he also scratched my door excessively while installing the deadbolt. I now have scratches on the front and back of my door. A door that was only a few years old. Very disappointed. He should've explained in the beginning what could and couldn't be done. I asked for a lock to be installed I expect to get all the parts that come with it.

The problem we hoped to solve, that a previous locksmith could not solve, required creative solutions and he solved the problem. We have been very happy with the result. He is great to work with and very conscientious about the quality of his work. I give him an excellent plus rating. He was very personable and easy to work with. I will definitely call him in the future.

Working with AA Dolan was a fantastic experience from start to finish. It all began with my phone call just inquiring price and availability for a dead bolt to be installed. Brian was respectful, quoted me a fair price and I could tell from the sound of his voice that he just seemed like a nice guy. We scheduled a time for him to perform the work. Brian and his partner (whose name I unfortunately forget) showed up on time and were extremely pleasant and professional. After they introduced themselves and got the lay of the land, they got right to work. I think the entire process took them around 30-45 minutes after which I had a perfectly installed deadbolt. They even cleaned up the saw dust from the drilling with a portable vacuum they brought along with them. I couldn't have really asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this provider.

I live in Massachusetts and needed a locksmith to change several locks at some property located in the Philadelphia, PA area. I called A & A Dolan Locksmiths to see if they would be willing to work with someone from out of state. Brian, the owner, was extremely compassionate and understanding throughout our telephone conversation. I was very impressed with his professionalism and the company's commitment to great customer service. His company commitment and values exceeded my expectations. His employees were also polite, courteous and thorough. I was very pleased with a job well done and felt that their prices were reasonable. Such a commitment to great customer service is to be commended. I would definitely recommend their service to my family & friends in the Philadelphia area.

They responded quickly to my inquiry and agreed to meet the day of my settlement to re-key the lock on my new front door. They said it would be a service call of $75. The time when we were supposed to meet came and went so I called to confirm and they said they had gotten the days mixed up. We agreed to meet the next day. They arrived the next day and quickly set to work and efficiently completed the job. I was a bit surprised to get a bill for $128.50 when I thought it was going to be $75, but they said the $75 was just the service call base charge. They did give me $10 cash to compensate for the date mix up. I would use them again in the future but call to confirm in advance and make sure to understand the final amount more clear.

The provider was professional, honest, friendly, and knowledgable. He came shortly after we called him. He advised us that we did not need a new lock as we had thought. He was able to fix our lock which now works fine. We will definitely continue to use A & A Dolan for our future locksmith needs.

Brian was very responsive when we began our search for a locksmith in the area. He came to give us a quote in the evening after work, looked at all of the doors and was able to get me a quote within a few hours. He was very helpful and explained the options as well as gave professional recommendations (he even called back the next day with an adjusted price that he thought of later that evening). He was able to come out within a few days and get everything swapped out. He and his son worked quickly, cleaned up after themselves, and were happy to answer any questions I had at the time. When we had trouble with a key a few weeks later he came back and replaced it almost immediately. He was great to work with and we would definitely use his services in the future!

Very courteous and professional. They repaired my existing locks and didn't try to push me to buy new ones. The are very accommodating.

Next day service was easy to schedule. Tech quickly identified problem and made door lock mechanism operational again without a very costly replacement.

The service was excellent. I received a response to my initial call really quickly and was assured they would contact me to agree on a service date. They did. They showed up on time and were very professional. Even took the time to explore different options to accomplish what needed to be done to secure ( re-key, add locks and deadbolt) two outside doors. Definitely would use them again.

Our front door dead bolt lock wouldn't work. The keys wouldn't fit into the lock. We called on a Saturday afternoon and Brian was here in about an hour. Very fast and professional. Would recommend him and use this company again if needed.

My initial call the night before was returned within just a few hours. I asked if next-day service was possible and they said they could schedule me for the next morning. They called in the morning, gave me an approximate arrival time, and were there when they said they would be. 2 very polite, professional young men. They said the lock on my door was not one they regularly worked-on, and kind of complex, so it took them longer than they originally thought it would to change the cylinders. But they worked on it until they got it right, kept me updated on the progress of their work, were very meticulous about cleaning up the work area, and charged what I felt was a fair price for the work.

Brian returned my voicemail quickly and was very friendly and professional over the phone. He was able to get to my house within 3 hours of our conversation, and he fixed the problem quickly. He provided a very thorough and understandable explanation of the problem and how to avoid it in the future. And he charged a very reasonable price. I was very happy with the service he provided and would absolutely recommend the company to others.

I called Brian on a Saturday morning, after learning that the lock on a busy wrought iron gate at Lombard Street was broken. The owner of an apartment house in our complex had removed the waterlogged lock because it was inoperable. Brian met me that morning, told me the lock that had been on the gate was an indoor lock, and he would get me a great replacement. He did, coming back Monday with an Arrow Revolution lock that from its You Tube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvRWp8dBdwY) appears to be able to withstand just about anything. Problem was, whoever installed or removed the previous lock had mangled the gate. Brian and his people were there every day trying to make the install work. Finally on Thursday of that week, they brought a new custom box for the lock and a welder to weld it on. They finished up the work at 10;30 that night. Through it all, Brian was extremely responsive, and wanted to get the job finished as much as I did. He then came back a week later and painted the lock ? which looks great. (He also charged an extra $440 for the custom box and welding work, which the apartment owner paid for.) Despite the fact that this job was eating up gobs of time, Brian never complained. He focused on getting the job done right, which I really appreciated. I was very happy with Brian's initial fast response, his follow-up, and perseverance to get the job completed successfully. I highly recommend him and his team.

Fantastic!! They had very fair prices, were on time both times, communicated regularly and did a very good job. Part of the job required getting a replacement part from the manufacturer, and they even contacted them on our behalf to get the replacement part sent for free--they just charged for labor for the return trip. They went above and beyond, and I recommend them without any reservations.
